You order from the counter and they give you number. Drinks are self served for coffee, fountain, or water. In a fridge next to the order station is orange juice, apple juice, bottled water, and milks (regular and chocolate). Since this was my first time, I ordered the flight of 3. I asked the employee for their favorite - chicken and waffles - and also ordered Banana Love and Grilled Cheese and Bisque. It was definitely a mix of flavors - sweet, savory, and hearty. The ambiance is upbeat. Playing top 40 type of music, folks are dressed comfortably, and the tables are a bit too close together but can easily to accommodate larger groups. Chicken and waffles. Had this one first. It served more like a main meal. Chicken was juicy, a bit more breading than expected but was easy to take it off. It was served with syrup and some sort of mayo/thousand island type mix. Grilled cheese & bisque. Had this one next. Should've been first because it had more of an appy feel. Waffles were nice and crispy, cheese was perfectly melted. I used the bisque for dipping but the also provided a spoon in case you want to continue on with it. Banana Love. Saved this one a dessert. The Nutella was pretty thick and a bit overpowering. The whipped cream was really good and banana looked and tasted fresh. Overall, very good and will eventually eat my way through the menu. The menu also offers sandwich type meals where the waffle acts as the bun. Those seem good for a real lunch.

Also ordered the Nutella and strawberry waffles for my son and an à la cart order of 2 eggs over medium. He enjoyed his waffle but it became overwhelmingly sweet extremely fast so beware! Unfortunately the griddle or pan the eggs were cooked on wasn't cleaned nor seasoned properly bc he took one bite and instantly noticed a "metal flavor" only for us to flip both eggs over and can physically see metal color covering the bottom of both eggs. Super disappointing but we notified the staff and they offered to remake them. Of course my son wasn't trusting and chose not to have them remade. We were refunded $3.50 for the eggs.

Husband ordered me a specially designed cake 8 days prior to my birthday, and they quoted him $100…read more It was a 6" cake. The cake looked alright, however, they did not fully follow the instructions provided when we ordered. Design details were missed, and it truly looks like they rushed on the cake. For $100, we expected more out of it. The cake itself did not taste great - it was very dense, and the filling they used was not what we ordered. He asked for a vanilla cake with a whipped cream and fresh strawberry filling. They had used a white buttercream instead, and also put an inedible fondant covering the entire cake. This turned what was supposed to be a light and airy strawberry shortcake into more of an overly sweet and dense cake, I do want to note that they did not ask any follow up questions about what to use for the cakes icing or anything of the sort (which I find strange especially at this price point for a small cake) when my husband sent in the request. They also told him they put candles in the box, but there were none. We tried to reach out to the business to resolve this offline, and they did not respond. We love supporting local businesses, but unfortunately this one did not hit the mark.

This place is more known for cakes so not a huge deal. I got a cookies n cream cupcake and homestyle cookie (chocolate chip cookie w/dulce de leche filling). Cupcake was a little dry, but I will say they are very generous with frosting portion on the cupcakes (almost same amount if not more than the bread). Frosting had a good flavor but because cupcakes sit in a cooled display case it was very very thick (solid). Had to wait a bit for it to thaw out. Homestyle cookie wasn't crazy for either. I asked the employee helping me if had a a lot of filling/if the dulce de leche made the cookie "too sweet" but she assured me it didn't. It wasn't for me (unfortunately threw both away after a bite). It was a lot of filling and almost just overpowering, to each their own. Customer service was fine. I probably wouldn't try it again.

Food Quality This Latino fusion spot truly delivers on…read moreflavor and creativity. The Bichota cocktail was a standout--sweet, refreshing, and with just enough of a kick to keep you sipping slowly. The Old Fashioned was equally impressive: sweet yet balanced, served in a stylish glass with a unique holder that made the experience feel elevated. For food, the chicharrón with fried yuca and tostones was perfection. The pork was fried to a crisp golden shell without being greasy, and seasoned just right--not too salty, but enough to make every bite crave-worthy. The yuca and tostones were cut to the perfect thickness for even cooking, with a satisfying crunch outside and tender inside, especially when dipped into their garlicky sauce. The cheese sticks are an absolute must-have--crispy outside, oozy inside, and dangerously addictive. And the arepas? Exceptionally good--stuffed with beans, cheese, beef, and sweet plantains for that perfect salty-sweet balance. Every plate showed attention to texture, seasoning, and presentation. Price Considering the quality of ingredients, creative plating, and generous portions, the prices felt fair for a fusion dining experience. The cocktails were crafted with care and worth every penny. Appetizers could easily be shared, making it easy to get variety without breaking the bank. Environment We sat outside and it was amazing for groups, dates, and inside it is super cool. The décor is not fancy but really fun Austin style. There is a section bar where they play music which I want to try. Service The service was cool and amicable. It looks the server was new but he did give recommendations. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great pairing suggestions. Dishes came out at a good pace, and drinks were refreshed quickly. You could tell the staff was proud of the food they were serving, which made the whole experience even better. Overall: If you're looking for a place where Latin flavors meet creative execution, this spot is worth the visit. Come hungry, order a mix of small plates, and don't skip the cocktails--or the garlic sauce.

These are local people who have been using the parking at least over 20 years who want to walk and enjoy the river. Folks who live or work in the area. I'm not surprised it's closed. There have never been any signs saying people can't park in the area nor is the points parking spaces clearly marked. A hidden sign - behind some brush - was put up and peoples vehicles started getting towed. I don't know how Many cars but a whole lot. And a whole lot of local folks who may have considered this place if it re-opens but won't now. They even towed a handicapped car. An older gentleman who couldn't make it to his car quickly enough to stop them. He had no money on him and no cell phone leaving him stranded but for the grace of strangers. Any owner of a local food place does this to what would be his key clientele, does not deserve the clientele. Glad the place is closed and hope it stays that way. Oh yeah. Who tows people in parking spaces not in use because your restaurant is shut? Asshat. Do not ever go here. By the way. The next day? There was a cop car sitting in the parking area assuming to stop further towing. The parks and recreation dept received many complaints and they were shocked with his actions.
