Love it here! Indianapolis is definitely up and coming and this bar is very trendy. However, I am docking it down a star b/c the place is tiny. Get here early if you have a party bigger than 3. Most of the seating is at the bar, but there are a few tables. The drinks are great and I think to be fairly priced (a little more expensive than other places downtown) at about $8-12. They do have some bottled beers as well which were inexpensive. As for food, they have small plates which are from the restaurant Recess. Amazingly tasty! Ambiance is great, can be a little loud, but to be expected from a bar that is playing music videos. I would definitely come back here again. read more

Welcome to the Mass Ave scene, Tini! I was visiting some friends in Indy when they took us to meet others at the new video bar. It reminds me of a small scale Mini Bar if compared to Chicago's Boystown (without the half naked bartenders). Tini's has a pleasant, quaint feel with plenty of TVs to watch music videos play while conversing. The bar is nicely lit with LED lights and staff were not only friendly but easy on the eyes. The cocktails were tasty (I had the Cosmo which threw me off since it was transparent versus pink), however, our entire party's drinks were filled far from the rim. Bit of a disappointment for roughly $10 a drink. Otherwise, nice ambience and crowd. Hope you like Lady Gaga since she seemed to be 90% of the videos. read more

I love the concept of the names of the drinks being based on music and it just adds an extra smidge of fun. They have lots of cool specialty drinks and shots. The girlscout cookie was so tasty. It really tasted faithful to its name! The white gummy bear was pretty good also; the (chocolate ?) pretzel- not so much. Also love the Purple Raintini. I went to Tini for the first time tonight with friends to celebrate marriage equality. It's a tight squeeze and I had to wait a bit for my first drink, but it was a huge celebration on a Wednesday night, so that's to be expected. They opened up the other side of the bar not long after I got there and the service sped up considerably. It was reminiscent of my time in Rome. Loud and in your face while being trendy and always interesting. The drink menu is lengthy, but my first whiskey sour wasn't very good. My second, from a different bartender, was fantastic (except they don't use egg white). I imaging the first bartender was overwhelmed given the unusual Wednesday crowd (yay gay!) I assume more staff was called in and arrived as they could. The cocktails seemed reasonably priced and the crowd was lively and entertaining. The decor is aesthetically pleasing and comfortably trendy. They also have a nice patio that overlooks Mass Ave. The air was filled with chatter and music that was playing from the multitude of flat screens. It was definitely an experience. Example: I had an amazing Pumpkin Spice Martini that tasted like an alcoholic Starbucks drink. Every bartender I've ever met there has been super friendly and always answered any questions I had about the martini list. A really great spot for pre dinner drinks. They have a great cocktail menu and the bartenders were really nice. I had a French 75, which is one of my favorite drinks, and it was made just right. Before my first visit here, it used to be half it's size (which is part of the fun of the name) but it has grown to double it's size (and popularity) for various reasons. First, awesome service. Went for drinks after work one night. The martini selection is good, with options for whatever you're in the mood for. My first choice was tinibubbles (Ketel One vodka, champagne, pineapple juice, and one of the largest blackberries I've ever seen!) This was a nice, not too sweet, martini that hit the spot. Next round ended up being the key lime option. This was pretty sweet but enjoyable. The atmosphere is fun here. Love the red bar and the music videos playing all along the wall. The place is small, but they've done a great job of making it work! They are in the process of changing their food menu so it took us a while to find something they had but ended up with the hummus plate and the mac&cheese. When I went up to them and told them they had bad service they were rude to me and said I should "check myself" because they were short staffed after one of their employees died from the FedEx shooting. Honestly, I would say 98% of people I know LOVE Tini... including myself. If packed, tiny places aren't your thing though... probably not the best place for you (indoors) but the outdoor seating is spacious (and just as lively, I promise you). I love tini. I basically live there considering how often I go. The atmosphere varies on the night but its always a good time. Their signature cocktails are all excellent and unique but I usually stick to Stella Artois, tequila shots, and vodka tonics though. All of the bartenders and bar backs are so friendly and fun, they're the reason I come back! Here is what the crowd is like on each day/night. Sunday: Sunday fun day. When its nice out the patio is crowded and people are constantly going in and out. The party goes on all night and it gets pretty wild. Monday-Wednesday: Usually pretty chill and lighter crowds. Ollie's airs RuPaul's Drag Race on Monday nights so when that is over, people from Ollie's come to Tini. Thursday: With Metro next door having karaoke, people usually go back and forth between Metro & Tini. Its pretty busy and sometimes the dance floor upstairs is open along with both sides of Tini. Friday: Both sides and the dance floor are always open and its super busy with people going between Tini and Metro. I feel like on Friday a lot of straight girls come in here and get really drunk. Saturday: Saturday is usually just as busy if not busier than Fridays. Just like on Thursdays and Fridays, people are going back and forth between Metro and Tini plus other Mass Ave bars. read more

Expect to get elbowed in the back a few times if sitting at the bar or gently pushed aside if standing elsewhere.
