I came in with an old dip manicure and luckily she was able to get it off because it was pretty thin - just be aware that you may want to try taking it off yourself before coming here. Overall, I thought my mani/pedi was fairly pricey for what I got, but that also included the cost to take off the gel. I'd recommend tho for sure!

I told her four separate times they were crooked, they were too long and they are not the shape I asked for. She felt as though all of this was considered good quality service that was worthy of money. I then asked other techs to please provide me with fingernail clippers so I could cut them down. They would not provide me with that and instead another tech said he would fix it. I asked that he please file them down. The filing created more narrow nails and was filed so narrowly that he was filing the skin under my nails (see pictures). While he was fixing my nails, the tech who initially did my nails, confronted me then proceeded to complain about me the entire time (yes, the entirety of the time my nails were being re-filed). Gross customer service. I did still pay for the nails, as I felt it was the right thing to do. But no apologies and terrible, terrible experience. Please do not waste your money here. Please remember when you go somewhere for a service, you are allowed to request for the service to be quality. You are giving them money for the service, so they should deliver accordingly. That's okay to do. This entire situation was not ok. Do better.

Every spot I had gone to/tried to go to said no to doing the gel removal or simply would not respond to my calls/messages. It had become such an inconvenience and I was ready to give up hope until a friend recommended Clayton Nail Spa (spoiler alert -- they did the dang job). I did a walk-in around 2 PM on a Sunday and I received service within 5 minutes. They have a full staff that is really on their A-game all the time (I was there for almost 2 hours and paid attention to their workflow). They seem to have a handful of regulars and are really polite to clients (I witnessed a girly unload her entire life story onto a worker, unprompted, and the staff respectfully let her talk at them the entire time). The lady who worked on my nails was very sweet and chatted with me the entire time, explaining what she was doing and why. She really went above and beyond with removing the gel nails as carefully as possible, offering to do additional services and not pushing when I said no, and meticulously grooming my cuticles and buffing my skin. The pricing was fair and she was very transparent about the cost of each service before getting started. I'm not a big nail salon person because I'm quite frugal about these matters, but I would absolutely come back here for any nail service needs in the future.

Nail polish was left all over mt hands and cuticles so I asked her to touch it up and she responded "If you wanted your cuticles done I would've done them for $10 extra." Honestly the worst full set of acrylic nails & gel polish ever. Each nail is super thick and she kept piling on the gel polish and a clear top coat. The nails are inconsistently shaped, some are even lumpy and as you can see from the photos the sides are not smooth or fully painted. The design I chose was too difficult for her so I simplified it for her and it looked just OK. Linda got gel polish on my finger and proceeded to use a nail file to file it off, hurting me and damaging my skin. I mentioned it to her and she said "I have to use the file to get the gel polish off your finger," and did it again! Ouch! I went immediately to dinner at my boss's home, and tried hide my hands as much as possible, it was so embarrassing. I made an appointment with my regular nail salon for this weekend to have this taken off and start from scratch. I was also surprised that she started my appointment and then mid-manicure, went over and worked on another woman. She did this twice while I sat there waiting for her. I won't be back.
