We were quickly helped and ordered the grande matcha latte and a pecan crunch latte both with light ice. The matcha was not made correctly as it had an entire cup filled with ice!!! This local Starbucks is located on Highway 36 East just off the 5. It's right next to the Red Bluff Gas, a good place for the cheapest gas in Red Bluff. I stop here if I'm headed out of town eastbound on the 36 towards Lassen Park. I go this way if headed to Reno sometimes. I usually stop and go inside cause I like the service better and I can use the free WiFi to do some work things if needed, and yes one last restroom stop before hitting the road. It's just black coffee for me, large, they call it a Venti, I think. Service has always been just fine with a simple coffee order like mine. And since I'm on keto I have a special regimen of what goes into my coffees and what doesn't. Exploring these and finding the taste that specifically speaks to me is fun and exciting when you're on the road and looking for that extra thing to do. I am on a KETO diet. Which means I can't have milk or half and half, I have to have heavy cream. It means I can't have any sugar so I have to use Splenda or Stevia. It means that I can't have anything that contains carbs. And if it does contain carbs it has to be extremely low. So weaving my way through all the options at Starbucks I'm able to find exactly what I want and join the rest of you for that libation the soothes the brain while you're driving. She remade the drink but there is no apple flavor in it. My husband ordered for himself a Vt. Mocha a cookie Crumble Frappuccino with the cup line with chocolate. They had no whipped cream and the cup was lined with caramel. We had to be back for a meeting, but had we had more time, we would have complained. There are Starbucks you can see yourself coming back to time and again and those that really only warrant the one-visit experience. I don't know if I can ever rate a Starbucks 5-stars, but this was certainly one of the better ones I've been in. The interior is clean and spacious and makes for a good place for the locals to hang out. We were just passing through, so we hopped in the quick moving line, put in a complex order for four which they handled with ease and were in and out in less than ten minutes. I must say, the Chai Tea Latte they made me was one of the best I have had at a Starbucks. Six, Seven, Eight, Nine stars...I don't give a damn give this place all of the stars. We pulled up looking for a restroom and some water because a passenger in my car had just fainted out of nowhere. We were taking our time getting her into the store when a kind young man came to make sure everything was ok. It wasn't yet...but it would eventually be ok. I ordered up a wonderful lemonade tea thing and after checking the passengers vitals we headed on our way. The staff here was super friendly and made us feel like they cared. I hope the management is reading this and knows that the staff on Saturday April 17th in the afternoon deserves kudos and praise for their wonderful service to our group that day. read more

Absolutely gorgeous Starbucks. Wish we had locations this nice in OC. Friendly baristas. Quick line. We were able to buy the shortbread cookies here that are no longer sold in our area. They are the best recipe and taste even better than the Girl Scout trefoils I remember as a kid. The blood orange Pellegrino was cold and refreshing. Went to the drive through yesterday and ordered a Mango dragonfruit refresher, made with lemonade. The employee charged my card $5.25 for the specialty drink, then handed me a regular lemonade. When I questioned her about my drink she explained they didn't have the flavoring to add to the drink, but charged me anyway. When I refused the plain lemonade and asked for my money back she became enraged and was rude. You've be got to be kidding me! I don't know why, but these guys hire SO many cute girls. When asked once if I could work on my paperwork here by a Co worker I said no, because the blonde chick would be way too distracting. They also have really cute guys, too. These two guys convinced me to become a gold member. I made them give me one of their dope ass head bands though, so I clearly came out on top. First of all, let me just say that I used to love this Starbucks. I honestly would've given it a 5 star rating before today. I've studied in there multiple times, it's huge, beautiful, great atmosphere, and everyone in there is friendly. Yesterday, this barista helped me concoct my fav drink to date: 2 shots of espresso over ice, w coconut milk and 3 pumps of white mocha. I ordered it in a grande cup, but immediately realized that maybe I should've ordered a larger cup bc of it being filled to the brim w ice. So today, I go to the same Starbucks, again in the drive thru, and order the same drink, but tell Amy to make it medium ice, and in a diff sized cup. So I go up to the window and she has an attitude off the bat when I asked her to fill my water bottle up...but I ignore it. Maybe she's having a bad day, right? Whatever. Then, right as soon as she closed the window, I realized I said a tall cup instead of venti (big oops!!). I apologize to her and tell her I meant venti instead of tall. She then proceeds to have a visual and verbal mini-fit of rage and annoyance, chock full of eye rolls and attitude. I see her dump the contents of the tall cup into the venti, then she opens the window and says, ok now what? Well, you're the barista, so you should know what to do. If you'd like me to park (the only reason I used the drive thru was bc the lot was full), and come back there to do your job, just let me know...right?! Ugh. So I said, politely, can you fill it w a little more ice and a little more coconut milk? She says, I'm just letting you know I'm going to charge you next time for more coconut milk. Are you kidding me?? Now I'm annoyed. I'm already buying an over-priced cup of coffee for the convenience of having a coffee on the go, and I usually go to that Starbucks bc the employees are pleasant. This experience was anything but pleasant! Oh and to top it off, check out how much ice was in my cup even though I asked for medium ice!! And that was after it was sitting for about a half hour! Young "adults" goofing off and not paying attention to customers or details of the order. I asked for a mug as I was staying to do some emails. Got the order to go with waste of paper non recyclable cup. After drinking my latte I had the unpleasant experience of using the men's restroom. What a mess. This used to be my favorite location. I mean for a really small town this place has three Starbucks. However, the last few times that I've come to this location to simply get an iced coffee with milk I have ended up with iced milk and a splash of coffee. If you like your milk more than you like your coffee this is probably the best location still. Just not for me anymore. read more

Cool new Starbucks in Red Bluff. Very modern looking store and extremely clean. Super friendly employees who are very adept at up selling. Drinks were on point, as you would expect fro a Starbucks. DT is well laid out and quick and efficient. Also ordered some sandwiches and pastries in DT, which came out perfectly heated and very fresh. I've been here a couple of times. Each time I've been here the customer service has been very poor. They are short and to the point and don't care about creating a nice welcoming atmosphere. The ONLY reason I come here is because they are a slower store (traffic wise) and I like having the big space to study. The last visit I made, I asked for a decaf iced americano with vanilla sweet cream, instead I got a hot americano with vanilla flavor I'm pretty sure they gave me regular caffeine shots too because I became jittery after drinking it and that never happens when I have decaf. I'm a coffee addict and do prefer Starbucks. However, after my experience at this store with Lacie, the manager on 11/13/2018, I feel I have no other option than to boycott Starbucks as a whole. Starbucks advertises free refills on certain items on the menu, iced coffee, brewed coffee, and tea. After verifying with the Barista that my order qualified for free refills (who confirmed this with Lacie) I placed my order and spent about an hour in-store with my daughter. When we attempted to refill our iced coffees we were told it would be an additional $5 to refill due to our order being so "weird." How iced coffee with milk substitute is weird was never really explained. At this point I spoke directly with Lacie who held to charging me $5 for the "FREE" refill. Bad customer service guys! If this were the first bad experience at this location I probably would not take the time to write this review. However, after nearly every experience at this location resulting in an incorrect order or just plain bad service, I feel the need to warn others to avoid having a similar experience. Corporate response was also lacking. Original purchase price of about $14, plus a generous tip. Corporate responded by offering a $5 gift card. Due to the responses of both Lacie at the store level and the corporate response I received, Starbucks has lost a 20 year patron. Shame on you Starbucks for not only opting not to honor your own posted policy, but for insulting your customers and then doing next to nothing about it. read more

Wow, never knew there could be such a big difference in how a coffee chain can make one of their basic drinks. I always order a tall flat white but lately I have been ordering it with an extra shot of espresso. I have been to this Starbucks twice and ordered this drink. Once with drive-thru and yesterday as a walk-in. The drive-thru drink tasted like one shot of espresso instead of two (it should have had three shots of espresso) and the server was curt and sullen. The walk-in drink was just milk with a very slight hint of coffee. Both drinks were labeled a tall flat-white with a triple-shot but,clearly, were not. My husband tasted my drink yesterday and said it was just warmed-up milk. I have ordered this drink at the Adobe Rd. in Red Bluff and they, also, got it wrong. My normal place to get this is at two Starbucks locations in Redding at least two times a week and they always get it right. This isn't a difficult drink to make with the only difference is to count out 3 shots instead 2. Very interesting that both locations are in Red Bluff. Possibly licensed by the same person? who is skimming off the top? Who knows but the odds are against getting what you order. read more
