Tints R Us delivered flawless work. They tinted all my windows and added paint protection film to my headlights and bumpers, and everything came out perfect. Juan, Juan Jr., and Moses are a fantastic team. They are professional, friendly, and detail-oriented. They took their time, explained everything clearly, and treated my car like it was their own. No rushed work, no shortcuts, just precise results. I have trusted them with four different vehicles over the years, and every single one has held up beautifully. It was my first tint ever on a car, and Juan was very helpful on discussing what I wanted. He and his team had the job done for all my windows in 2 and half hours. The car looked amazing, but I saw a flaw on the driver side window so I asked Juan about it and no questions asked He said bring it back for him to redo it no charge. Exceptional service, great character and most of all great product. Highly recommend this place!

Juan and his crew are amazing! I came from Oregon and this is my fifth car that Juan has done! Would I waste my time coming from Oregon if it wasn't amazing work? Nope. I sold one of my cars 10 years after Juan tinted the windows and it still looked like I had just gotten them done! When I got home the passenger door wouldn't unlock from the inside and Juan answered when I called and came to me to fix it thoroughly, yes I was still in CA! They even came back to double check it. I love Juan and his boys and you will too!!!! Get it done now by Tints R Us!

I got my Jeep tinted with Tint's R Us and can't get over how good it looks now -- totally changed the vibe! The tint gives it that clean, bold look I've been wanting, plus it keeps the inside way cooler and adds some extra privacy. I was referred by a friend who has had her car tinted here. Getting in touch with them was easy. Made the phone call and got a quote and an appointment within minutes. I will say they were not the cheapest but I decided to go with them based on my friends review. I was looking to match my front windows to the rest of the car, which has factory tint. I got to the shop which is located in the back of a residence. I wasn't exactly sure where to go so I knocked out the front door, and then was told to go to the side gate. The owner came out moments later. I showed him my car and told him what I wanted. He game me some suggestions on what would look good and told me that it would be done in about an hour. I ended up also having the front to windshield tinted after seeing a vehicle outside with it. To my surprise, he called me a short while after, and my vehicle was done. These guys are really fast. I picked up my car and it looked great but I did notice the front windows don't exactly match the back, although it's not exactly what I wanted, it still looks good. All in all, great customer service and their work is clean and fast, but like I mentioned, they were not the cheapest. I ended up paying for two windows and a windshield what other places quoted me for the entire car.

Great family-owned business with decades of experience, competitive pricing, and detailed work. Juan Jr and Juan Sr were honest, friendly, and accommodating. At first we tried to match the front to the existing tint in the back but ended up just getting the car re-tinted; 15% all around with a 5% windshield strip and it came out AMAZING. Really added a new look to my 2013 Jetta GLI. 10/10 recommend!

Juan and his team are legit professionals. They did an outstanding job delivering excellent results. Their prices aren't the highest, nor the cheapest, but I can assure you you're getting mid-range pricing for top-tier quality work.

I have been going here to get my windows tinted since 2018! My dad recommended me this place after Juan tinted the windows on his car as well. In total, I believe I've had 4 cars tinted here as well as recommended him to my boyfriend and we are all satisfied with the work that he's done!! Never in the many years that we've had these tints have they bubbled, or worn out. They do an amazing job. For context, my boyfriend is a huge car guy and is SUPER particular with whatever goes on his car. He has never ever complained about the tint job that Juan and his crew has done! Juan and his crew (which I believe includes his sons) run this business very professionally. He is super friendly and he definitely carries a great aura with him! The waiting area is very nice, and the whole process is very organized. Call to make an appointment, and then he calls you the same day just to confirm. Once we got there, we were in and out in no longer than 2 hours and he did all 4 doors plus my back windshield. VERY efficient, and very open about the whole process. $350 for this whole job and I am satisfied again. Tint's R U was a referral from my local Volkswagen dealer... I spoke to Juan, the owner, on the phone and we scheduled to have the tint installed at work in South San Jose . A few days later... Juan showed up with his mobile service van and crew of two; they had my Sportwagen done in two hours ... including my panoramic sunroof for $300. Juan did such a great job, that I had my wife's Jeep done as well, and have been happily referring Tint's R Us to friends and family. Juan has been in business for over 20 years, and offers a lifetime warranty on his tinting work... Which closed the deal for me, because I know if anything happens, he'll be there to fix it. read more

I just got my Honda Accord tinted and it came out amazing! Juan was very accommodating and the service was fast and QUALITY. My tints made my car look that much nicer, for a great price! I'm very particular and picky with my car, but I have no complaints with my tints. I've been recommending him to all my coworkers the second I got back to work. Juan and his sons have taken care of a full tint on about 4 of my vehicles (that I've had over the years). He's a great guy, super responsive, and does an outstanding job. He has a waiting area in his garage and he and his boys will engage in friendly conversation if you'd like, or leave you alone to do your own work. It is a very comfortable atmosphere. The price is standard but the work he and his sons do, is top of the line. Hopefully I don't have to get another car anytime soon, but if I do, I'm taking it to Juan and his sons to get a tint at Tint's R Us! read more

I've been taking my personal and work vehicles to Juan and his company for a long time. The main reason is quality of work.2nd reason is the customer service. Only 1 of the 6 vehicles we took there had to be redone but Juan took care of it no problem. Also Juan the owner is very involved in the business and you can tell he takes pride in his work. As for scheduling His secretary Carmen was very accommodating to us. They also have a comfortable waiting area and all the employees there are friendly. Thanks Juan! I was recommended to Tint's R Us by a friend. When I contacted Juan about making an appointment, he got right back to me & we set it up. I got there & he was immediately welcoming & friendly. He explained what the process was & got started telling me it would take 2 hours for my car. I sat down & was warmly greeted by his wife. I have had an Issue with my Tint on my 2016 Ford Fusion, starting to bubble up down from the bottom right of my back window. So I called up and told Tint's R Us about it and they said ok bring it in on the scheduled date and I brought it in at 9am and was finished at about 10am. It was a Lifetime warranty to fix whatever they problem may be. I'm happy with this business and will let others know to get their Vehicle tent from this place. Juan and his crew are really good! I am happy with the tint I decided to get! It's dark, really dark! I got 8% for the front windows and 5% for the rear windows. They were super fast, we bought the car on a Wednesday night, and the next day I got my windows tinted. They offer warranty and they are really professional and fast! These guys are really worth it! We live in Santa Cruz and we drove all the way to San Jose to get our windows tinted. We got two cars tinted there, and if we hear anyone wanting to get their windows tinted, this is the place that I would send them to! read more

*evil laugh* I am driving ILLEGAL! Come and catch me Cops! ;) I am so grateful to the Yelpers who reviewed this place and brought me to Juan and his car window tinting business. I bought a new car and have always wanted to have my car windows tinted. I looked on Yelp and was overwhelmed with all of the 5 star reviews for this business. I didn't waste any time and called on a Wed and was seen this morning on a Saturday at 8am. When I arrived, I was a bit confused because there are no street signs and this business runs out of a very nice gentleman named Juan's home. He saw me pull up at 7:45am and waved at me and moved his truck for me to pull into his side driveway. He was happy to see me early and there was no problem getting me started before my 8am appointment. While making my selection of different tint swatches hanging in his garage, he also took me out to his work truck and a car out front to give me an idea of what the different tints looked like before I made my final decision. He also explained to me that it is illegal to tint your front windows but did I listen? His business runs out of his garage and I was impressed how clean and professional it looks for a home garage business! He showed me to the big couch where the plasma TV was set up for me to watch. He also had a fridge full of drinks and told me to help myself. While I waited, him and his business partner got down to business tinting my new car. It was fun watching them do their craft as I sat and watched. They are very intricate and detailed in every part of it. Plus while doing that to my car, Juan engaged in me with polite and fun talk while I waited. I felt like I was hanging out at a big brother's garage...I had fun! They were done by 9:30am, so in all it took maybe an hour and half to finish my car which included the hatch back window and all 4 side windows. I of course had the back windows darker and just slightly tinted the front windows enough to make a difference but not noticeable enough when the Po-Po come hunting me down. ;) Total cost came to $250 for all of my windows. They except all payments including credit cards, cash and check. Before I left, Juan explained to me the importance of the care for my windows when washing them now and to avoid ammonia products on my windows. He walked me out to my car, shook my hand and told me to enjoy my car. I really liked this guy and his sincerity and hard work because it's obvious he cares about what he does! Highly recommend this business for window tinting...check out my before and after pictures. read more

Juan and team did an awesome job. My husband and I both got services done at my workplace, so we didn't even have to go anywhere! Juan gave us some suggestions because we weren't sure how dark of a tint to go, and since his team was traveling to us, they had to have the window shapes pre-cut, and we ended up both liking the varying shades we went with. Pricing was reasonable, and actually, when the tint they did for my front windshield was a little too low for my taste, I went to their garage a week later so they could accurately measure the length and they were able to redo the front in about 20 minutes at no extra charge. Excellent and efficient job, and I would definitely take my next car there. read more

So after my tint, i noticed that my back brake lights werent working... when i braked i notices that the light didnt shine because i usually see it. But i figured hey, i got a 15% on the back, maybe its so dark that i cant see it but WRONG! I had my friend look at my brake lights while i stepped on the brakes and Indeed., my brake light was out! The same light that i had seen them take off to install the tint on my back window... I called juan and asked him if he maybe forgot to rewire something and asked if i can come by and take a look. he said he'd call me back but i never heard back from him!!! wtf!!! I hate when some places or services are nice when your a new client and what not, but the moment you have an issue they're not showing you the same customer service. I now have to bring my car somewhere else to have it checked and would have to pay more for a diagnostic fee. The tint is fantastic dont get me wrong, but now one of my car parts doesnt work due to the tint and nothing is being done to fix it from the same person that messed around with it. read more

We've all had the displeasure of seeing a car with a homemade tint job, or a cruddy "professional" job. Either way they are an eyesore. Im not snooty, but rather I feel that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right. Juan and his crew do it right! They came to my place and made quick and exceptionally precise work of my new Audi TTS. I am generally a bit paranoid about having anyone new put their hands on my car, but this man has earned my trust, and you really ought to let him do his thing on your car as well. I love his work! My parents surprised me and got my car tinted about a year ago by Tint's R Us and it changed my life. Lol I recommend my friend to his shop and decided to come along with her. We both drove from Tracy, California. It is at his house but he does have a mobile business as well. It was professional but also laid back. He was super friendly and answered all the questions we had. He showed us the different tints, made recommendations, only took an hour and a half and most importantly had an amazing price for his work! I used Yelp for the first time and located Tint's R Us. Both the driver and passenger side windows of my Toyota Tundra needed to have the window tint replaced, and the job was completed for $150. I dropped my truck off at 8AM and went to grab some coffee. I came back at 9:15AM and my truck was done. Juan did a great job, and explained the care process for the tint to prevent peeling/fading. I highly recommend his work to anyone interested in getting their windows done or repairing a previous tint job. read more

These guys are awesome. Finished up my front and rear windows quick- about 45 mins! Juan actually offers a mobile service and will come to you (as long as you aren't TOO far away) and will stay true to the quote he gives you. The price for all windows, on top of the quality and darkness of the tint, is truly unbeatable. I was blown away when I was given the number of how much it would cost. I also originally planned to tint my tail lights, but Juan actually pointed out something that I had never even noticed before: there was so much moisture built up in my tail lights! He was willing to do the work, but he recommended that I get them replaced and then come back to him to get them tinted. I would have never even guessed I would have had this problem if it wasn't for him. Do yourself a favor and get your glass tinted from these guys. You can't beat the price, speed, and quality. Juan Pena is the owner of Tint's R Us and has 20 years experience tinting windows. He has tinted three cars for me in the past two years; a 2013 VW GTI, a 2014 Nissan Altima, and a 2015 VW Golf R. The rear window on the VW's is very tricky due to the curves. All three cars are perfect. Tint's R Us is a family run business and operates out of Juan's converted, detached garage. The installation area has a permanent roof to control the installation environment and the garage itself has been converted to an extremely comfortable waiting area for the customer, and work area for Juan's team. Juan will also come to your location for the installation, however, you will need to know the desired shade prior to the installation. Juan uses Solar Gard window tint and includes a lifetime warranty on his work and tint. The tints are computer cut for each vehicle. On all three cars, I had all windows from the B pillar back tinted as well as clear tint put on the rear bumper to protect them from loading the hatch/trunk area. Installation took about an hour. His prices are very reasonable for the quality of work. His team (which includes his brother and occasionally, his son) are clean and professional. Most importantly, the final product is outstanding. I highly recommend Tint's R Us. read more

I've been coming to Juan since 2007. He did my G35 and most recently my Tesla Model 3. Solid personality, down to earth guy and humble. Was in and out in less than 2 hours. The tint looked good and no bubbles or peeling. If anything happens I know I can go back to him to fix anytime. This place Rocks! I was desperate and was in a time constraint to get my taillights overlayed. Called in at 9am and even though they seemed super busy, they were more than happy to accommodate my busy schedule and get it done. The process took around an hour but the final product looks amazing and flawless. Juan worked on my car like it was a piece of art, being super meticulous and careful, taking baby steps to make sure there were no bubbles. I couldn't be happier with the result and the price! I have been around tint for decades and have to say Juan and his sons do a fantastic job. They work well together and have a process locked down and all are in synced. They did my 22 Tesla model 3 with ceramic on all glass. Would recommend them 100 times over. It's a family business so quality is top priority. I am super picky about work done to my Audi, but these guys are worth it. If you got their VM and no response, Put away your ego and try calling back again!! Don't be a child or go get your s*$t done elsewhere and regret it. Just Got my windows done on my A4 and these guys do a fantastic job!! I LIKE that Juan works out of his garage, made me feel better rather then going to a big place who doesn't care about your car. The job is Flawless! Great service and very friendly people. Got my Kia Optima tinted and it looks great. I was between a few tint options and they were able to put them side-by-side on my window to see how it looked before I committed to one. They were patient with me while I was deciding on my tints. Meet the Business Owner: Juan P.

Having recently immigrated to the Bay Area in 1989, not knowing anyone in the area, it was difficult to find work. Struggling to make ends meet, I was willing to do any kind of work. After working in a taco truck for some time, preparing and cooking the food, I landed a car washing gig. The manager liked my work ethic so he offered me a job at his local tint shop. The rest was history. I’ve been tinting windows (cars, houses and commercial buildings) since the early 1990’s!

THE QUOTE: Through Yelp message they gave me a quote for my Tesla though I did not provide % I wanted. When I arrived for my appointment, they told me 30% was only available in ceramic - price was more than quoted. THE MAIN PROBLEM: the ceramic tint is green and my stock tint on the rear windows are brownish. I can definitely notice when looking at the car from the side. I just feel like they should have known and could have told me about the color difference since they have tinted Teslas before. NOW WHAT? I can probably go back and have the tint replaced under warranty since there are a few small bubbles. I was told they can replace with different tint % only if lower or same cost. BUT they will take longer for warranty work since its unpaid - prob over an hour. I just don't feel like waiting so I guess I will live with it for now...

After several chats, then a costly ($1,582.45) visit to Tesla Santa Clara-Northwestern Parkway, Fernando installed a new sheet of Expel XR Black Ceramic to my new rear backlite glass for no charge, as promised. As first reported, my rear defroster ribbons were damaged pre-install. This Tesla service center claims this to be wear and tear for a 2018 M3, even when simply cleaning the rear glass. Online chats and Tesla forums will show that some Tesla service centers will cover this defroster failure for no charge as "goodwill" or "defect," -- just not "warranty." My apologies to Fernando as when he said "cleaning," he really meant a simple cleaning of the glass prior to install! It could have happened to anyone -- including me. It was not clear to me at the time what could have happened to cause this type of damage. My bad for the misunderstanding. (I suppose the takeaway here is it's best to get your car tinted when the rear defroster is new, not after years of sitting in the sun.) And, after further review of my original invoice, Fernando did give me a cash discount as a gesture of goodwill. I look forward to returning to GSAG&T to get my other vehicles tinted.

June 23, 2007 $249 for full car (except windshield) using choice of 3 manufacturers of HP (high performance) Charcoal film. Price is normally $275, but Juan discounted to $249. Lifetime guarantee no bubbling or peeling or fading or discoloring. Of course, a lifetime guarantee is only meaningful if the company is still in business. Juan has been window tinting for 15 years, and has had his own business for 11 years. Juan installs at your location on weekdays. Installation on weekends at his San Jose shop only. Installation requires about 2 hours Juan offers you a choice of 3 films - 3M HP (high performance), ProtectGard HP, and Solargard Colorfast NR. I was disappointed that he didn't carry the Solargard HP film, and so I chose to go with ProtectGard. More detail on each below. With each film, you have a choice of shades: 5% is darkest as it only lets in 5% of light and it is common used on limousines and vans, then there is 15%, 20%, 35% and 50%. It doesn't matter how dark you go on the rear and back side windows. Local laws limit how dark you can go on front side windows... see Window tinting laws at http://www.solargard.com/Assets/PDFs/Technical_Docs/State_Tinting_Laws.pdf. In California, you can be issued a citation if you apply less than 70%. However, you are considered to be pretty safe from citation when using 35%. We chose to go with Protectgard film, using 35% for the side windows and 15% for the rear window. Juan uses a machine to computer cut the film to fit the exact shape of the windows. But frankly, his hand-cut films provide just as accurate a fit. We are very detail-oriented perfectionists. We rate the quality of Juan's work as outstanding. He does the work himself with two experienced assistants. It's interesting to see how the process works. The windows are thoroughly cleaned, and then the film is fitted to the outside of the window, cut and formed to the window. Then the film is removed and applied to the inside of the window, and smoothed. After the film is applied, Juan uses microfibre towels and spray wax to dry and polish. It's harder than it looks and Juan's team is very detail oriented. There is a lot of water involved, and you'll have to park your car in the sun for a day to dry the interior and heat the film to set the adhesive. After you have window tint film installed, be careful to use the right glass cleaner. Juan recommends you use an Ammonia-free glass cleaner - the best is Sprayway glass cleaner - you can buy it at Safeway for $3 a can. After searching on Yelp, I settled on Tint's R Us to tint all the windows on my 2010 Maxima and I couldn't be happier! Juan and his team did an amazing job for a reasonable price. A year ago, My black civic needed to be tinted before my daughter is out from her mommy's stomach, so I decided to yelp for a place to get my car tinted. I found out about Tint's R Us from this very website. everyone give them 4 or 5 star rating. I didn't check other places at all. I called Juan the owner of Tint's R Us. We setup schedule and he got my new Solara done right way. price was less than half of price what dealer offer and they offer lifetime warranty Juan and his crew working on my car on hot summer afternoon. it was over 100 degree. but they got it done under an hour.
