First off - look no further. Jason is amazing at his craft and you will not be disappointed with his work. We are over the moon happy that we had Jason and Taylor films as our videographer on our wedding day. From the get go, Jason was so easy to communicate with. He has professional communication, documentation and is so easy to get along with. Leading up to the wedding, he kept in communication with us and made us feel like he had everything he needed, and that we did not have to stress over anything. The day of, he was a leader, he kept us on time and communicated kindly all day with us. We felt like we had a friend who was trying to make sure we were completely taken care of. Him and his second shooter showed up on time and we had zero issues. After the wedding, Jason gave us our sneak peek timely and we got nothing but rave reviews. We were over the moon happy. We have our full length documentary video and montage now. Jason was also timely about presenting this to us. Jason is so talented; it's hard to put into words. The whole product is clean, artistic and brings back the day. I feel like I'm there every time we watch it. There are things I don't even remember that he captured. I would hire him in a heartbeat again. I am so happy that it makes me cry even thinking about our video. I will treasure it and watch it on our anniversary of course. Note - he also just went above and beyond in the editing process and he was so skilled. Please note, I did so much research leading up to the wedding, and every person I talked to wish they had hired a videographer. I'm so glad we took that advice. read more

I could not have picked a better videographer to capture our April 2022 wedding at the Westgate Hotel in downtown San Diego. Jason and Michael were absolutely amazing to work with!!! Jason was so attentive and kind throughout our entire wedding planning process. We were one of the 2020 COVID cancelled weddings and had to cancel our date 3 times before finally landing our final data in April 2022. Throughout that entire process Jason remained kind, understanding, and supportive. He did his absolute best to work with us through all the tough circumstances and we were so grateful for his kindness. The wedding day itself was fantastic and Jason and Michael were so great at keeping everyone comfortable. He and his team were prompt and on time and were sure to capture all of our moments. It was honestly amazing how they did their work without "being seen". I had multiple guests comment on how the videographers did a fantastic job of working in the background. We were so happy with the final products that Jason provided us with (our full video, sneak peak, and 10 min montage). We have enjoyed being able to relive that day through the beautiful work that they did. We would 100% recommend Jason and his team for any brides and grooms look for a videographer for their special day. A+, professional, and kind. 5 stars all around! read more

Jason is absolutely incredible! We would highly recommend hiring him and his team for all of your videography needs! We originally hired Jason to film our wedding in June 2020, but due to COVID, we had to postpone until May 2021. During all the stress of postponing the wedding, Jason was extremely accommodating, allowing us to move our date as needed due to the pandemic, which was a huge relief. Fast-forward to our actually wedding in May 2021 and Jason and his team could not have been more engaged and personable! From getting the best video clips to working with our photographers on capturing everything, Jason is a true professional. They captured the major details, as well as the minor details, and did an incredible job balancing the serious as well as the organically funny moments. In reviewing the final product, we honestly could not have been more pleased! Our highlight montage came out unbelievable and will absolutely be something we cherish for years to come, allowing us to relive the most important moments of our special day. We are so incredibly thrilled we hired Taylor Films and would highly encourage you to do the same. As another nod to how great Jason is, he even emailed us recommendations for Maui before we left for our honeymoon. read more

Thank you for your hard work Jason! If there was something I was very very picky with during my wedding planning, it was our video. I wanted it to be PERFECT. I mean it's going to be shown to a bunch of people after all! And Jason and his team were so patient and understanding. They listened to my many requests and made sure it was exactly to my liking. I was a huge pain about it, but they handled it completely professionally with no complaints. I am so happy I got to choose my song as well! Also, very affordable, I took advantage of a new year sale and they have a drone! So we were able to capture the gorgeous ocean on our special day! Jason and Trevor were also hilarious, cracking jokes during the whole time and even ran with us to the aquarium to take more shots. The only thing I was a bit bummed about is that they don't do slow motion shots. But it ended up being ok because some of the camera work was really slow and smooth, so our video turned out great anyways. We are so grateful for everything! Thank you so much! read more

We are so thankful for Jason and the Taylor Films team! They captured our wedding day so well. We will treasure the beautiful wedding video they created for us forever. From the very first time we reached out to Jason regarding packages and booking with Taylor Films for our wedding, he was so responsive and helpful. Literally within moments of submitting a request for information online, Jason called us to talk through his process and services. Jason helped us through two postponements due to COVID-19. Finally, on our third wedding date, our wedding happened and Jason went above and beyond to create an amazing film of our special day! He made us comfortable every step of the way. Jason is an expert and so talented. read more

Amazing work! I needed several promotional videos for my business and Taylor Films delivered exactly what I wanted! When we hired Jason for our wedding back in 2010, it was a month away, we had already hired all of our vendors (months earlier) and were already over our budget. I called him mid-panic attack because I was afraid I'd regret not having a videographer. He met with us right away, showed us a great product, and just communicated what he could do for us. Even though our big day was right around the corner and he really could have turned on the pressured sales pitch and taken advantage of my panic, he didn't. He sold me on his product and his personality. I crossed my fingers and hoped it was the right decision. My husband was still a (budget minded) skeptic. After the wedding, our video was ready quickly, he gave us so many copies we gave them as gifts and he was very interested in our feedback. The video was absolutely unbelievable and more than we ever could have hoped for. Yes, it was expensive. Yes, we were over budget. Yes, it was perfect and worth every single penny. When he says "You won't even know we're there." he is not kidding. Other than some of the staged photo ops, I don't even remember seeing Jason or his wife. From what I do remember : ) he was professional, friendly, funny and knew where to be before we even knew what we were doing! It was also really important to me that he and my photographer Andy King worked well together, so they weren't in each others way. It was like they were a perfectly choreographed team. My husband even agreed it was one of the best decisions we had made! As I sit here watching our video with our baby daughter (better than Baby Einstein!), dancing together to our "montage" it still brings the laughs, tears, joy and excitement of that day...almost two years later! Jason is amazing. I have and will continue to recommend him. Thank you, Jason, for helping us relive the day over and over. What a gift. read more

You're memories are safe with Jason! Besides being incredibly professional, Jason is a great person! Everyone who watched our wedding video was very impressed! Jason was very easy to with with and such a pleasure to have as a huge part of our wedding day! Jason and his team captured our day in a beautiful way! We originally were supposed to get married June 2020 but sadly had to postpone due to covid... They were so accommodating and helpful with my ever changing wedding date. I can't thank them enough for a beautiful job! I would use Jason Taylor films over and over again! read more

Taylor Films made our wedding feel like a Hollywood film. Every single person who watched our highlight reel had tears in their eyes. It truly captured all of the love and joy of our day. Many brides wonder is video is worth it, with all of the other expenses. If you choose Taylor Films, video is ESSENTIAL for your big day. They capture so many moments, small and big, that you might otherwise forget. Their work is UNPARALLELED. My only drawback in writing this was that my husband and I got hounded to write a review immediately after it was finished. Multiple contacts across texts and emails. That was a little frustrating. But it didn't take away from the quality of their amazing work. Don't hesitate- hire Taylor Films! **update: Jason responded right away apologizing for the multiple review requests. He explained that he just hired a company and the the requests were automated- he is fixing the issue! My husband & I could not be more pleased with Jason & his team!! From start to finish Jason was so easy to work with. He willingly answered all my silly questions throughout the entire process and never once made me feel like I was bothering him. Come the wedding day ... he knew how anxious I was and truly made me feel SO comfortable. He always made sure to remind me that I was on film and to remember to smile through my nerves which I thought was so helpful! Even my bridal party was saying how amazing he was! We really couldn't thank him enough for his tremendous job, and we absolutely loved his work! Everything was captured perfectly. Thanks again Jason & team! read more

Taylor Films was amazing! From the initial phone consultation to the wedding day to the final product, we were very happy with them! Jason is very personable, answered our questions, and explained everything we needed to know. We were debating even having a videographer for our wedding. We figured the photos would be good enough. We were so glad to have the video as well! Jason and his team were extremely professional and discreet during the wedding day. We didn't want to feel like we had paparazzi. The final product was amazing. We didn't want a 'cheesy' wedding video, we just wanted to relive the day in the most natural way possible. Jason really listened to what we wanted and he did an incredible job delivering! Highly recommended. *My husband wanted me to especially mention Jason's wingman (I forgot his name!) on our wedding day because he told my 'husband to be' he had never seen a groom so calm and relaxed when in fact my husband was very nervous to stand in front of so many people during the ceremony! He really appreciated that compliment :-) read more

Where do I even start? Let's put it this way. As soon as my wife saw the highlight reel from Jason, I heard "OMG . . . this looks like a movie." There is a reason that he doesn't call this "Taylor Wedding Videography" because Jason is more than just a videographer. He is a storyteller and a filmmaker, who will beautifully capture the nuances and details that make your wedding special. Jason is prompt, kind, courteous, and wonderful to work with. Don't think about who to hire --- just hire Jason Taylor and his team! He has quality equipment, quality staff, and a quality ethic! read more

When planning our wedding, we were unsure about hiring a videographer. Our wedding coordinator suggested that we meet with Jason Taylor to discuss our options and view his work. We were initially very impressed with his website, and upon meeting him in person, we were put at ease with his easygoing and professional attitude. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, and he also had several wedding videos to show us to give us an idea of what he could capture and create. On the actual day of the wedding, Jason and his crew helped calm my nerves. Jason was definitely the most memorable vendor we had as he was incredibly thoughtful and sensitive to helping alleviate the little stressors that occurred throughout the day, in addition to documenting all of our special moments with family and friends. Thank you so very much, Jason! We absolutely love our video, and you captured the most amazing moments from the wedding. It has been so nice to relive our wedding through our video, and I would absolutely recommend that everyone hire Jason Taylor for the quality of his work, professionalism, and easy-to-work-with personality. read more

As I recently wrote in a note to Taylor Films "Jason, Jason, Jason...OH MY GOODNESS!! There are not enough adjectives to describe your work! I get misty-eyed and goose bumps every time I watch the highlight video. And the Blu-ray? Forget it. Cry like a baby!" Thank you so very, very much, from the bottom of this crazy mother of the bride's heart. On a more practical note, Jason was a breeze to work with; he and his team were fun, organized, engaged in the day, and consummate professionals. A definite must hire! As most couples these days we were cost conscious as we were paying for the wedding ourselves so videography was what my fiance considered not a necessity. I insisted and hired Jason and it was one of the many great decisions I made in the wedding planning process. Nobody tells you that you don't actually see your own wedding and my groom certainly didn't expect it to go by as fast as it did. Two days after the wedding he tells me I am so happy you hired a videographer because I don't remember all of our wedding details and its going to be nice to have. Mind you this is before he even saw a minute of footage! I watched at least 3 dozen wedding videos by at least a dozen different videographers when trying to select the right person and ultimately I was lucky enough to get my first choice - Jason. I had a modern Persian wedding and not the traditional boho garden flower crown wedding that is so popular these days. His videos are clean, well edited and fresh. I wanted voice-over video so I could hear people speeches and the vows and he did an INCREDIBLE job capturing the highlights. I have now watched my own video upwards of 50x and LOVE it. I am a type A bride and he exceeded my high standards. I have had several friends tell me that this is the best wedding video they have ever seen. read more

We couldn't be happier from the professionalism that Jason Taylor brings with him. He and hi staff were wonderful in making themselves available in for all the occasion regarding our save the date, ceremonies, cocktails, and reception. The products that he provided to us are at a very high quality, well organize, with a great story telling. We are very pleased of the results. One of our requirement was to find someone who knew the location for our events. They were very familiar with the places and were able to create wonderful videos and memories for us. Highly recommended! Taylor Films represents high quality consistency, talent, professional expertise, and excellent customer service when it comes to video. Taylor Films is a preferred vendor at our venue, Grand Tradition Estate. I met Jason Taylor at their Bridal Faire. Jason is very personable, knowledgeable, and willing to work with your budget to have a video package that works for you. My fiance and I were first on the fence about adding video to our budget. However, we decided to do it for the sentimental value. After considering the fact that we always look back on our "One a Day" videos (it's an iPhone application) and the fact that we lost my grandmother before we could plan the wedding, we realized we wanted to capture our wedding day and the people who came in motion. Photos provide beautiful snapshots to tell the story of your wedding but video can capture how people interact, sound, and all the nuances that create the emotion in the moment. There are so many details happening and people that pull your attention on your wedding day that being able to relive it and see in a different perspective is valuable. In price shopping and researching other videographers, Taylor Films ended up as my gold standard that I compared all other videographers to. Honestly, I feel like they are the best. Day of, Jason and his assistant were very professional, personable, and worked seamlessly with our photographer from True Photography in setting up shots without getting in the view of our guests. They were like ninjas! An awesome benefit is that Taylor Films not only offers a hard copy of all your video but also an "online theater" where anyone with your personal link can view your videos. All the videos are organized like a DVD where there are "chapters." PERFECT for sharing! Our family and friends loved it. read more

Jason is an absolute pleasure to work with! He is enthusiastic, very responsive, and our final product turned out amazing. I was planning my wedding a year ago and stumbled upon Taylor films website through wedding wire. After looking through video made by tarlor films I made the appointment to discuss package pricing. I signed the contract that day. It was the best decision I made for the wedding. The video captured every special moment of the wedding. Your wedding day flies by so fast that you really don't get to enjoy the moment. The video helps make you relive all the moments you don't remember of the day. Jason and his team are great at what they do. They are professional. The video quality is amazing. Best of all, they blend in with the guest. You don't even know they are there. I was amazed at how invisible they were but everything in the video shows me they weren't. If you need a videographer with professionalism and excellent quality work, go with Taylor films, you won't regret it. I certainly didn't. read more

We used Jason and his team for our wedding last November. To quote my amazingly generous (but sometimes crass) father's reaction after seeing our highlight video, "Wow! That guy was worth every f*cking penny." He really, really was. My husband and I both feel slightly uncomfortable being filmed, but working with Jason put us at ease. He's funny, very likable, and incredibly talented. I can't thank Jason enough for working with us to create a video that captures our day in its entirety. I love that I can relive such an important, magical day and highly recommend contacting him if you're in need of a videographer. read more

Jason was such a pleasure to work with!! He exceeded all of our expectations!! When it came to preparations, he was open to all our ideas (drone shots, must have shots, timelines, etc). On the day of our wedding, his team arrived on time. Right when they got there, the cameras were literally rolling in just a few minutes. This guy and his team meant business! Haha And I'd like to highlight the fact that it didn't even feel like they were there. When it came down to the finished product, we were speechless. He was able to capture everything and more! Since our wedding was such a blur our video gave us a chance to re-live our special day!! So thank you Jason for everything!! Jason did an excellent job filming an ad for my six pack charter "The Long Run". He got some amazing footage of our guests landing some big Dorado and even captured some amazing underwater footage. The drone perspective was another very professional touch. He really knew how to splice in my narrative and got the clients to showcase the catch very well. I'd highly recommend Jason. read more

Jason and team did an excellent job filming our wedding at Mt. Woodson last year. We were so happy with the final product. I went back and forth on whether to spend money on a videographer, but SO happy we did - worth every penny. The day is a happy blur and hard to remember all the details (speeches, ceremony, decorations) unless you have it filmed. Plus fun to see all your guests interacting and having fun. I highly recommend a videographer, especially Taylor Films. They came recommended to me, and if you can get them, I wouldn't look anywhere else - just book! read more

If you really want best of the best films in your wedding date! I highly recommend you Taylor films. I got married in August 1st 2015 Marina Village, San Diego, CA. I did google search a few wedding websites but I didn't find anyone better than Taylor Films after reading their crew films profile and contact Jason. Jason is very fast response to my questions phone, email, text in time (I text him like midnight and got return in a second) and very professional. Even though he doesn't available film on my wedding date but his screws Jerad Cullen and Zeke was there available. Jerad and Zeke are very easy, nice guys and professional, their contact me before wedding regarding location, time...these guys work very hard on my wedding date. I remember request films only 8hours but their cover almost full day and night with no extra charges, so Jerad/Zeke didn't miss any shot in my wedding moment or activities. After films, Jason himself took his time carefully review edit video and ask me which song and shots in 3-5mins footage. I gave him a list of shots and I got them all in next day! like I said these guys didn't miss any moment or activities! Jason gave me a few set Blu Ray DVDs and I promise give him 1TB USB drive for raw data but I didn't then he just gave me a free 1TB us drive :). There is no better Jason himself as Taylor films (http://www.taylorfilms.com). This is confirming that why Taylor films got best review ever. My husband & I were on the fence about hiring a videographer. We weren't sure it was something that we'd ever watch again, not to mention the added cost to our budget. After looking at the samples on your site, we decided that we'd regret not having our day captured on video. From the first time we met, we knew that we'd made the right decision in hiring you, not to mention my husband was sold on the fact that you shot everything in HD. We were amazed with the product that you delivered to us!! We've already watched it 3 times and have shown it to several friends & family members. Everybody loved it. Some of our friends have even watched it again....on their own. It was obvious that you spent a lot of time putting it together to create something that we would want to watch over & over again. The music fit perfectly with the images. You were able to capture the details of our day better than we had imagined. The day just flew by and everything just became a blur. When we got our video we were able to relive our day all over again and see all that we missed. You were very discrete about your filming and never interfered with anything that was going on. A few people were concerned about a camera constantly being in their face but that wasn't the case at all. You made the day fun for everybody. Without any doubts, we would gladly recommend you to other couples planning their wedding. Having a videgrapher is a must! You take great pride in your work and it shows. Thank you for everything! If you are looking for a videographer for your big day, look no further than Taylor Films. Jason filmed our wedding on October 18, 2014 and he was amazing. We actually had booked him way back in August of 2012, but as soon as we met with him, we knew he was the right choice. He showed us several video samples and talked with us about his different packages, prices, etc. He was very approachable, easy to talk to and has a great personality. He answered all of my emails right away and really listened to what we wanted. The day of the wedding, he arrived early with excitement and a smile on his face. He acted so professional and put everyone at ease. He encouraged everyone to be as natural as possible and I honestly didn't even notice he was there. He even had his drone to get ariel shots of our wedding and reception venue (so cool!!!) After the wedding, I was SO excited when I received the link to our highlights montage. I watched it over and over and over again and was in awe at what a great job he did. I couldn't wait to receive the finished product, and once again, was thrilled when he sent me a link to an online theater to watch it. He was kind enough to edit and make some changes to the video after I viewed it, and I really appreciated his patience with the whole process. Once it was all edited, we received a package with our DVD's. I loved how he put the labels on the DVD covers, as well as the discs, with our picture on it. Such a nice touch! We also received the raw footage which was so much fun to watch, especially because during your wedding day, you miss a lot of the smaller details. It's fun to look back on what everyone was saying and doing while they were getting ready! I guarantee you will not regret hiring Jason for your wedding, or any other special event! At first, hiring a wedding videographer was not on our wedding to-do list. We thought pictures would be enough. But then at the last minute (last minute as far as wedding planning goes) we decided that we absolutely needed a videographer to capture our day. If you are on the fence about hiring someone to record your big day, stop hesitating because the memories are beyond worth it. I researched a lot of videographers and looked through their portfolios. Taylor Films by far had the most natural looking wedding videos I could find. None of that cheesy outdated looking stuff that some people expect. We were so lucky that they had an opening on our day because he books up so fast. Jason was our main photographer and he stuck with me most of the day. His assistant was on groom duty during the beginning. I couldn't have asked for a more professional team. Before our wedding day, Jason was always available to talk by phone and incredibly quick to respond by email. He had the whole timeline planned out, gave me so many options in regards to what to include in our video, and when the big day came he arrived on time and ready to go. Besides the occasional cue or verbal direction, I could hardly tell that Jason was there filming. During our reception, I definitely forgot he was even there because he and his assistant did a great job at blending in while still getting all of the perfect shots. Our finished products, a short video montage and a full night's video edit, were absolutely perfect. read more
