My rear windshield was getting bubbly and more difficult to see through, so I knew it was time to get it fixed. I searched on Yelp and found Nogales Auto Tinting. They had fast availability and was able to give me a quote (very reasonable!) via phone for my car. On the day of the appointment, they allowed me to choose what amount of tinting I wanted and got right to work. They completed the job within 2-2.5 hours, which was pretty fast! I'm happy to say that it has been about 2.5 months now since the tinting was installed and there's still no bubbling to be found! My defogger is still working too! They were also true to the quoted price and didn't try to sell any other services. They give a 5 year warranty for their work and welcomed me to return if there were any issues with the installation. Took my Tesla Model 3. Serviced with 5% Vortex IR, ceramic, tint with a windshield 70% ceramic tint. The owner, Boris, greeted me with very fair prices and explanations about what different grades of tint meant since I legit had no idea, haha. So it was nice he took his time to explain everything. I saw a few of cars were ahead of me, so he quoted me a time for pick up. I appreciated him calling ahead of scheduled pick-up time the same day. When I arrived, he explained the work done, explained what to expect, and to return if any issues occurred. Thankfully, the job was perfect, and I haven't had any issues since the tint was installed. Very happy with the tint job Boris did on my Lexus - I purchased the vehicle with the film on the rear windshield starting to delaminate to the point where everything was so washed out you'd think it was raining outside. The film needed to be removed and replaced ASAP. Because of the defroster lines, I decided to have a professional do this, and I'm very glad I did. Contacted Nogales Auto Glass Tinting on yelp and was asked to bring the car by for an estimate, which I did the same day. It only took a few minutes for Boris to give me a quote that was lower than any of the other places I'd called. Plus, him wanting to look at the job beforehand gave me additional confidence in his ability to get it done without damaging the defroster lines. Two hours later, I picked the car up with the horrible old tint replaced, and what a difference - my ability to see out the back has been restored! I was recommended to come to this place for tinting and I wasn't disappointed. It's a family affair business owned and operated by Boris with 20 years plus experience and his son also name Boris. The last place I went for tinting they really screwed it up by installing a cheap quality ceramic tint that left dot like pattern that looks like water spots and could not be removed unless you replace the tint. So needless to say Boris successfully removed the cheap tint and replaced it with the highest quality tint in the market. With Nogales auto tint you will not have that problem because they only install the best tint and have Boris show you a demonstration on how the tint repels heat and UV rays. I did not get my car tinted here, however I went here to get it tinted. He was very very nice and gave me ample time to decide on the tints I wanted. he showed me the ceramic tint and said it was the best, however its expensive and he does not carry the clarity i wanted. I ended up going to another shop since I wanted the nano ceramic tint. When I was there be even put a sample of the tint on my window and wanted me to be genuinely happy. He did not rush me or force me with getting my tints done there. He just wanted me to be happy. If you do not want the nano ceramic tints, I highly recommend him. read more

I had the windows on my 2014 Honda Civic tinted last weekend and I waited to do my review until I could make sure they turned out good. Boris did a great job and I am happy with how the windows turned out I followed his directions about not rolling the windows down for two days, in fact I think I left them up for a full 4 days just to be sure. He advised me not to touch any bubbles as they would go away within a few days, but the windows never got any bubbles. I came from out of town to visit family and just picked a place on Yelp with good reviews. I feel that the price was reasonable. I called the day before and Boris quoted me a price, and didn't try to upcharge me after the work was done. He was patient with explaining my options. I arrived at his shop right when he opened. I was in and out in only about 2 hrs and the work was quality. Boris was very professional and he took his time and got everything right. They did a great job with the tint, cuts are nice, gaps are small, and I didn't see any air bubbles. Now, why give them two stars? Because of everything else they did after installing the tint. The windows were not cleaned after installing, there was oily residue all over the windows and half-assed wipe marks all over the glass. I couldn't even enjoy the tint because I was so bothered by the wipe marks all over my car. I quickly went home and washed my car. Also, they didn't fully clean the inside of my doors, water marks everywhere, drip marks on my aluminum trim, and little dark water spots all over my leather. But that's not all, they put my rear head rests backwards and ruined the leather. Now there's wrinkles and creases on both head rests. C'mon, you can't just do a good job on the tint and call it a day. Everything matters. Would I recommend them to a friend? Yes but please stay with your car, make sure they clean up after themselves, make sure your windows look spotless when you drive off, and make sure they don't ruin anything on your car. read more

I came in here today before 11am to have my car tinted. Boris had two cars ahead one was finishing up and another car that was just two front windows to be tinted. My car was the third in line and he assured he he would get it done after those. I came by 3pm and he had another car pulled in doing tinting after the two he finished. I didn't say anything and decided to come back later at 5pm to pick up my car that should have been done. Upon arrival he had a 5th car inside different and he kept taking in jobs and putting mine aside. Long story short I lost a day waiting for him to tint my car. He apologized and said he was going to do it next. Let's be realistic, who wants to be the last car done on a Sunday when it's been hot all day and you know the best effort is not going to be out and just rushed. I decided to try this place out for the decent reviews it had, but I could have had it tinted else where cheaper and just as good quality. I straight out told Boris that it is not right what he did and kept asking if I wanted to get it tinted. I asked for my keys back and I will be taking my car down to Rosemead; California tint shop. What some small business don't realize is that time is money and time can never be bought. I lost over 6 hours waiting and I had many other errands I could have done with the car putting on alarm, off road lights and etc. I would say that if you decide to do business here wait for your car and at the same time you will most likely see what happen to me get done with other customers cars being pulled aside for other quick walk in jobs. read more
