There's so much to see here and prices are slightly better than most nurseries in the area when you consider the size of the trees. Give yourself plenty of time to look, because this place is large. The only bummer is that you cannot bring your dog. Also, it's very easy to lose children in what feels like a forest to them. So, you might consider leaving them at home, too. ;-) read more

Highly impressed with the huge selection they have for such a small space. It should be called "The Tetris Nursery." Their trees are mostly 15gallon+. Prices are great for the size/age of the trees. We stopped at a different nursery first and bought there before coming here- wish we'd bought here instead first as they are much bigger/older stock. read more

So far I have bought the following trees from here: 2 pomegranate trees, 2 cherry trees, 1 blood orange, and 1 lime. All trees are doing well, even in Sacramento's clay soil, and because they grow them here in Sacramento, no weathering and conditioning is needed. I've just taken them and plopped them into the hole I dug for them, and they've done great. I truly love this place, and anyone who asks me where to shop for trees in Sacramento area, I always tell them to go to trees outlet. To pay, we have used cash and Venmo. The owners are super helpful and they even look out for you. I had picked a cherry tree, and when she came to help me put it in the car, she pointed out that the trunk was damaged, and could make it prone to disease (I had missed it) so she just took it away and chose another healthier tree for me which I appreciated very much. Very beautiful trees. Their citrus trees are especially beautiful. And at this time of year (May), many are loaded with pounds and pounds delicious fruit. Very reasonable prices, particularly on the large trees which take years to attain that size. They have lots of fruiting and non-fruiting trees, not only citrus. I got lucky and found TREES OUTLET online in a random web search. They weren't on Yelp at that time. I nudged the owner to claim the business so now I'm happy to write a review for them. People need to know about this place! We moved up to Roseville from the Bay Area. We bought a home with a lot of land with tons of landscaping potential. We have dreamed for years of having enough space to plant fruit trees, create secret gardens etc. Our yard was a blank canvas waiting to be filled with vibrant colors. We went to every nursery in our area - struggled to find 1) knowledgeable and competent staff to help us and 2) mature, good-looking plants and trees. Always came up empty, "sorry, these are the only lemon trees we have right now." Always disappointed. When we visited TREES OUTLET, I was blown away by the variety of mature trees we found. Row after row of every kind of tree that we were dreaming about: plum, nectarine, tangelo, apple, you name it, they have it. We also got olive trees, they have plenty of non-citrus trees too. It is an absolute heaven for people who are tired with the dwarfed miniatures you find at most nurseries. Richard and his wife took us on a tour, showing us what he had. He was super helpful and friendly - and patient! We took forever trying to decide on what we wanted, and he wasn't bothered. He gave us advice on how to care for the trees. He delivered the trees to our home and walked the property with us to help us determine the best spots for the trees. From time to time, I call Richard and ask a question about tree care and he graciously takes the time to answer my questions. TREES OUTLET is the best kept secret and it shouldn't be. Rich and his wife do a great job taking care of that place. They work hard, you can tell. The quality of their trees are evidence of their hard work. And great people too! We bought in spring and we have enjoyed fruit our first season - tons of lemons and tangelos. We even got some pears and plums in the fall! They are delicious and we've been making great cocktails! Purchased a citrus tree contacted them to return. They indicated no returns. I said where was it posted. They said on a golf cart. I said I didn't see a golf cart. Then they said well the cashier didn't tell you. I said no. They said well all sales are final. I indicated it was my first time there and could I talk to someone. They said everyone is busy you can come here but all sales are final. This will be my first and last purchase from here. Sometimes customer service goes a lot farther than a sale. My wife, a friend and myself made a trip to Sacramento from Los Angeles just to visit this place. Hannah was very accommodating and the man was very nice enough to show me around the property to look at the citrus trees in a golf cart. I wasn't able to get his name due to my amazement on how vast the nursery is! To me, the place seems like there are millions of trees for sale at an affordable price! It was my first tree buying experience and thought it was a good one until a day or so later when I found out otherwise. However, I accept some of the blame for not taking the time to do the research first, being too excited, and taking the word of someone I thought to be knowledgeable in the field. Anyway, I explained to the seller in detail what kind of tree I was interested in buying. My highlights were the roots must grow straight down, low maintenance, reach no higher than 15-20 feet, do not bear fruit, and do not need much water. She the seller recommended the Cherry Laurel tree. The word cherry should have raised a red flag but it did not occur to me then. I have to accept some of the blame on that behalf too. A couple days later after having the three trees planted, I was told that they can and will cause a sticky mess if not kept up properly. I felt deceived, disappointed, cheated, and upset over the whole thing mainly because they are not not low maintenance. read more

Thousands of healthy trees on a family-run nursery. Picked up a 1" caliper fuyu persimmon tree, larger than anything they have at Green Acres, for only $65!! They have other kinds of persimmon, too, like hachiya, chocolate, etc. Also got a donut peach. It was a pleasure walking through and seeing what they have - all kinds of peaches, nectarines, cherry, pears, apples, citrus, loquat, avocado. Like kumquats? They have Nagami as well as Fukushu. They have small trees as well as full-size trees that you would need a tractor to move. Wonderful place. read more

I was in this nursery yesterday. I was impressed by their vast selections of fruit and ornamental trees. The owner, Mr. Wong is very nice, very patient to answer my inquiries despite the fact that he was busy working. His attendants are also nice and attentive in taking care of the many trees and plants in the property. The prices of the trees are reasonable, considering the quality of the items. They have many grown trees with fruits already like cherries and loquats so one can sample the fruits you're going to buy. This is a family-owned business, so they have only a few (but helpful) attendants. I've wanted an avocado tree forever. When I found out that there's a dwarf version (Little Cado) that maxes out at 8 ft instead of the regular sized 80 ft tree, I went on the hunt to find it. I moved to this area almost 2 years ago and live just down the street from TREES OUTLET, so when I saw on their web site that they carried this tree, I went yesterday to check it out. Hannah, one of the owners, showed me their 6 or so Cados... they were all covered in blossoms! I asked her to choose one for me and asked her about how to care for it.
