Mike helped with finding the floetrol for smoothing out the paint she selected for painting her cabinets. He also showed me the spray paints for a wrought iron project. Eddie suggested a different base paint for a glass project she has, saying the ceiling paint would be too thick. So for your employees, Home Depot gets a superior rating. But let me tell you, for cleanliness outside is atrocious! Trash everywhere. Home Depot in Antelope needs to consider that many people would choose to shop elsewhere and also know that that trash is a safety hazard. Not to mention that Home Depot can't be respecting their own business as well as their customers.

She didn't give me time to get my things out of the basket and onto the counter. She just walked around and gunned everything. Two minutes later I was paying and on my way. I got another smile and a big thank you. Before I could push my cart out the door a young man comes over and grabbed my cart and says "I'll help you to your car." everything I had was small and I didn't really need the help but I sure appreciated it. Getting smiles from him and some small talk as we walked to my car. After he loaded my car, he said I hope you have a nice day and I'll see you the next time you're here. I'd be happy to help you anytime.His name is Rodions. I didn't get her name but the two of them had me smiling all the way home. I need to go back later today to get some rock and bark. I'll need help with that. You can bet I will be looking for Rodions for help and another smile. So many people act like they hate their jobs. These two people gave such excellent service and smiles. This tells me that there are some people that just want to do their job to the best of their capabilities. I have a lot of respect for that.

But to find someone in the store to help you is like a treasure hunt. I finally found a man in the hardware area, but as soon as I walked up to him, his phone ring and somebody was talking to him and he just turned us back to me and walked away. So I had to chase him so when he got off the phone, I could ask more to find rubber stoppers. He took me there. It was not a very happy man. The garden section was completely empty also but we did end up finding the soil test kits and two bags of mulch. I don't know what happened if somebody bought them all out or what. Of course, then you have to go all the way back to the middle to pay. I don't know, this whole store gives off a vibe of nobody gives a tootle about whether you're there or not.
