Beautiful store with lots of options, if they don't carry what you want they will order for you. Willing to go above and beyond to make your knitting dreams come true!! Cannot begin to explain how lovely this shop is in every way. I started going there a few months ago when I decided I wanted to try knitting, I had NO idea about anything so I went there with only a picture in my mind of what I wanted to make. Kelly (the store owner) helped me pick out the right size needles, and when they didn't have all the colors of yarn I needed for my project, she offered to order me the right one to come with her next order so it would be a bit cheaper. She also set me up with Dawn, one of the instructors, who taught me the ins/outs of basic knitting form. Dawn even gave me her number so I could text her with any more questions/with picture updates of my project. Kelly and her store have also helped me with other things, including me showing up one day with a GIANT mess of yarn, 1000+ yards long, incredibly tangled that I just could not continue to try unravel and make into smaller balls. My grandmother brought it over from India. Kelly and a few other women spent two whole days working their magic to turn it into something usable!! And when I told her I was having a medical procedure done the next day, Kelly even offered to drop it off at my house so I wouldn't have to drive. I would say more but don't want to turn this review into a novel. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

You know that feeling when you walk into a store and feel like you are a burden to the staff? Like you aren't wanted there and/or are a nuisance? Well, that is the feeling I had from the very moment I stepped in. And, let me tell you - there are a number of similar reviews from other customers experiencing the same thing. So, the owner needs to learn about customer service, then hire the right folks and train them properly. I'm sure the owner will post a response that defends the awful staff and makes silly excuses- so I'm waiting for that :) I will never spend a penny here and would not recommend wasting any time here. Unless, of course, you love the hype of this place and want to get cute little photos to post on social media. Then, maybe this is your place!

I have also been turned off by the lack of customer service each time I go. Several staff members will be seated and uninterested or unhelpful when you ask a question even for a specific product. Of…read morecourse, when you shop at this level of premium (often imported) yarns, the price point is a bit steep, but that's just the truth of paying fairly for unique animal based yarns. If you're in a store like this for yarn it is a great indication of how you want to expand your horizons as a fiber artist because sourcing is a large component we can oversee since conglomerate yarn is so readily accessible. Big industry yarn its not always the best option to support the field as a whole or for wearing. If you are a beginner fiber artist, just go and see the splendor of seeing this many coveted yarns in one place. I would characterize their selections as deeply saturated, vibrant, textured, and elaborates on different shades and tints of a single color (which gets serious when you are looking for something specific). All their employees are trained to help guide you throughout the maker's process. When you buy your skein of yarn, they even wind it for you, which is such an essential service I really appreciate it.
