The unique pastries were patiently and deliciously described by the barista. Unisex restroom was clean and artfully decorated, antique sink adds character. Loved this cafe. We tried cappuccino, mocha, a smoothies, and a panini. Everything was good. Sitting area was welcoming with comfy couches. Best part: owners have made it family friendly- putting a bin of toys and several kids books around. Definitely make it a welcoming place where parents can actually sit and enjoy a bite. read more

This we were craving a breakfast burrito, saw that a place offered them and so we decided to try them for a change. I ordered the tri-tip burrito and my partner ordered the sausage one. They were kind of pricy, and extremely small, and sadly lacked general flavor. The potatoes needed salt, and my tri tip did not taste seasoned at all. The salsa was a bit anemic as well. The cafe was the best option in town following a trip to the nearby national park, Lassen. They had a full menu and we tried their happy camper cold brew, iced late, avocado toast and breakfast burrito. The espresso drinks were refreshing and the burrito filling. I wouldn't recommend the toast for usual avocado toast lovers--they use toast that tastes slightly of sourdough but is cut like normal sandwich loaf rather than a crusted sourdough. Service was great and we enjoyed sitting at the small bar table inside to finish our breakfast. read more

Best coffee and tri tip sandwiches and if your a jalapeño popper lover, then you definitely have to try their jalapeño grilled cheese popper sandwich and if you're one of those who likes a simple, just avocado bread, they have a really nice avocado bread with everything seasoning and bacon on top definitely a go to service is amazing. I was down here at the DMV and after finishing, I really felt like a good cup of coffee to pick me up a bit. I knew this little independent coffee shop was here, but never stopped in. All I want is a cup of black coffee, none of those fancy drinks for me. Service was friendly and easy with my simple order and the coffee was god and tasted like real pure coffee, not like the Dutch place and their weird tasting coffee. As most people already said in reviews this little coffee shop is so sweet and has a perfect menu for a needed pit stop on our 5 hour drive home! I would highly recommend the vanilla salted cold foam cold brew and any of their breakfast burritos to get you through the day. They had friendly baristas, clean bathrooms, tasty food and drinks, can't ask for more when they have plenty of great seating too to take a break from the 90* weather! read more

Scone (lemon blueberry) was small, salty and came in a sealed plastic bag, so made it kind of mushy, no fresh-baked, out of the oven taste at all....yuck Iced tea was flavored well, I added some sf raspberry, but the Large is roughly 10 oz. I didnt expect a 100 oz drink, but I wanted a large drink to sip on all day at work, oh well! What a lovely spot! Up from the Bay, we stopped by for a coffee, tea, and snack before moving on in our travels. We were not disappointed. The chai tea latte is made the same as Nordstrom Cafe used to make it in Pleasanton, and I was so happy to bring back that memory. Tastes like a Biscoff and Graham cracker! The caramel macchiato was a bit on the sweet side, but my husband didn't mind. The two "bar" snacks we got were very nummy. After hitting up several coffee places over the past few days that gave us over or under baked goods, this was a pleasant change. The woman working there (one of the ones in the coffee bar coming soon Yelp photo), was so friendly! She made me feel like I was at my Texas aunt's house with how friendly she was. Speaking with the owner, she explained her journey to find just the right coffee beans, a roaster called Highwire. I also ordered a breakfast bowl and WOW. I was looking for a cute coffee shop. I really believed that SIP was the spot. I walked in and the place is beautiful, the coffee is good very cozy but unfortunately customer service is horrible. There were two girls working one was making the drinks tall girl (wonderful person) the other one was taking the orders, very rude. We live right now in a world where kindness goes a long way, we need it. We need more of it. So this review is for the owner, please train your employee to have better manners, your place is beautiful but I would never recommend it, not with a bad service. Not only are they the nicest and most welcoming people, their coffee is smooth and their breakfast burritos are delicious! It's a fun little cafe where there's comfortable seating inside and out. It was a great stop before our long trip back home. Bagel sandwich was very tasty and I highly recommend their burrito with tri tip and sauces. It's sizable and flavorful. Superb coffee and genuinely friendly service! We stopped here on a whim while driving back to SF from SEA. Even though they were closing, we never felt rushed. Cherie greeted us immediately and made us feel right at home with her genuine hospitality. We ordered 2 cups of coffee but she ran just short on the second cup. We probably wouldn't have noticed had she not mentioned it, but she was honest and insisted that we wait for a fresh brew. A definite highlight on our road trip back home. I'll never forget the simple act of kindness, hospitality, and the great coffee is just an added bonus. Cherie has a great heart and I'll always remember the stop on our way back.
