Oh man... where do I begin to start with this nightmare called Barrel O' Monkeyz. I was introduced to BoM by Bill, the head art creative, who is actually extremely talented, and I had been using him for many years until he co-op'd with BoM. By Bill's suggestion, I brought Paul and his team on to do a website project for me, which they have yet to keep on schedule and on budget. Over $13,000 and 1.5 YEARS (yes YEARS) later, I STILL DO NOT HAVE A WEBSITE. At this point Paul has become MIA from the project, after he left me a scathing voice mail because I left him know how dissatisfied I was with his project management skills. So he left us to another guy Dave to project manage, and a year later our website is being held hostage as Dave has lost his enthusiasm for the project because apparently he is no longer getting paid (and he constantly reminds us of this) so where did my $13K go? Bill bailed off the project last year for "religious" reasons apparently, so they brought on another graphic designer THAT WE HAD TO PAY FOR and took over 6 months to deliver the art work. And if it doesn't get any more crazy, every email we get from Dave we are told our project is going to cost more money, and take more time. "Barrel of monkeys" is properly named, because that is exactly what this team is - and from what I have been told, they are no longer in business... so who knows, good luck catching these monkeys, and having them finish your project. In the meantime, I am being held back from launching my business and making money because I do not have a f*cking website. read more
