I cried watching the wedding videos (of strangers) on his website, so we knew we had to book him for our wedding! Mike was professional and very responsive to our phone calls and emails. He was patient and helpful in reviewing the different videography packages and helping us customize a package that worked best for our situation. Unfortunately, our wedding date fell during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we had to cancel our big wedding plans. We asked Mike for a refund on our deposit, and we really appreciated his understanding and compassion given the situation. He gave us his word that he would return our deposit once he started getting business again. Although we could not use Mike for our event, we highly recommend him based on his professionalism, honesty, and our positive customer service experience.

Hai is extremely professional and met with us twice prior to the wedding so that he could really capture everything we wanted and talk about what we needed. He was very accommodating and we loved how detailed he was in everything he did. He was able to get all of the little details of the wedding, from the decor, the guests, the big and small moments, and everything in between. The final video really captured the essence of our wedding beautifully and we have received sooo many compliments about how incredible it was. It feels like we get to relive it over and over again! We also love that we get the footage of the ceremony, speeches, dancing, and candid shots of everyone. The editing and the videos captured were PERFECT and we are beyond happy with everything. We could not believe how fast we got the video because there was soo much footage to go through. We definitely recommend Elise Films to everyone getting married/anyone who needs a videographer! Thank you so much for capturing our wedding perfectly!

During our wedding planning process, videography has always been at the top of my must-have list…read moresince I wanted to relive our wedding day in video form for future years to come. There are so many different videography styles, but Elise Films caught my eye on Instagram @elisefilms because they showcased a beautiful story where I could feel the emotions and love from the couple. During my initial conversation with Hai, I told him about one of our concerns since our wedding would be in Orange County but he was located in San Diego. He assured me that he visited Orange County quite often due to other weddings and his family so there would be no additional traveling fees which was good to hear. He's also very flexible about his packages and can do a custom package that may be a better fit based on your wedding needs. We ended up going with his Feature Film custom package adding on more hours and including a sneak peek as well. His videography and drone views are top notch and extremely professional that it's like watching a movie! When we had to postpone our wedding in 2020, we wanted to be sure that we could keep Elise Films and almost had a date secured with all our other vendors but unfortunately, he was already booked. Luckily, we were able to come up with a new date that worked with his schedule so we were relived we could keep him and he was able to honor our new date at no extra charge. A week before the wedding, Hai requested a Zoom meeting with so that we could go over any final details which shows how much thought and care he does for every couple. We had a wonderful meeting with him to go over the logistics and what we wanted to capture. On our wedding day, Hai showed up early to do set up and was able to capture a few moments before anyone else had arrived. His dedication is a testament to the work product he provides which is 100% perfection. We were glad to see that he brought his own microphone and sound system as well so that the audio would be very clear. Throughout the wedding day, Hai and David made sure that different moments were captured, and we also had fun recreating and moving around to get that perfect shot. At one point, I was all set up with the microphone to read the vows however things didn't go according to plan since we ran out of time but Hai was able to quickly clean it up and keep things moving along so that there would be no delays. Hai partnered very well with our wedding coordinator and photography team so that there was open communication to capture any couple or group shots. Even during the reception, Hai was one of the last vendors to leave so that he could capture all the dancing moments for our guests. He is truly dedicated to his work and we're so honored that we could have him as our videographer. We were so excited when we received our sneak preview which was completed in 2.5 weeks and our feature film before 9 weeks which was the exact timeframe he had given to us. I was moved to tears by the way he captured our vows and interweaved it with the wedding ceremony for our films. The sneak peek and feature film are touching and beautiful to watch. We're so glad that we can share with our loved ones and friends in addition to other parts of the wedding that didn't make the cut. Hai is down to earth, easy-going, and extremely responsive and communicative to all the questions we had. Thank you Hai for creating a beautiful video memory for us to enjoy for years to come!

He also edits amazing videos if you have a bigger videography budget than we do...and want the full superstar experience. After seeing samples of his work, my husband and I knew that we could trust Stephen to just "do his thing" so we gave him our schedule of events and asked him to video the components that made the most sense to him and the video looks gorgeous. Because his camera looks a little unconventional, many of our guests thought he was one of the photographers so we also have some hilarious clips. And, our photographer loved working with Stephen. Stephen knows how to get the footage he needs to make your day memorable with you and your photographer barely noticing him throughout the day. We were so grateful for both Stephen's calm confidence in the work he produces and the footage we received. My husband and I (and all of our guests who have seen the footage) absolutely love his work and highly recommend him! He is soooo worth it and he was by far and away one of our favorite vendors at our wedding.

Satisfied that he had all 5-star reviews, I moved on to his website and easily liked all of the pictures in his portfolio from surf shots to weddings to maternity sessions. Michael seemed to appreciate the consideration and promised a quick turnaround (under a week!). We had our session only days after I contacted him, and we instantly liked him. We found Michael to be very down to earth, easygoing, and patient. He shared some good ideas for pictures, was very open to any of our ideas, and even as the session ended, made sure there weren't any last shots we wanted. He promised us pictures within the week and said that he would be happy to edit any of them for more light, color, black & white, etc. As promised, we received our pictures within the week. We were really impressed with the sunset lighting/landscape he was able to capture. I've posted a few of our pictures for you to judge for yourself, but we'll definitely be contacting Michael again!
