This time, I purchased a bunch of birds including baby ducks as usual, but when I got home, I realized that one of the ducks was crippled. It's got a twisted, malformed leg and it's limping. You would have thought "then go return it and get a new one, or go get your money back" I thought the same, in fact I did. You know what they said? Sorry we can't take responsibility for that. If you pay full price for something, you expect the best quality. If you buy a defective product of any kind, it would only make sense that they would refund you and take it back, or at least replace the product to a non-defective one. They did none of that. "Sorry, we don't take them back". I didn't pay full price to be stuck with your defective inventory. It's crazy how 100 good experiences can all collapse to the ground with a single bad experience. All of a sudden, the store doesn't leave a good impression in me. I don't just buy animals for the heck of having them. I also breed them, and good genes are key.

I had to let the cashier know that I hadn't seen my dog yet, so I couldn't choose a tip amount. I like to tip on services, but I'm not going to tip for grooming before seeing my dog and making sure there weren't any issues. The groomers would receive more/better tips if the pickup process was adjusted.

The owners were amazing!…read more What drew me into the shop was the knowledge that they were trying to facilitate the re-homing of an old beardie for free which shows their commitment to animals in general. They were patient and answered all of our questions as we have never owned a bearded dragon before (knowing that we wouldn't be making a purchase that day). They let my girls and I hold a beautiful baby dragon named Mojave. They even showed my girls cool things throughout the store and let them feed some lettuce the to a few birds. After my little ladies show that they can be responsible for their tasks over the next week or so, we will be back to get a bearded dragon and the whole set up. Their prices seemed very reasonable. I mentioned it to the employee, but even switching stations wouldn't guarantee better pressure, so I stayed since my 75+ lb pup was already soaked. What bothered me is the employee's sanitizing hose had much stronger pressure than the one we're given. With the wash being timed, weak pressure makes it hard to properly rinse a double-coated dog and still have time for conditioner (skipped this step) and drying. The spray-nozzle options are also inconsistent and lack real flow control. Management: Please improve the water pressure on customer hoses so we can actually bath/rinse/dry our dogs well within the limited minutes.
