My husband and I were very happy that Tim's is open again for 2021! They were closed last year due to the Covid but back in business with an awesome selection of fresh Christmas trees from Oregon. This place has a large selection of trees - all sizes and the customer service is exceptional. Dog friendly too so bring the entire family and support your local business . Keep in mind trees will be more expensive this year due to fires, the pandemic and all the other issues like shortage of truck drivers, high gas prices and remember they were unable to do business last year so expect to pay higher prices and be kind. Hands-down the best, freshest, most beautiful Christmas trees in Sacramento. Also, the staff are wonderful and knowledgeable about the trees and will help you pick the perfect one. This year was my first time getting a tree from Tim's Christmas Trees and I only wish I had known about them previously. The quality was distinctly higher than many other Xmas tree lots and local nurseries where I've purchased in the past. And unlike some places, Tim's has many beautiful taller-sized trees (8 ft and larger) that are lush, full and very fresh. I was helped today by Mario who was fantastic and went above and beyond (in the rain, no less). Mario helped me with my selection, then made sure the tree I picked fit my stand and even trimmed some branches from the bottom and top to fit my room height. The rest of the staff were equally helpful and friendly. I took home an 8ft tree that fits perfectly and looks wonderful. I was so incredibly disappointed in the final product that I received here. The trees are beautiful, as they should be for the price, and I did find the perfect one. Unfortunately when I got home, the stand and water bowl we're put on so poorly that the tree kept falling over. So I hauled the tree all he way back to the lot to have them do it again. They insured me that the bowl was new and wouldn't leak with the re-do, but when I went to water it for the second time, there was a huge pool of water all over the floor. And I am NOT going to drag that tree all the way back again. So incredibly annoying. read more

I bought a tree here the Saturday after Thanksgiving & I was very happy with the look & cost of the tree. It was beautiful once decorated. The problem is it is now christmas eve & despite the fact that I have kept water in the base, the tree is dried out & droopy & I can't wait for Christmas to be over so I can take it down & toss it. It's so bad that i can't even put presents under the tree, they are stacked around it. This will be the 1st year I don't keep my tree up til New years. I called Tim's Christmas trees after hours. I was not expecting a phone call back because I know how crazy it is during the holiday season. I got a phone call back a few hours later, after hours from a man that asked me what he can do to help me. The situation I was in was my wife's sisters kids were taken from there mom and they live with their grandparents. They had no money no tree and no presents so I tried to get Mark Shannon to give me a cost on what it would take to get them a tree only since I I do not live in California and I am three states away. He told me he would do it for no money and bring them a few presents on top of lighting the tree as well as take some photos of the 2 boys receiving the tree. I've been in business most my life and I have never ever been in a situation where a man that I've never met before goes out on the kindness of his own heart to take care of a family like this. This man is an amazing person and I highly recommend this company from anybody everywhere. I can proudly say that by talking to this gentleman it has made me a better person and I cannot wait for the opportunity to repay his kindness. There is in no way availability for me to express my gratitude in writing this gentleman has done for this family during they're trying times. Our Christmas tree shopping was priceless and fun. With so many great trees to choose from, we found our perfect tree. Tim was awsome. He got my kids to help and prep the tree to take home and even took a few memorable pictures for us because we didn't have a camera with us! Tim is the best. This christmas, my brother would not have been able to have a christmas tree due to illness. I live out of town and wanted to have a tree with lights delivered to my brothers home in stockton. I called over a dozen places in that area and no one seemed to be able to help. The last phone call I was going to make was to Tim and then I was considering driving a tree myself! He was ready to help me and went out of his way to put lights on a noble fir and get it delivered to my brother and his wife.
