On our wedding day, she knew all the best photo spots at our venue and was able to get us a wide variety of photos for our couple's portraits. Myro did a fantastic job getting photos of all our guests during the cocktail hour. We had several guests compliment how friendly he was and how many people he captured. In the background leading up to our wedding day, the True Photography team helped put a photography timeline that aligned with our wedding coordinator's timeline. This helped ensure we got all the photos needed included first looks, couple's portraits, family portraits, etc. No special moment was missed by the team throughout the wedding. On our wedding day, the level of professionalism and quality of work was unacceptable: Lack of direction: There was little to no guidance on posing or lighting. The photographer made comments like, 'What was that?' or 'What's that face?' instead of providing constructive direction. Poor Technical Execution: Many family photos feature heavy, unflattering shade cast across faces. Across the entire collection, there is only one usable, direct shot of my husband and me facing the camera. Absenteeism: During the cocktail hour, which we hired the photographer to cover, the photographer was found sitting in the dressing room instead of actively taking candid photos of our guests. I actually had to seek out the photographer to initiate coverage of the event. Frankly, the final delivered collection lacked the quality and professional execution we would expect from a paid vendor. It felt like paying a friend to snap photos, not a professional with an understanding of lighting and composition. A further point of concern: not a single photo from our wedding has ever been featured on the company's website or social media. We anticipated a high level of work based on the company's advertised portfolio, and what we received fell far short of that professional standard.

Charlie was able to find a person to cover our wedding just a couple days before the wedding date. He has excellent examples of different styles of videography they could provide and what that pricing would look like. Charlie's website is perfectly user-friendly and was precise in their package descriptions and pricing. We personally did not want cinematic style videography that would require a lot of editing on their end. We wanted raw footage that we could keep for generations to show to our future children and grandchildren. The videographer did a phenomenal job at recording the ceremony and some of the reception in an authentic way that encapsulated the feeling of one of the greatest days of our lives. The videographer that covered our wedding, Stephen Daniels, had an exceptional understanding of Charlie's expectations on customer service. Charlie was constantly responsive before the big day and clear about when we should expect the files after the wedding. When he offered additional services in the emails, he presented it in a way that demonstrated his genuine care for weddings and events and not just an "upsell." I could see Charlie's customer service extend to Stephen. Stephen and Charlie knew we went with the most affordable package. Even so, Stephen set up a higher quality microphone and brought two cameras for backup. Charlie's website explains other services he could provide such as DJ-ing. Luckily, my husband is a DJ, but we did have quite a few live singers at our reception. Although we could not afford the microphone package for sound on the live singers, Stephen took the time out of recording to help one of the live singers with their sound quality on their devices. Our wedding was genuinely a DIY wedding ran by the power of Hashem and our community. When Stephen walked into the ceremony space, the most prominent visual part of our wedding, the Chuppah, a canopy in which many Jewish ceremonies take place was not set up. Stephen took time to help our friends and staff with the chuppah. Charlie and Stephen were not required to go beyond expectations, but they did that and then some. Although Charlie markets his work as "cheap videography," he certainly does not cheap out on the quality of their customer service and work. No emails have been answered. No communication whatsoever. This is frustrating because he was the only one that has our wedding footage. We would be happy with the raw footage if anything, but the lack of communication and breach in our contract is not ok. We will be reaching out to the other couples who have been fooled by him and will pursue legal action.
