We used New Evolution Video to put together a package of nine promotional videos for our IRONMAN SwimSmart initiative. From the minute I contacted them, I was impressed. I hired New Evolution Video to shoot an entertainment show I was going to perform at night, outside, in less than ideal conditions. The crew did a great job in shooting footage in a creative way, including a stop motion segment when the audience was first coming into the performance area. That's something I never thought of, and looked great. They shot at the right distance, and in post-production the lighting, sound, and selection of scenes for a "sizzle" reel were great. I am a general contractor and I hired New Evolution Video to make a required pre-construction still and video image record of our sprawling job site as required by project specifications. The intent was to make a high-definition record of all on-site infrastructure that were to be affected by our scopes of work. This also consisted of miles of surface roads and material staging areas. The records had to be of superb quality as we are liable for repairing/re-building anything that might become damaged during our operations to complete the municipal project for the City of Carlsbad, CA. After a long online search, I found New Evolution Video and the owner himself Mr. Richard Tiland became directly involved. He had not tried this format of recording, but he was undaunted and embraced the challenge of this opportunity. We did our drone-shot planning in real time with the "meter running" and I found it extremely easy to work with him, he is a most capable drone/camera operator. I was immediately impressed by the spectacular 4k resolution of all the still images and companion video "footage". For much of the recording we chased the drone from a vehicle and although we lost visual contact with the drone multiple times from the hilly terrain, Mr. Tiland never flinched or wavered, the filming went on. We were also presented with nasty/gusty on-shore wind at times and there was never any problems or need to pause our work, as Mr. Tiland is an expert pilot and the drone's superb image stabilization technology was a great friend. At the end, we were presented with a perfect site record product that was very pleasing to all parties including the City of Carlsbad. New Evolution Video prepared our records in an extensive area by area format very expeditiously and on their anticipated budget. Due to the great price and quality of their work, we have since decided to expand our engagement with them to record our overall project. The whole experience was positive beginning to end. I am very demanding and have a marketing as well as an engineering background and I/we found New Evolution Video to be very refreshing and flexible to work with.
