This is absolutely one of my favorite Walgreens, and especially including the pharmacy. Everybody is so polite and efficient, and they really go out of their way to help the customers if there is an issue/delay/confusion or anything pertaining to prescriptions. Obviously you have to use different Walgreens if you're on the road at all but I am so happy that this is my local pharmacy and store! read more

Been going to Walgreens for years and was disappointed every time. They send me text saying my prescription is ready and when I go to pick it up there is always a reason it is not ready. This month the pharmacist put a hold on it. Had to come back in an hour when he advised me that he would no longer fill my prescription if my doctor did not call him and explain why he prescribed this drug and what the long term plan is. I asked him twice if he had contacted my doctor and he said yes. Called my doctors office and no record of any request. Been on this drug for 15 years, picking up at Walgreens for about 8 years. Biggest insult was why couldn't he ask me why I was on it. I am in heart failure and very few drugs I can tolerate. Also can't just quit as I ended up in the hospital the last time I tried that. He didn't care about my circumstances at all. Didn't care that I just had open heart surgery. I don't often sound off like this but this guy deserves it. read more

my mom is 89 yrs old with diabetes. her dr called in an order for her diabetes medication on Mo day afternoon . I called to check on it on Thursday morning being told is was going to be filled. at 6:00 pm I went to see if it was ready because I still hadn't got a text from them. That's when I was told they where out of the medication until the following Monday. they never notified me of this when I called so I ran to Wal Mart where I had to sit for an hour waiting for Walgreens to transfer the order. why didn't Walgreens notify me earlier about the medication being out of stock????? read more

The pharmacy staff & pharmacist were both so helpful on a very busy evening!! Thank you for your attention to detail to get me the perfect Over-the-counter medication.. Walgreens was open when I needed them! Lines were long at both the retail & pharmacy locations...clients were commenting on how hard they were working. This is by far one of the worst pharmacies I've ever picked up a prescription from. We do a lot of traveling, and I move my prescriptions around to be able to pick them up at different pharmacies and this place is ridiculous. I am now going to move my prescriptions to Rite Aid in Anderson. They need to train their pharmacy workers on customer service. It's the most dysfunctional an organized pharmacy I've ever, ever had to use. read more

Went there twice for my covid shot and they turned me away. They call nonstop to tell me to come get the 2nd shot and so disorganized. They make me come in3-4 times before I get all my meds. He has cost me one of my meds already. I can't afford to keep making trips into town. This is ridiculous. Piecing out peoples medications messes up the body. Not to mention the order of which they need to be taken. read more

Absolutely unprofessional and incompetent. Needed a simple RX transfer. Was told it would be an hour. Other Pharmacy never received fax. And we drove 35 miles to pick it up for nothing. Called Walgreens back. Spoke to the rudest employee Jessica., then to her manager who claimed he had never spoken to me. I will never step foot in a Walgreens again. Really just got hung up by pharmacy dept. They messed up on my fathers prescription and are not taking responsibility for it! Horrible when you receive a message from an automated teller that your prescription is ready, Then they made the excuse the insurance wont pay for it until the 26th....why did the pharmacist tell me something different yesterday? This is so irresponsible and to hang up on me, is not the answer. If you can't handle the questions give the phone to another customer service representative or a pharmacist! Drove 4 hours from Stanford hospital neurosurgery to find they hadn't filled the RX that had been called in hours earlier. Needed the pain meds had to wait in the car for them to get to it. Now a common RX that can not just be stopped is 3 days over due because they our out of it. Goodbye Walgreen Pharmacy read more

The cashiers are nice in the front of the store but the pharmacy leaves a lot to be desired. I called to make sure my prescription was ready and was told yes. Drove down to get it and the pharmacy is closed for lunch. No sign at the drive thru saying they are closed though. Went in the store at 2:08 pm to find the pharmacy takes lunch from 1:30-2:00 pm. Asked the manager when they will reopen he says "any minute". It is now 2:21 and I hear a rumor they will be back in 10 minutes. Here is a suggestion- make a sign to inform the lobby and the drive thru when you are at lunch and the time you will return!! read more

I have a fungal ear infection, for which the Dr. prescribed Fluconazole. I figured they wouldn't have the prescription ready on the same day, so I went to pick it up the next day. After waiting for 10 minutes for service, I was told that my insurance would not pay for it and it would cost $100.00. I was taken aback, but went to pay for it anyway. Then I was told that they hadn't filled the prescription, because they weren't sure I would pick it up. The Dr. prescribed it, I need it, why wouldn't I pick it up? I've had it with Walgreens. This is not the first time I have had problems with them. I'm giving my business to CVS. read more

First contact: After going to an Urgent Care I needed 2 scripts filled..one they only had 1/2 of the prescribed amount in stock (problem 1) the second problem was they said they had not received it- script #2 from the DR. and the clinic was then closed. 3rd issue. while trying to call to see if my second script had been received and filled. 5 minutes of automated phone BS and the on hold over 30 minutes. In the mean time the clinic closed while I was on hold. One person was helpful the other super put out and snarky. 50% customer service is a "F" grade for anyone. read more

This is a pretty good Walgreens...the cashiers are always really friendly and the pharmacy staff is top notch. I really love the pharmacy's drive through option, especially after a long day when I feel too tired to get out of the car! My only "complaint" is that I have a hard time finding things inside the store. I don't know whether I'm just blind when I go in there, or if the layout is kinda funky, I just know it always takes me a long time when I shop inside. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I have multiple prescriptions which they fill. Each and every time, with every medication there is always some issue, some problem with the refill. Even when they send me a text stating my medication is ready for pickup it never is. I have waited hours, and entire day, and overnight from the time they have informed me that its ready to actually be able to pick it up. The staff is awful! The absolute worst customer service I have ever received in my life. They treat their customers like trash! Avoid walgreens pharmacy in Red Bluff like the plague!!!!! read more

Walgreens is a disappointment. There pharmacy does not seem to be run very well, several times we have taken prescriptions in and it takes them an entire day to do a prescription, regardless of what it is. My mom got out of the emergency room and needed a medication for her heart...a very serious situation. They say it will be done in an hour and a half, okay fine no problem. We will come back later because she lives 25 min away. We arrive after 3 and a half hours and they tell us they cannot fill the prescription until sometime after one the next day. So we waste an hour of our time and gas for nothing, please tell me what is the purpose of giving them our number if they are not going to use it. So we decide to go back and get the prescription to take it somewhere else and I see the tech through the drive through window on his phone, I guess he has time to do that but not his job. He may have just pulled it out and started using it, but the perception is he is doing that instead of his job and the reality is they are not doing a good one. read more
