Much better selection than a Lowe's or Home Depot! Several unique flower varieties. I was impressed…read moreby the amount of variations of roses they had. Some plants were rather pricey but I don't know anywhere else that sells beautiful Japanese Maple trees. Staff are incredibly helpful, anyone I flagged down or chatted up seemed to know quite a bit about the plants and what I needed to take care of the plants I looked at, There is also an abundance of indoor houseplants, but sadly my husband said no to more houseplants! I recommend giving this place a try for your indoor and outdoor plant projects.

Adj: Grand Gardening Paradise…read more Green Acres is a wonderful store to shop for the most comprehensive selection of plants, flowers, trees, veggies, and gardening supplies of all kinds. Whatever you can think of they probably have. What they don't have they will still know about and probably be able to order for you. Although it is a big corporation, their service is generally pretty good. Their staff are quite knowledgeable about all kinds of plantlife and are friendly and helpful. We've gotten trees and some flowers here and they have done ok despite our brown (black?) thumbs. Value is there for some items such as vegetable starts (seedlings), but other things are definitely overpriced like those fairy garden objects (they remind me of dollhouse knickknacks, I guess fairy gardens are grown ups' version of dollhouses? Lol) which were like $6.50 each for each one of those many tiny items. Overall, there's a ton to browse and ponder at Green Acres and it's a really extensive place for both amateur gardeners like myself and expert gardening enthusiasts!

The Secret Garden is a not-so-secret nursery that isn't your average nursery. I've seen it when it…read morewas a secret, with just a tiny wooden sign on the back road by the freeway and tucked at the end of a residential neighborhood. Over the years, they grew in popularity and I saw the new neon signage go up and am always excited to see their next new landscaping and added features. This is a split between gardening supplies and plants. They don't have trees like your average nursery, but more of succulents, cactus, herbs, and decorative flora. They sell tons of giants pots and has an indoor shop with cute gardening knick knacks. I've purchased many cute household plants from them. I love that the space itself is decorated to give you ideas for your next project. It's a nice stroll thru paths, gazebos, and ponds/water structures. There is an annual butterfly event when the butterflies migrate and stop by the Secret Garden's many passionfruit vines. During their summer events, there's rotating vendors. I actually found my favorite coffee from a pop-up here, which now they have a brick and mortar shop downtown, Burnside Coffee. Whether you're looking for ideas or cute plants, the Secret Garden has it. Sometimes it's just nice to stroll around their grounds. I'm hoping they expand more in the future and add more gardens and structures. Hopefully they can set up a picnic area and have more events.

They also have a nice indoor gift shop offering a variety of indoor household items (pot holders, towels, tote bags, stickers and more)!
