I waited for over and hour in the pedicure chair before someone came and started on my nails. The tech started on my nails and abruptly left me sitting there. I saw the receptionist asking almost begging for someone to do my pedicure. I had to go to another salon that stayed open later... The receptionist said that the tech who started on my nails had a burn on her finger and it burst. I needed to wait. Why schedule me knowing you could not accommodate me. I will never return to salon and if I'm ever asked about I will not refer anyone as I work in the Battery in a Director role. Be more honest and transparent. Tell the truth, don't have people waiting and begging your team to service a customer who you confirmed and scheduled an appointment with.

When I got to the pedicure chair immediately noticed a complete difference in their massage chairs, they are wider and more comfortable than previous places I have gone to. I was offered a complementary drink. They have soda and water, complementary and wine if your service is over $60. It was a little too early for me for wine so I just opted on water, but I do appreciate them offering something. There is a full bar set up which was really nice so if they were to ever do you know a little mocktails or cocktail that would be even better but you know the overall aesthetic of it was really really nice very classy not overwhelming at all not giving like a club vibe. I was handed the pedicure menu and I decided on their spring offering which was a mint CBD pedicure and it was exactly what I needed. My muscles have been so so sore from working out and this pedicure was exactly what I needed. I'm leaving feeling so much better than when I came in. And the massage that she gave OMG I almost fell asleep. The pedicure starting out is $65 and it is for 55 minutes but it felt a little longer but that's just because it was so good. Of course I had extra add-ons the gel polish and acrylic two toes so my service came out to $98 and I will say it was $98 well spent the atmosphere was quiet very little noise. It was early. I came in at 11 AM but overall even with people moving around, it was still very minimal noise and a relaxing experience. I think her name tag said Nina if I can remember correctly but she let me know they've been open for 8 months. I definitely plan on coming back because 10 out of 10 I will recommend. I also plan to get my nails done in the future. My nails were already done. Tony, owner of the family business is straight up about running the business. I remember when we met I brought him a 6-Pack of beer from his native land. He appreciated the gesture. My wife has used him before, he does a gOOd job. I really like they way her hands and feet looks once completed. Everyone in the shop is well trained and professional. I happen to connect with Lee who is the one I have chosen for my pedicures. She is strong and her massages are thorough. I tell her when she is done, that my feet look "brand new!" It makes her laugh and she takes her time when her work is recognized. We communicate with an understanding although her English is not the first language. I was one in the past to always pass on taking and moment to having my feet massages, nails clipped and feet scrubbed. But as my wife has said in the shop, "he puts holes in the sheets with those sharp toenails!!" LMAO - let's be honest, we all have been there but in this case, we as men have to step up to the plate and spend time grooming our bodies to lower the cost on sheet replacement (hah). Lee, my go to person takes her time and gives me the attention that is necessary to get the job done. If it goes after then what I anticipate, then I will let her know. it's that simple. The vibe is cool for the most part, I've learned the best time to go is in the morning. But that is of course, based on what my wife books and if I am available. I am heavy into music so I bring my headphones into the shop and tune out for those 60 seconds of feet pampering. They shop normally has a food show playing in the background like elevator music but it a lot of repeat of the same thing, so I zone into my deeper self. One Exception, businesses who give exceptional service and have 5 stars are growing at a fast rate towards perfection, it does not mean they are perfect. If you have a favorite technician working on your soles and things take a turn towards your tolerance level - remind them that you are not in a rush and prefer to move at a slower pace. Each color is assigned a number and you just let them know the number you are going with. I opted for the least expensive pedicure( I think there are about 3 options). There were no bells and whistles. A soak, cleaning of feet, shaping of toe nails, and polish. It was sufficient for my needs. The staff was friendly and did a great job.
