The bf and I came for a mani pedi combo. Men's mani pedis are 35, women's are 30, which is pretty strange since men don't get colored polish usually. When I walked in I noticed that have no name brand polish, absolutely none. Most places will at least have one display with a few of this season's colors for whatever brand they use. They had all no brand, $1 polish. As another yelper observed, I also saw the manicurists add thinner to the polishes. So, in addition to using the cheap 1 dollar polish you buy at Walgreens, they ALSO use thinner. On the good side, they did give a good 3 minutes of arm and leg massages with the mani pedi, which is more than what some places give. Less than 24 hours later, my polish has already chipped. This is the best nail experience I've had in STL in a year. They said they had a renovation 2 months ago so the place had new furniture, chairs and a fresh coat of paint. Our group of 3 were seated immediately on a Saturday morning so they were staffed for traffic. The pedi and mani were great and looked wonderful! One knock on stars because my dip mani lasted for a week and a half which is less than average than dips I received in the past. read more

Horrible! Super slow on Gelish. Sloppy job, look was very unclean. I had to tweak the tech throughout the entire process & that's annoying when going to a salon where techs are expected to be experienced or at least knowledgable. My Gelish was so sloppy I could not live with it......I typically don't like to be petty and complain but I HAD to go back the next morning and have them start completely over. This was not done without a nice scalding from management. She was sure to state, "Next time its on you." Good part about that comment; I will NEVER be back. A few things: 1. They were quite rude to my Chinese friend. The old lady kept speaking rudely, pulling my friend's arm, and not allowing her to look at the gel swatches. 2. They demand that we pay before they did our nails, presumably because they intended to do a horrid job. 3. My gel manicure is really bad. A few nails are not even painted all the way to the top, and others are all different lengths and shapes (I asked for square and like 3 are squared shaped) I will not be coming back, which is a shame because I used to like this place. Unfortunately I think they are only kind and good to customers they already like. Waste of $25. read more

Stopped by here today after a bad experience at another place and it's 2 minutes from my place. Compared to a lot of other nail places in St. Louis, they have a great interior, friendly staff, and give great pedicures. I felt confident that all the tools were clean (primary issue with my EX pedicure shop), and the staff was very nice. As mentioned by another yelper, they have a large parking lot on the side which is a definite perk for South Grand. My feet look great, feel great, and I will definitely be back! (4 stars because I had to wait for 40 minutes... don't come by on a Saturday afternoon if you're in a hurry, but I think that goes without saying) read more

For $32 you can get a pedicure in a box. The lady was struggling to make the sea salt and cream stretch for both legs and feet. They used the same tools on the next person and do not wash them or disinfect them. None of the tools are brand new. I watched the ladies put them right back in the cart. They do not line the tubs for pedicures. The massage chairs are controlled by the staff not by you. This is a sad excuse for a nail salon. Instead of being cheap and watering down their nail polish spend time making the experience better. The towel from the previous person was left and my mom was about to get her feet done. I asked them to get a new towel and they tried to say it was new but it was the same towel with the red stain on it. read more

Very thorough and meticulous. She took an incredible amount of time clearing out dead skin around my cuticles. They are not super friendly and chatty which I actually like. I like to just zone out and read my gossip magazines not feel like I have to make small talk with someone I don't know. I only gave 4 stars because they don't use OPI but their gel is awesome and stays put for weeks. read more

I had a Mani pedi done. The service was excellent. I had some pretty gnarly ingrown toenails and the man performing the service was very thorough and gentle. The Mani and pedi was only $30.00 which I found extremely reasonable and is definitely a motivator in choosing this business again. Everything started off badly. The nail tech informs me as soon as I sit down ,"if any one asks if you paid already you say yes,this is between you and me!" So I'm already baffled!!! I'm wondering if she is stealing or if the entire shop is shady!!!!! So, as she was doing my nails I asked her if she could file my nails down just a bit! She tells me NO! She said she would use the machine or cut them and its $3. I said, "i would like them filed because I only want them a tad shorter." She continues to tell me No! A NAIL SHOP THAT REFUSES TO FILE YOUR NAILS! That's a first for me!!!!! PURE LAZINESS! It wasn't even about the money! I would've paid the $3 to have them filed. This woman wanted to take the short cut...so she got cut short! I am usually a great tipper....but I only tipped her $3! That was all that her laziness is worth! Then after all of that the whole shop talks about me in Vietnamese!!! How do I know you ask? I am learning Vietnamese through Rosetta Stone currently! I got my nails dipped here yesterday for the first time. By this morning, already 5 of my nails had cracked & broken so I went back this afternoon & she fixed them. I asked her why she thought they broke & she had no clue. It is now 3 hours later from when I got them fixed the second time & another nail has cracked. After spending almost $70 on a spa pedicure and gel manicure all my gels peeled off within about two hours. They were already closed when it happens and luckily someone at the WONDERFUL Morgan Ford Spa were able to help me since I had a 5 am flight to a wedding the next day. I just went in to say something and all they said they would do was re do my service. Since my nails were already redone I asked for a credit and they refused. Wonderful nail spa! This place is very clean. the autoclave all metal equiptment and spray down all other equiptment in front of you. They have great prices and a wonderful staff. My favorite nail place close to home! I was unsure about this place at first due to its location near Grand @ Cherokee but after my first visit i'm hooked. The ladies (and gents) do a great job and are super personable and nice. There's flat screen TV's and the massage chairs are ah-mazing on your back. Also, mani/pedi is only $30 here, one of the cheapest i've found. If you live near South Grand and need your nails done this is the place! This place is one on the best places (if not the best) to get your nails done in the city. Their staff is very friendly and the always do such a great job. I could see maybe having to wait on the weekends because they are super busy then, but you can always make an appointment if you are worried about that. I only go for pedicures. My biggest complaint with other places is that it takes forever and I have other things to do than sit waiting for my toes to look good. So this place is good. They are friendly, they are fast and my feet look good. No frills, no extras - in and out. That's an A+ as far as I'm concerned. This place is horrible. Went there on a Monday at 10:30a, they opened at 10, they said there was no one there to do my mani pedi. I felt like they turned me away because I was a man. I was looking right at a lady getting her pedicure was the only customer there and 2 other woman working there weren't doing anything just turned me away.
