Omar was extremely knowledgeable about tint. As soon as I told him I needed my tint redone he asked "did you do yours with Jet Black tint?" And he knew right away that I wanted to remove the tint and put on a new one. Since it was a half I upgraded to a full back glass tint that stretches towards the top of the backseat. Definitely worth the upgrade. He also fixed the little window that was an eyesore because of how badly it was messed up from the previous tint shop I went to. Price was fair for the work. Requires multiple people to do the entire back glass and it turned out way nicer than it was before. If you are considering another "cheaper alternative," do yourself a favor and get your tint done right at this shop so you don't have to get it removed multiple times like I did. I've been going back and forth on if I wanted to tint my windows and for my 30th Birthday I said why not. So Happy Birthday to myself and thank you OJ Tint for making the process easy. I honestly thought that making an appointment would be 2-3 weeks out but I had sent a inquire via OJ's website and 10 minutes later I got a text from them asking for details about my truck. After agreeing on the type of films they had they were able to book me for an opening 2 days later on Friday afternoon. I was honestly shook it was that easy. I wasn't sure what I needed to prep before the installation as they didn't mention anything so I pulled up to the garage with a pretty dirty truck and stuff in the seats. Luckily that was no issue. I met with Omar and he explained what was legal and illegal for the tints, showed me some examples of what the end product could look like and told me how long it would took. After that I took my hour lunch across the street and came back to a newly tinted Tacoma. What was really nice too so I wouldn't mess up the curing process was he slapped a "Do Not Roll Down" sticker on the window buttons to remind me they were curing. Omar really knows his stuff and I couldn't have been more happy with how they came out. I forgot to mention they have a waiting area and cold drinks if you decide to wait it out in their little area. But yeah his hospitality and genuine care on what you want for your car made me feel confident him and his team would be giving me nothing but great quality. He also does some parts of the tint, which shows he's not just a boss, he's also a good role model. Plus knowing the boss of the company is working on your care gives you that ease of mind that he's not going to screw up. Service: A+ Previously, I had so many positive comments about the service and I'm back here to commend it once again. Yes, he is trying to run a business, but I'm convinced that he cares more about building that trust and the quality of the product that he is providing to his customers. My interior is a beige color and he recommended me what he has seen to look nice with a lighter interior. At the shop, we all went out to see the car first. He clarified my questions and confirmed the percentages that I wanted again. Very thorough with deciding to see which one would look best and fit my preferences. Super quick and efficient process. Scheduling and Reminders: Efficient at baseline When I messaged to schedule an appointment, there was only one time slot left for the day that worked for my schedule. Luckily, the time worked for me too, so I took it. If there are earlier spots available, he will notify you in the event you wanted to reschedule. His schedule seems to get booked out fairly quickly, so just something to consider. - Side note: A reminder will be provided to you one day prior to the appointment. Additional Comments: Something I really like about this place is that the owner himself will be the one tinting each car. What I have observed is that the owner will mostly run the business, but push some of the jobs to other employees to actually do. (This goes for other business outside of the tint business too.) This is not to say that I wouldn't trust another person outside of the owner to do it, but it does put me more at ease that the owner participates in the service for each car that is worked on. I'm truly not one to trust anyone with my car for anything, but they have gained my trust here since the first experience. --------- Quality: Lovely 6-month Update on my Lexus: Amazing They are still looking and functioning beautifully like when I first got them. There's no bubbling, no streaks, no peeling, no fading observed. It's really just sheer perfection from these tints, which is why I put my trust in this business again for my new car. Price: Paying for the best quality When it comes to quality, I am willing to pay for it. Because my car came with a protective glass, it is already dark. I was provided the option to just tint the two front windows and that would be more inexpensive. This does mean that only the front two windows will have heat rejection though. I decided to tint all sides and the rear windshield to have that layer of heat rejection around the car. With that said, the price range was within $150 to $600. It's going to depend on the car, how many windows you tint, your choice of tint film, and perhaps other factors. This is a large range, but there are a lot of components used to dictate the price. I had a customer at my work refer me to OJ Tint when I was looking to tint my Model 3. He was one of the cheaper ones quoted than the ones I had requested online, so I decided to go with them. OJ is the owner and operator of this amazing small business. I had him and his team tint my F-450 as soon as i received it from the Ford factory. 5% on the rears, 35% on the driver and passenger windows and 55% on the windshield. When you drive across the country as much as i do that windshield tint makes a world of difference. I had them go with the highest quality ceramic tint currently available on the market. I used Yelp to contact him and he responded quickly. We set an appointment and, unlike the doctor's office, he he was ready for me at my scheduled appointment time. This may not be a big deal for some people, but when you're constantly on the move like me, it matters. I could have left the truck there, but i decided to stay since he promised it would only be under two hours. OJ has a plush waiting room with a clean bathroom. The waiting room offers couches, complimentary chips, and water. There is a TV available if you choose to burn the time waiting that way. He finished my truck within the time he promised. Again, a big deal for someone on the move. OJ offers a limited life time warranty on his work. Which, i unfortunately had to put to use after the 1 week cure time. There was a slight blemish/ warping on the front windshield tint that was not extreme, but well within my field of view. I mentioned it to OJ and he immediately told me he wanted to make it right. I brought it by so he could look at it and he offered to fix it on the spot. I couldn't do it, but we made another appointment. He made sure the new appointment was completely convenient to me by opening earlier than his normal working hours to meet my schedule. Amazing service, above and beyond.
