"Special sauces" on burgers are bad. Cook can't handle simple changes to a burger like adding bacon or putting sauce on the side.

Review Highlights - Tin Cup

With my fair share of fish fry under the belt (literally), this little tin shack restaurant can rival any down home recipe out there.

She's been updated some but she's musty and fussy, like your dowager great aunt who wears too much floral perfume, annoying and stinky but you have to love her because she's been so generous and given so much to the whole family and community. Yes. The Holiday in Olney is like that. I've heard the rooms are outdated but clean - I can't assess that since I haven't been in one since the 80's. I do know the restaurant is pretty good - when I was a kid, the coffee shop is where all the local and state police would meet for coffee. It was a nice feeling to walk in and see familiar faces. I hope they still congregate there. There's a giant covered dome structure and it's a great place for large gatherings like class reunions. After several decades, the Holiday is serving alcohol again their former owner-turned-Christian stopped serving back in the 80s, too. (rip Ralph, you judgemental old fart!) I've heard that the pool is pretty rough. I walked by it and I think I'd take a pass. But old gal, you still have good bones, and like our childhood homes that we drive by when we visit, we're grateful you're still around.

This motel was the grossest place I've ever stayed! My feet literally squished on the floor. The…read morebathroom was so slippery. We had 2 rooms, and they were both gross. They tried to put us in a room that already had a guest but our keys didn't work so the front desk person used the master key. The guy was mad, obviously. The front desk person told him and me that people OD there almost everyday, and that's why they have a master key.

And there will be a next time! The vibe was cute, cozy. The menu was perfectly simple with Italian staples, an amazing steak selection and some specials. We ordered the portobello mushroom appetizer - it was so good that we needed a second one! We shared the surf and turf special. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed delicious happy hour beverages and then decided to order desert, despite being stuffed. We opted for the blondie with ice cream and holy moly! It was so amazing that I had to order one to go for my sister haha. The chef came out and we had to shake his hand. Not to be dramatic, but this is one of the best restaurants we've found in Southern Indiana thus far.

OH EM GEEEE! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! We spent a week here…read morein Indiana (Dale) & hate the fact that we came here on our last nite! If we would have known, we would have been here EVERY night of our visit! I wanted steak & boy did I get a steak!!!!! PURE BLISS! Our little doesn't really eat when we go out but she ate 1/2 of her spaghett....that's saying something! The owner, Brandon, went around & conversed w/every table & made everyone feel welcome! GREAT customer service, wait service & the food was/is PHENOMENAL.....& that's an understatement!!!! We took the cheesecakes to go so we could "digest enjoy" our dinner but we did have a small small tease taste & oh my goodness.... We would make a trip from California JUST to come back to Mama T's....WITHOUT QUESTION!!!!! Thank you Brandon & your staff! And please, compliments compliments to the chef!
