It's a pitty that they have to be lumped together with at least two of their co-workers who are awful.) I needed a prescription transferred to another CVS because I was traveling: eventually, the CVS in the town I was visiting called to let me know that they made multiple phone calls to the Orland CVS and weren't getting any help from them. They informed me that they were literally told by the Orland pharmacist that he "didn't have time for this" before he swiftly hung up on them. Don't have time for this? This is your job! Thankfully, I wasn't in immediate need of my medication, but I would have been in a very bad predicament if I was. I recently called to fill a prescription and as soon as he asked what day I wanted to pick it up and I'd responded, he hung up. There was a very fast "we'll have it filled by tomorrow," and then the click of a dead line. No goodbye, no thank you for your business, no chance for me to ask the questions I had to confirm he had marked the right medication for refill (they've gotten it wrong before). On top of that, he completely ignored my opening statements that I don't believe it's possible to get this medication by "tomorrow." It's quite particular and I always call it in with two weeks left of my supply because they usually need to order it. So, I'm left feeling that they likely chose the wrong prescription to refill and that it won't be done when they say it will (even if they did get the medication correct). I play this game with them every three months and it's such a hassle. But, being the only CVS in town, which is the preferred pharmacy for my insurance, I have no choice.

Normally I'm not a Walgreens customer. I have most of my prescriptions at the Walmart pharmacy. But…read morethis time I was here to get some of my foodie pictures printed for a friend that doesn't have email to I can't just send him my foodie pics via email. This Walgreens is located in the south end of town, just across the street from the Wendy's on South Main Street. Lots of parking. I just had to wander a little to find where they did the photo printing. I found the place and uploaded my pics from a drive. It's not instant printing, prob took a little over an hour. I went over across to the Wendy's and got something to eat while I waited. One thing I noticed here at Walgreens, the price of printing regular 4x5 prints is TWICE the price I get them done at Walmart. There I can just upload them from home and it just .13 cents each, here at Walgreens it's like .23 cents each. That's not a big deal if I'm only printing a few, but if you were doing a big print order like say 50 pictures, that's gonna add up to a bit of money. I was satisfied with the accuracy of the prints and the color and exposure looked good. But, I think if I need photos printed again, I'll stick to the Walmart.

This month the pharmacist put a hold on it. Had to come back in an hour when he advised me that he would no longer fill my prescription if my doctor did not call him and explain why he prescribed this drug and what the long term plan is. I asked him twice if he had contacted my doctor and he said yes. Called my doctors office and no record of any request. Been on this drug for 15 years, picking up at Walgreens for about 8 years. Biggest insult was why couldn't he ask me why I was on it. I am in heart failure and very few drugs I can tolerate. Also can't just quit as I ended up in the hospital the last time I tried that. He didn't care about my circumstances at all. Didn't care that I just had open heart surgery. I don't often sound off like this but this guy deserves it.
