It's disappointing to see that the quality of the window tint has worsened even further since my last review, 2 years ago (Nov 13, 2022). Since my original review, the bubbles on my windows have grown significantly, and the tint has developed additional ripples that affect visibility and overall appearance. I've uploaded new photos taken today (Nov 12, 2024) to show the progression of these issues. The rear window is still very blurry, and I'm unable to see what kind of vehicle is behind me, especially at night or in low visibility conditions. This has become a serious safety issue, as I can't clearly tell if there's an emergency vehicle, police car, or other potential hazards behind me without relying on my side mirrors. Considering the lifetime warranty is contingent on keeping a receipt (which is hard to track over many years), it's very frustrating. This company was a long-standing choice for my family, but based on my experience, we'll be looking elsewhere for our tinting needs. read more

Brand New Porsche Damaged. The interior rubber seals of the windows were quite literally cut out and left with jagged lines. Who in their right mind would DAMAGE the vehicle instead of applying the window tint. Absolutely zero stars. Don't go here unless you want your vehicle to be damaged. No attention or common sense to not damage the vehicle during the process is unbelievable. Indentations and dings into the leather door panels and metal accent panels were also done to my car, which go figure cannot be repaired or fixed and instead cost thousands to be replaced. Here is an idea, let your customers know that you're incompetent for the job. Would never recommend this place in a million years. read more

I brought my car here over 7 years ago and my windows are still good. Like the work . When I went it was $150 I believe which was the cheapest I could find. I have referred family members there and they like the work too. I recently had my bf go for his new car and they charged $200 now... This was the second time I've come to Tint Works Plus for a tint on a car. My first experience was December 2023 and was great! The tint looked good and overall not an experience I had any issues with. I came in this Tuesday for a tint on a different car and had a different experience. It was the same man from the last time I was there who was at the desk and he wasn't super friendly this time around. But whatever, I come back to pick up my car and the tint looks good. However, when I get home I noticed the cover of the passenger side door handle is broken. Picture attached. I've tried putting it back on but a little piece of it appears to have broken off and it won't stay anymore. Upon further investigation looking at the reviews this is not the first time cars have been damaged after receiving services from this tint shop. It would have been nice to have it been acknowledged or given a heads up about it. I would be very cautious and consider calling around before choosing this location. read more

It was the worst decision, I always go tint zone and aerowerkz for windows tint but this time both place are month wait so I called around the tint shop around my city this place are the only shop are no wait, It kinda raise a red flag but I was too eager to get it done ,I though what's the worst they can do with a windows tint ,oh boy was I wrong . I got the $500 ceramic tint and after they done I noticed the tints had lines of dots here and there , the owner said give like a week so it can complete dried up ,after 2 weeks later I took my car back they said it's normal and there nothing they can do about it . I went there 4 months ago for limo tint and a door lock actuator. 1 hour before closing i showed up to pick up my car. After 45 minutes in their office someone comes in. My car was 3/4 done. Door lock actuator, and 3 back windows in limo. Passenger and driver still not done. Ok, done. Ill come in another day to get the job done. I was paying by credit card. Low and behold, last minute, they told me their credit card machine wasn't working. I said ok no problem, gimme my keys and ill go to the ATM and get cash. 2 blocks away. NOPE! He said no, and he straight up drove me in his car to the ATM as if i was a criminal! That blew me away! And my door lock acuator. 1 minute after giving this guy $400 cash, was faulty. I was locked in my car for 10 minutes till i figured it out! I called the shop 2 minutes after releasing my car and no answer. I drove in front of their shop and saw the 2 mexican guys ignore my call! I plan on standing in front of this guys shop this week. I demand a refund for my 2 windows! read more

I don't really do many reviews; only when they're really good or bad. The owner/ store clerk was very disgruntled/ rude. They took me on short notice, which was much appreciated, but I ended up waited 2hrs past their quoted finish time. All not too much of an issue. The reason for the negative review, was due to the mess they left in my car, and damages. I can clean my car (vacuum excess tint film scraps, wipe down glue streaks), however they broke off the RCA plugs from my amplifier, mounted under my driver's seat. I spent about 3hrs today removing the amp, dismantling it, and repairing it myself. This was frustrating. I doubt they realized how much damage they caused, but do know that they noticed. read more

There's air pockets , scratches and old glue from the old tint on the new tint. Took it back and the owner was very rude and said that is an old used car. That it's not their fault. I have taken 4 of my cars here before so I decided to take my new truck there to get my windows tinted. When I picked up the truck everything seemed great once I got home I noticed that my side windows looked like they had spots like the window was sprayed with a spray bottle and left with out being wiped then the tint was applied over it. I took my truck back to them and showed the guy he then argued with me that it was from acid rain that caus the spots and then damaged the outside part of my window trying to scrub it off with some chemical. He told me he would fix it if I paid MORE money to remove then pay to have it retinted!!! what a joke this guy is! I took my 2019 Tesla and my 2022 Ifiniti to have the tint done and I'm very satisfied with the out come for both. DO NOT take your car here. Learn from my error. I took my car for tint and once I was given my car back, I noticed that they had damaged plastic parts of my interior (see photos). The attention to detail is horrible. As I was waiting in the waiting area I could hear an employee say "just put a piece a tape on it" (in Spanish). Didn't think much of it then I realized what that employee was talking about (see photo). They did not put back a part they had to remove. Thankfully I was able to put back in place. My car is from the late 90's. I understand the quality of the interior is more prone to break due to it being more plastic than anything. However, it doesn't give them the right to not advise me of the most minor damages. If you have a new or newer car just be cautious. My car is a beater that I just use to commute to work and back. I just finally wanted to treat myself to some tint. But I REGRET bringing it here. Learn from my experience. read more

Don't ever get your windows tinted here. This dude is a scam artist. Told me he needed to strip the old tint before he applies the new one. Come to find out later it wasn't even tinted. It was just colored glass. Also his work sucks. There was bubbling around my entire front windshield that never went away. On top of everything too he's a weirdo. That's why he's the only one around here that has 4 stars instead of 5. Every tint shop I go to said they have fixed this guys work before. Trust me avoid this shop. read more

I'm back and this time, it's for my new Tesla Model 3. Just as before I'm doing this to save "fuel" (i.e. electricity) by keeping the interior cool and not having the A/C work as hard to cool the cabin. However this time, I'm using ceramics tint which is more expensive BUT it does a better job. I've covered all windows and back glass roof. I might come back to do the windshield and front glass roof if I think it needs it. read more

DO NOT GO, THE OWNER IS RUDE AND A SCAMMER. I brought my car in for a tint job, the owner is rude. On the day of the appointment I dropped my car off and i had asked him to tint all the windows on my new tesla, when i came to pick it up he didn't do the roof and the front windshield, i had to bring it in the next day for him to finish it. Once i picked up the car, the tint had bubbles, it was all scratched up, there were gaps everywhere, on the front windshield the tint was cut short, my headliner was damaged from chemicals they use, the inside trim was scratched deep with razor blades, and the tint is cheap quality when he claims that you pay for good quality. When I went back for to get it fixed he refused to fix it, and wouldn't issue me a refund without removing the tint, and I didn't want to leave my car cuz I don't trust him not to damage it more, when I told him that imma have the charge cancelled through my card he ran over to my car, scratched up the inside causing more damage and he ripped my tint off. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This was THE WORST experience I have ever had. I was referred to this window tinting location. Before contacting, I was given a heads up that the owner has a very bad attitude and the worst customer service ever. I decided to give them a chance. I made the call and upon answering I was overwhelmed with terrible assistance however, I continued on and scheduled the appointment. I arrived for my appointment on 10/5 and as I am not a tinting expert, I began asking question. I knew what I wanted but didn't know anything about tinting. I was given no help. No responses. And barely any acknowledgment. I asked which tinting had black hues and tones because I DID NOT want brown or purple. The owner told me "none of them" which I'm assuming mean my none of the tinting had that color. I made a decision on the percent and handed over my keys. When I got my car back the windows were much darker than I had anticipated. However, I understood that I made the decision, however, I wish I had received an expert opinion. I got in my car and before I started backing up, I noticed that the tinting on my window had scratches on it. I went back to the owner and let him know. At this point he blamed me and said I did it and must've hit it. Obviously I didn't and I let him know that there was no way I could have scratched my window in the matter of 30 seconds. He said I should give it a couple of days and it would disappear. I agreed and drove home. Again, he is the expert. As I was driving home I noticed that every window in my car had scratches on it. DEEP scratches. There were tinting pieces in my backseat along with trash and bubbles in my rear window and to top it all off... my window tinting color is brown, the color I wanted to avoid. I called the very next day, and asked for this to be fixed. For $300, this was not okay. I drove down to the store to show him. With an attitude, the owner informed me that he could replace the damaged windows. The owner gave me much attitude because it was my decision, which I understand. I expressed that I understood. Then he tried telling me this was a "life lesson" for me and I should "learn from my mistakes". At this point I told him I didn't appreciate that. Out of anger, he said he was done with the conversation and would remove my window tinting and give me a refund. I agreed and attempted to make an appointment. But apparently he was conveniently over booked and he couldn't see me until 2 and a half weeks. At this point with his anger that was fuming, I didn't trust him removing anything from my car. His bad attitude, disrespectful demeanor, and careless customer service are the sole reasons I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
