Overall it was a 10/10 experience for me. The tints were well done and at an extremely reasonable price. I asked for a quote and they messaged me back in under 10 minutes, allowing me to schedule the appointment as quick as possible. I anticipated that the installment process would take 2-3 hours, but the team got it done in approximately an hour and a half. 100% recommend OJ Tint Studio if youre looking to get the best tints in the bay area read more

Omar and his team was amazing and the process was easy. Messaged him and scheduled an appointment. Pricing was good, told me he'd finish in 3-3.5 hours. He finished in under 2 hours and everything looked great. I definitely recommend anyone who's looking to tint their car to come here read more

Had an awesome experience getting my car tinted! He did an amazing job and was extremely detail-oriented throughout the entire process. He's also super understanding, easy to work with, and has a great sense of humor, which always makes it a good experience. The tint came out great, and you can tell he really takes pride in his work. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking to get their car tinted. Definitely someone you can trust to take care of your car! read more

Absolutely amazing service! Smooth communication over text, showed up on scheduled date and Omar&his team took care of my car within an hour. I have a Mazda3 hatch and there are quite a bit of windows on her, I was expecting minimum 2 hours but was pleasantly surprised with the efficiency. The price was AMAZING for what I got (Xpel Ceramic), everywhere else quoted me 650-850$ for basic Xpel Carbon which is insane), I appreciate honest business and I would recommend OJ tint to any friends & family looking to go and get their tint done. They also have a very nice waiting area with snacks & water which is awesome while waiting (this was done on 08/22/26) Update 09/04/2026 Omar and his team are incredible! I have some TPU film on hand for my Mazda's speedometer & shift knob indicator lights area, these places are NOTORIOUS for scratching just by looking at them or blowing air at them the wrong way, but I don't trust my self enough to do it and possibly make it worse. Asked Omar for help, scheduled a date, pulled up and BAM! Done within 10 minutes and came out flawless. So SO happy with Omar & his team and truly thank you for the fantastic services. Was taking my fiancee & his mom on a road trip and they offered them water&snacks as well, the hospitality is very much appreciated and now they are thinking about taking their cars to get tinted here as well :) read more

Very quick and reliable! I messaged the business though Yelp and received a response within 10 minutes and was able to come in the next day. Definitely would recommend this shop to those around the South Bay! read more

Omar was extremely knowledgeable about tint. As soon as I told him I needed my tint redone he asked "did you do yours with Jet Black tint?" And he knew right away that I wanted to remove the tint and put on a new one. Since it was a half I upgraded to a full back glass tint that stretches towards the top of the backseat. Definitely worth the upgrade. He also fixed the little window that was an eyesore because of how badly it was messed up from the previous tint shop I went to. Price was fair for the work. Requires multiple people to do the entire back glass and it turned out way nicer than it was before. If you are considering another "cheaper alternative," do yourself a favor and get your tint done right at this shop so you don't have to get it removed multiple times like I did. Will definitely come back to fix the other windows. read more

I've been going back and forth on if I wanted to tint my windows and for my 30th Birthday I said why not. So Happy Birthday to myself and thank you OJ Tint for making the process easy. I honestly thought that making an appointment would be 2-3 weeks out but I had sent a inquire via OJ's website and 10 minutes later I got a text from them asking for details about my truck. After agreeing on the type of films they had they were able to book me for an opening 2 days later on Friday afternoon. I was honestly shook it was that easy. I wasn't sure what I needed to prep before the installation as they didn't mention anything so I pulled up to the garage with a pretty dirty truck and stuff in the seats. Luckily that was no issue. I met with Omar and he explained what was legal and illegal for the tints, showed me some examples of what the end product could look like and told me how long it would took. After that I took my hour lunch across the street and came back to a newly tinted Tacoma. What was really nice too so I wouldn't mess up the curing process was he slapped a "Do Not Roll Down" sticker on the window buttons to remind me they were curing. Omar really knows his stuff and I couldn't have been more happy with how they came out. I forgot to mention they have a waiting area and cold drinks if you decide to wait it out in their little area. But yeah his hospitality and genuine care on what you want for your car made me feel confident him and his team would be giving me nothing but great quality. He also does some parts of the tint, which shows he's not just a boss, he's also a good role model. Plus knowing the boss of the company is working on your care gives you that ease of mind that he's not going to screw up. So when I end up getting a new car/truck, I'll be back because OJ Tint, is quality and professionalism I can trust. Also shout out my friend for recommending me this place since they went to elementary school together! read more

Updated Thoughts: 4.98/5 It is still a 5 star and probably to no one's surprise. Previously, I stated that 4.95/5 was the highest score I would give out, but this place is well deserving of a near perfect rating. The 0.02 point is just room for even further enhancement or improvement of this already amazing business. Tints: Xpel Window Film - XR Ceramic (88% Heat Rejection) - 15% back, 15% rear windshield, 35% front Again, three tiers of window tints were provided to me like last time. Per the website and Instagram profile: Xpel Window Film: CS, XR Ceramic, and XR+ Ceramic. My choice is the XR Ceramic again because it provides me just what I need and meets me at my comfortable price range. I decided to tint my two sides in the front and add a light shade in the back sides and rear windshield since they already have a protective glass on top. Again, first impression, she's gorgeous. It got an approval from my friends and family. There's just something so sleek about it now and I'm very satisfied with the result. Everything that came with my previous purchase is within this package. Lifetime warranty and no-fault warranty. Service: A+ Previously, I had so many positive comments about the service and I'm back here to commend it once again. Omar, the owner, is so knowledgeable, genuine, and cares about the product that he is providing. Yes, he is trying to run a business, but I'm convinced that he cares more about building that trust and the quality of the product that he is providing to his customers. I have a sunroof and planned to tint too. This would benefit him and bring up the cost because it is adding another window. Instead of just approving of it, he told me about the potential risks of tinting it and provided me his opinion. Ultimately, I opted out of tinting my sunroof and just stuck with my original plan. Being as clueless as I am, he could have approved of this and gotten more money from it, but he didn't. Truly appreciated and very trustworthy place to go. Like last time, he was very quick to respond, give me a quote, and schedule a time and date to tint my car. This time, I inquired via text message and a response was provided within minutes. I inquired about the quote and provided the make and model of my car. Already, he was more knowledgeable about my car windows than I was. He clarified my questions and provided me his opinions on which percentage might look best based on the look that I was going for. My interior is a beige color and he recommended me what he has seen to look nice with a lighter interior. At the shop, we all went out to see the car first. He clarified my questions and confirmed the percentages that I wanted again. Very thorough with deciding to see which one would look best and fit my preferences. Super quick and efficient process. Scheduling and Reminders: Efficient at baseline When I messaged to schedule an appointment, there was only one time slot left for the day that worked for my schedule. Luckily, the time worked for me too, so I took it. If there are earlier spots available, he will notify you in the event you wanted to reschedule. His schedule seems to get booked out fairly quickly, so just something to consider. - Side note: A reminder will be provided to you one day prior to the appointment. Additional Comments: Something I really like about this place is that the owner himself will be the one tinting each car. What I have observed is that the owner will mostly run the business, but push some of the jobs to other employees to actually do. (This goes for other business outside of the tint business too.) This is not to say that I wouldn't trust another person outside of the owner to do it, but it does put me more at ease that the owner participates in the service for each car that is worked on. I'm truly not one to trust anyone with my car for anything, but they have gained my trust here since the first experience. --------- Quality: Lovely 6-month Update on my Lexus: Amazing They are still looking and functioning beautifully like when I first got them. There's no bubbling, no streaks, no peeling, no fading observed. It's really just sheer perfection from these tints, which is why I put my trust in this business again for my new car. Price: Paying for the best quality When it comes to quality, I am willing to pay for it. Because my car came with a protective glass, it is already dark. I was provided the option to just tint the two front windows and that would be more inexpensive. This does mean that only the front two windows will have heat rejection though. I decided to tint all sides and the rear windshield to have that layer of heat rejection around the car. With that said, the price range was within $150 to $600. It's going to depend on the car, how many windows you tint, your choice of tint film, and perhaps other factors. This is a large range, but there are a lot of components used to dictate the price. For this quality, 100% worth it. read more

Omar from OJ Tint was able to help me determine how dark I want my tints and they look great. Appointment took about 1.5 hrs to get the front and back tinted! 10000% recommend. Thank you OJ Tint Studio! read more

I came here after my boyfriend's sisters car got tinted. My boyfriend was referred by his friends who only go to Omar for tinting services. I am from East Bay and did ask for lots of quotes from other places near me, but decided to book with OJ Tint Studio because my boyfriend highly recommended. It was also competitive pricing compared to other places I saw around the Bay Area. Omar booked my appointment quickly and recommended the specific type of material for me to suit my needs. My back windows were already tinted so he matched the front to the back. There was a seating area inside with snacks and water, but the wait didn't take long. I also watched Omar do some of the process and he is definitely a pro! I love the results and will definitely come back if I want to make my other windows darker! Definitely going to recommend this place to my friends/family. Thank you Omar for the great job! read more

I finally decided to try out OJ Tint Studio to tint my project Mitsubishi Eclipse, and I am so glad that I did. I knew OJ would do a great job with my vehicle the moment I knew he uses quality XPEL Ceramic Plus film. Using some of the top notch film says a lot about a business' pursuit to quality. I was so satisfied with the tint job on my Mitsubishi Eclipse because it's a convertible. None of the computer systems have my window shape available, meaning OJ had to perform custom cuts on my window film in order to get it to fit seamlessly. I looked at the end product and was amazed at how perfect the installation was. I enjoyed my time at OJ Tint Studio so much that I decided to bring more of my family's vehicles to him. His pricing is extremely reasonable when taking into account his precision, his high quality film, and his high efficiency. read more

I needed to get my Tesla Model 3 tinted because the interior gets extremely hot on sunny days. I had delayed this for some time due to the high quotes I received from various shops. Yesterday, I decided to look again for tint shops in my area. OJ Tint Studio had five-star ratings across all their reviews. I called at 2 PM for a quote, and the person on the other end was very friendly. He asked if it was alright to send the quote via text, which I appreciated. The quotes he provided were surprisingly reasonable, and he offered me three options to choose from. Since my schedule was tight this week, I inquired about when I could come in. He was able to fit me in early the next morning, even before the shop opened. I left my car in the lot and had to rush off to a meeting. An hour and a half later, I received pictures of my car with the windows tinted. I couldn't believe how quickly they worked at OJ Tint Studio! After my meeting, I returned to pick up my car and met Omar, the person I had spoken to on the phone. He was very professional and greeted me with a smile. When I saw my car, I was blown away by the quality of the tint material and the overall work. It looked like a completely different car with the tinted windows--it was love at first sight. Thank you, Omar, for the excellent service. It's clear that you take pride in your work. From the bright and clean shop to the outstanding service, you have truly impressed me beyond my expectations. read more

It's very rare to come across a business owner or employee that actually cares about the product they're selling and taking care of the whole customer experience, understandably so; times are hard for everyone. It was such a breath of fresh air to be a customer at OJ Tint Studio. In every single aspect, working with OJ tint was a pleasure. From communication with scheduling, to accommodating my last minute request, to the actual tinting job. My car looks great! Had a 1pm appointment and the task was completed by 3pm with a full retint on my Lexus IS350 - Truly satisfied with how it turned out! What stood out most was Omar's honesty. I bought my car with existing tints and had no idea what percentage it was or whether it was degrading. Before recommending anything, Omar assessed all the windows and told me the rear tints were actually still in good condition. He said I could keep them and just do the fronts if I wanted to save money - That right there told me he genuinely had my best interest in mind rather than just trying to upsell me. I ended up deciding to redo everything anyway because I wanted a seamless look under XPEL tints, but the fact that he gave me that honest assessment first made the decision easy. When it came to choosing between XPEL XR and XPEL XR Plus, Omar broke down both options clearly and helped me figure out what actually made sense for my needs. He also charged me a flat fee for tint removal instead of per window, which is a welcome change compared to other shops. Pricing was the best I found in the South Bay. I did my research across multiple XPEL installers in San Jose and Santa Clara and OJ Tint Studio came out on top, not just on price but on the overall package. Omar did the installs himself alongside his staff which says a lot - He's not just running a business from the back; He is hands on and clearly cares about the quality of work leaving his shop. Communicative, transparent, and just an overall smooth experience. Highly recommend OJ Tint Studio to anyone in the Bay Area! read more
