I might normally not give Walmart a 5 star rating, but this store saved my ass! I was traveling and forgot my laptop charger! Battery was down to 2%! I figure Walmart has almost everything, for a brick and morter location. Other wise it's Amazon tine! But, stuck in a bind, I wander in there around 7am hoping there was someone in electronics at that hour! I stroll all the way to the back of the store to electronics. Not knowing where shit is here, I see a employee dressed in blue. She helped me find a charger and even let me open it (after paying), and plug it in right there to see if it actually charged my laptop. YES! it works so $40 bucks later, back charging! It's a big store with decent parking and street access and there's a big giant security guard that scans your receipt and item on the way out. I'm glad this store was here! read more

I was doing a spark delivery pick up. I came off really kind to the team lead. I had explained about my living situation in my truck. She started being so rude to me. Verbally harassed me due to certain instructions to put the packages/groceries in my vehicle. She did a good job, putting them in my vehicle, but she kept arguing with me about my lifestyle and living situation. Now I see why a lot of spark drivers told me not to work at Red Bluff. read more

I've never been so appalled by customer service! I was minding my business at Walmart when an employee named Audrey noticed I might need help finding something and offered assistance. I thought it was a nice gesture, but it quickly became a very uncomfortable interaction. Audrey repeatedly asked me to repeat myself because she 'couldn't hear me' since I was 'not facing her as I spoke,' even though I was speaking clearly while trying to show her the product I was looking for on the clothes rack. Instead of politely asking for clarification, she got visibly annoyed, as if I were the problem. I told her never mind, and she scoffed, rolled her eyes, and walked away without an apology. It's beyond me why an employee would offer help, then act so rude and unprofessional when a customer simply tries to communicate. I don't expect much, but basic courtesy is not too much to ask. I bought my wife a watch for her birthday. All was great until it broke. We tried to get it replaced but couldn't reach the seller. The customer service reps at the RedBluff store went above and beyond and were able to get us a refund. It took two days and four reps but they got it done. They deserve a raise and recognition their names are Allison, Patty, kala, and Danyelle. They all contributed greatly to making sure we received satisfaction. Thankyou to all of them. read more

Inconsistent service hours - No signage posted at location. I have to bring someone to cash their paycheck here, twice a month. We found out inconveniently - they close at 6pm - which conflicts with the person's work schedule. So this review is just for the curbside option. They're supposed to come out within a matter of minutes after you let them know we're there, and it took them about 25 minutes to come out with no explanation or apology. I went into Walmart in search of a cell phone and got stuck in a sales pitch by Romy in Electronics. I learned later that she works for Premier, a contractor for Walmart. After about 45 minutes of listening to her, I bought a phone just to get out of there. It wasn't the phone or the service plan that I wanted, but she wasn't listening. They're so nice when they want to sell you something. I've had only good experiences with Walmart and I expected the same from Premier. WRONG! After two days I knew that I really didn't want this phone, it was too expensive for me and I decided to return it. I hadn't counted on everyone passing the buck. Walmart referred me to Premier, by giving me a phone number which turned out to be Verizon, where the robots referred me to Frontier, all of which had no chat lines, only more robots. I've been back 3 times to Walmart -- no luck. The hours of the Premier people are unpredictable and a new hire didn't know how to process a return. I would not recommend Premier Cellular if you paid me. read more

I am sure many are saying the same thing. But I stood and waited after pressing the button at what is referred to as the Pen Case. After about 10 mins of casually browsing the isle waiting, I asked several employees if they had a key for the case. No response for another 10 mins from announcements over the store intercom system and continuedly asking more employees if they had a key or can get someone who does. When the employee shows up with the keys for the Pen Case, they got what I needed and put it in a clear seal box. I didn't understand if they are going to lock everything up, why not step up better customer service in those departments. read more

Started going there when they opened many years ago. As predicted they managed to shut down good old local stores. You get what you pay for and in this place it's crap. They are good about returns with receipt and if u don't one or didn't but it there, no problems. Now 20+ years of ruining this town, they are getting what they deserve. WORST WALMART EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Needs new management. Every single time I shop Walmart.com delivery something is messed up!! Ordered express yesterday which is supposed to be delivered within 2 hours. Was never delivered and no communication as to why. Called the store. They basically told me they have nothing to do with express orders and not to use express. I had to cancel my order and reorder everything for delivery the next day... which is today. Got my order. As always, something is messed up. Got an open pack of bouncy balls. It's supposed to have 6 but I'm guessing some little bratty thief opened the pack in the store and took half the pack. And because this Walmart sucks so bad, I ended up with the open pack in my delivery order because the employees don't pay attention to anything!!! Ummm....sometimes I am a dork. As in, we were about to stay in a romantic little cabin....i was to bring the warm bedding...and there it sat, on my LR floor. Thank goodness MSG is patient and very easygoing. Made a stop-off to purchase all new bedding (shame; felt bad). Most propitious for me, as I had need of a toothbrush as well (DOH!). I have been shopping here for months now and the store seems to be declining rapidly before my eyes. Walmart seems to be trying hard to improve the other stores more and more, such as in Anderson and Redding but not so in Red Bluff. The store fixtures and checkstands are worn out, including the floors. Lines are long and tedious at all times of day now. Often with only one checkstand ever open. I have no idea what is going on. The store needs a serious paintjob and is dirty through out now. Selection, price and stocking have been kept up and continue to be on par with larger stores. read more

Although pharmacists are to receive an additional 6 - 8 years of schooling, and, are considered doctors of their field, RB Walmart pharmacists make me want to seriously search my crackerjack box for liscensure. The store itself is a disaster. I originally stopped in to check out their laptops...what laptops? There was ONE...on the shelf and NO boxed offering for purchase. Seriously. Needless to say, I drive to Redding's Target and Costco, twice weekly for sundries and household goods. The old walmart had a basket sanitizing wash they would push the carts through. My mom worked there when it opened she remembers it. This walmart has nothing but hand wipes for them. I am posting after four visits to the store and every time has been a consistent disappointment. I truly feel like they're trying to create a savings club mentality... like Costco... But in reality you just feel like a criminal because of all of the prying eyes and weird looks. The store feels dirty the clientele also is the same and after you check out then you were investigated at the front door for a receipt and an itemized deduction of your cart. The people seem nice enough but the overall Vibe and everything about the store makes it a totally negative experience.
