"Special sauces" on burgers are bad. Cook can't handle simple changes to a burger like adding bacon or putting sauce on the side.

With my fair share of fish fry under the belt (literally), this little tin shack restaurant can rival any down home recipe out there.

The menu is extremely diverse! Many options to choose from. My family had the patty melt, the chicken fettuccine alfredo, and the smothered grilled chicken. It was all delicious! My group also took home some delicious pies for dessert! Definitely check this place out in Lawrenceville!

Of course, no one can know with certainty what caused it, but this was the only meal we had all shared that day that seemed questionable. When I contacted the owner to let them know about our experience, the response was disappointing. The owner said, "I don't know what to do with this information. I'll have to talk to my manager." I explained that we were from out of town and that this breakfast was the only meal shared by the people who became sick. The owner suggested it could have been a virus from a few days earlier. I understand that foodborne illness can be difficult to confirm definitively, and I'm not claiming certainty about the cause. I simply wanted to share our experience so others can make informed decisions.

She's been updated some but she's musty and fussy, like your dowager great aunt who wears too much floral perfume, annoying and stinky but you have to love her because she's been so generous and given so much to the whole family and community. Yes. The Holiday in Olney is like that. I've heard the rooms are outdated but clean - I can't assess that since I haven't been in one since the 80's. I do know the restaurant is pretty good - when I was a kid, the coffee shop is where all the local and state police would meet for coffee. It was a nice feeling to walk in and see familiar faces. I hope they still congregate there. There's a giant covered dome structure and it's a great place for large gatherings like class reunions. After several decades, the Holiday is serving alcohol again their former owner-turned-Christian stopped serving back in the 80s, too. (rip Ralph, you judgemental old fart!) I've heard that the pool is pretty rough. I walked by it and I think I'd take a pass. But old gal, you still have good bones, and like our childhood homes that we drive by when we visit, we're grateful you're still around.

They tried to put us in a room that already had a guest but our keys didn't work so the front desk person used the master key. The guy was mad, obviously. The front desk person told him and me that people OD there almost everyday, and that's why they have a master key.
