Not a very friendly atmosphere. The personnel are not very helpful. The register personnel are slow, disassociated, and unfriendly.

The pharmacy staff are not helpful, and on the verge of rude. (I make an exception for two…read moreindividuals who've helped me a few times: they're GREAT and this review definitely does not apply to them. It's a pitty that they have to be lumped together with at least two of their co-workers who are awful.) I needed a prescription transferred to another CVS because I was traveling: eventually, the CVS in the town I was visiting called to let me know that they made multiple phone calls to the Orland CVS and weren't getting any help from them. They informed me that they were literally told by the Orland pharmacist that he "didn't have time for this" before he swiftly hung up on them. Don't have time for this? This is your job! Thankfully, I wasn't in immediate need of my medication, but I would have been in a very bad predicament if I was. I recently called to fill a prescription and as soon as he asked what day I wanted to pick it up and I'd responded, he hung up. There was a very fast "we'll have it filled by tomorrow," and then the click of a dead line. No goodbye, no thank you for your business, no chance for me to ask the questions I had to confirm he had marked the right medication for refill (they've gotten it wrong before). On top of that, he completely ignored my opening statements that I don't believe it's possible to get this medication by "tomorrow." It's quite particular and I always call it in with two weeks left of my supply because they usually need to order it. So, I'm left feeling that they likely chose the wrong prescription to refill and that it won't be done when they say it will (even if they did get the medication correct). I play this game with them every three months and it's such a hassle. But, being the only CVS in town, which is the preferred pharmacy for my insurance, I have no choice.

I am and still a long term customer of Willows pharmacy due to the owner Tejas is a stand up man…read morewho will bend over backwards for the patients he fills prescriptions for. I have to admit during the time I wrote the initial review I have been out of all my meds and my pain levels without those meds was past the pain level 10 & during that time of the initial review finding out the deliveries for the day were scrapped due to only one pharmacist & one sweet girl running the phones when the owner was on vacation & had no idea what had transpired to have me write the review but with life people make mistakes and do things when they are in pain & knowing the pain meds were not being delivered meant I had to wait the whole weekend extra. The owner & the pharmacy staff deserve my humble apology for writing such review while being in the worst pain ever & knowing the meds to end that pain just stoned me & my review was not of my true feelings of the staff or Jennifer or Tejas I now know that if he would have known I needed my meds so badly and He not being on vacation at the time he would have found a way to give me my pain meds. Thanks H.

I called my base twice and asked if they ever got the call to transfer my medication here and they said this pharmacy never called. I do not recommend this pharmacy, they do not do what they say they will do. I will be using Walmart for now on for future medication needs.

Owners are slumlords in Yuba City. Take ZERO responsibility for houses with mold, roaches, RATS…read more I really loved the vanity piece in the Chico paper about how dedicated Janet Balbutin is to 'wellness & health.' Wow - what a colossal joke! She can't even stop by the slum she's renting out and see the sick children that had to live there for years because the family had little money to move. I *did.* I saw the coughing and sickness. I saw the bubbles in the bedroom ceiling when the roof leaked and wasn't patched for months. I saw the black mold, the roaches, the RATS. We went over with cleaning vinegar and vitamin C and told them to "get out when you can." I see the "yard" that is completely infested with spider mites and weeds. I see the plaster patches and paint being slapped over the literal cracks in the exterior of the home. I still see black mold on the outside north face of the home and protruding from the attic vents. I see the rot of all the wood around doors and windows. I've had to hire pest control to stop the roaches from coming over to our property and remediation for the mites multiple times. I saw 3 cars being moved to the street so that the Balbutins could avoid paying for towing themselves. They did the same with shopping carts full of trash - left them at the sidewalk so that the city and the police would have to take care of it instead. In short, I have no idea how the Balbutins have such a stellar reputation in Chico. Here, in Yuba City, their name is scorned and uttered in sentences like, "When is the city going to take that house from Balbutin and tear it down??" "How could a family with all that money make Yuba City deal with their trash?" In fact, a printout of the vanity piece from the Chico paper was given to me by a neighbor with the comment, "Can you believe this? Obviously, they don't care about people at all!" as she nodded toward the slum next door. So, if you don't mind taking medication from people who can't take the time to visit - let alone care for - a property they own in YEARS, go ahead. But I certainly wouldn't risk it!

Not only is this a woman-owned business, their service is both superb and respectful.
