Jeremy and Brian did a REMARKABLE job on our wedding day, and anyone who doesn't get on their calendar would be missing out. We initially hired them because I had been the maid of honor in a wedding they recently did - They were lovely to work with, very down-to-earth and kind, and then seeing their edits were absolutely amazing. I heard that the pretty high-end resort where the wedding was, even wanted to use their footage for a commercial. Everything seemed great... until he ghosted me. Let me start off by saying I was initially drawn to Blue Tiger Films because their films are absolutely beautiful and they are one of of the videographers in San Diego with a lot of experience. Their pricing was also transparent and spot on with our budget. Initially when I sent my inquiry, Jeremy responded almost immediately with the packages he offered, as well as to set up a time to talk on the phone. Our call was later that week where we chatted about details regarding the process, ceremony, and just getting to know us as a couple. Even better, Jeremy said he was experienced with our venue and assured he'd know exactly how to deliver a great film for us. The call ended with him saying he'd be in touch and would send over the contract. Everything sounded great, right? One week passed by and I hadn't heard from him yet so I sent a follow up email to thank him for the call and ask for a status update. One more week went by with no reply so I sent him a text expressing my understanding for vendors during the busy wedding month of October, but just asking if I could get a thumbs up if we were still good to go (even if that meant having to wait a while for the follow up contract). A third week went by with zero response so I called and left a voicemail, again just asking for confirmation that he was still open to working with us on our wedding day. At almost 1 month of absolute silence, I sent one last email asking him to just let us know if he no longer wanted to work with us anymore so we could move on to another vendor. Just as I expected, still no response!! If they still had time to continue to post instagram videos and stories, they also had time to send me a quick text or email back. We gave him more than enough chances. Let me reiterate that I know October is an extremely busy wedding month for vendors, on top of weddings already being pushed back from covid, but Blue Tiger Films completely left us hanging from what we thought was a great call to crickets. I have complete empathy for vendors, but they should also have empathy and know how stressful it is to plan a wedding. I went back and forth deciding whether or not I'd leave a review at all because of the impact it can have on a small business, but it can save a potential inquiring couple the headache. This review is long overdue. Hire these guys! I booked Jeremy and his brother to shoot our August 2015 wedding. I ordered 7 hours of coverage with a highlight video and we received the footage in November- about a three month turn-around. First, Jeremy is super professional. I felt completely comfortable having these guys around all day. A couple of months before the wedding, he sent me a questionnaire with wedding details. Other than that, there was really no direction given. They showed up on time and ready to roll. Second. Jeremy is super sweet. Toward the big day, I was starting to get scared that the photographer and videographer were not going to have enough time to shoot everything. I asked Jeremy if he would give us a discount on an extra hour of shooting, if we gave him and his brother extra ice cream from the ice cream truck we hired. They were so awesome that they said yes! Finally, the quality of the footage. I'm probably never going to watch that three hour long DVD (although our parents LOVE it), but I watched our highlight video a billion times. I love it so much, and I am so happy that we paid extra for it!! Somehow, they packed all of the good parts into 3 minutes. Seriously, so good. And this is not cheesy. I mean, there are no drones or anything, but the footage looks super modern. There are no freaking star swipes! Seriously, who still does that? (Actually, you'd be surprised how many...) When we were doing our wedding planning, my then-fiance and I were really debating if we wanted to hire a videographer.....we were worried that we wouldn't watch it or that they wouldn't be able to capture the magic and emotion of the day. One of the best decisions we made was hiring them to film our wedding in June, 2016. They are real professionals - they covered every detail of our wedding and created the best highlight video we ever saw. I can't stop watching it - I love every second of it! It literally brings tears of joy to my eyes every time I watch it. Jeremy is a real pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond whenever I asked for something. For example, my photographer missed a key shot, so I emailed Jeremy and asked him if he caught it on film. He emailed me back that he had, and he sent me a screen shot of it so I could have it as a hard copy as well as seeing it in the video. (That's a real perk to hiring Jeremy - you don't have to worry if your photographer caught every picture you hoped for, because even if a picture was missed, Jeremy will have it on film for you!) Jeremy and Brian are so friendly, patient, and easy to work with. No matter what I asked for, they were happy to do it. For example, I wanted to use a different song for the background music on my highlight video, and even though it was me who gave them the original song (that I now wanted to change,) that was no problem for Jeremy. They capture so many amazing moments, their reels are beautifully edited, and the whole time they work with incredible attitudes and smiles on their faces. A nice example of this,is that when we couldn't afford the more expensive package because my fiancee and I were on a pretty strict budget, Jeremy not only helped us out a little bit with the price, but on top of that he still treated us like an A-list client. OMG Jeremy and Brian are absolutely AMAZING!!! They were soooo good that during our wedding we actually forgot they were there. (Sorry guys). We never felt like we were being watched or videotaped so we got to live in that moment and they captured every one of those precious seconds. They made sure they were never in the way of the bridal party or our photographer thus why it felt like they were never there. Haha. They captured the best and special moments of our wedding and when we got our wedding video back Holy Smokes it took our breath away, we even cried. We got married in the church so we could not say our own vows (we had to use the church vows) so instead we wrote our vows to each other and read them before our ceremony. We read out loud what our vows were to each other & they were able to incorporate our vows to each other beautifully in the video. The entire video made you feel like you were right in that moment all over again and for our guests who couldn't make it to the wedding it felt like they were there the entire time.
