1 am extremely disappointed with the service provided at Midas in Owings Mills…read more On multiple occasions, I sent female family members there for something simple: a tire plug. In both instances, the technician claimed there were five to seven nails in the tires. While road hazards do happen, that number raises serious concerns. It feels highly improbable and, frankly, suspicious. Side note:if the nail or scre is in the middle of the tread you're good for a plug! Don't let snake oil salesman tell you need new tires. Witness the tire removal and test process. Don't trust their practices. The end result? Nearly $800 for two tires and an alignment, justified with statements like, "It's standard to do it, miss." That explanation came across as dismissive and condescending. It is difficult not to feel that women are being upsold or pressured into unnecessary services at this location. To make matters worse, one of my family members was sent away during a snowstorm with the remaining two tires underinflated. She then had to stop at Royal Farms down the street and pay to inflate them herself. That is unarcentable and uinsafe. My concern is simple: customers -- particularly women -- should not feel taken advantage of or pressured into expensive repairs without clear, transparent justification. If you choose to go here, I strongly recommend closely observing the work being done and asking detailed questions before approving additional services. This experience has left a very bad impression. Professionalism, transparency, and customer safety should never be optional. -V(for the wommen in America review) P.s. I'm a guy writing this at the request of my female friends saying I shouldn't! I have been exposed to the inner workings of the automotive industry for 32 years and men specifically are taking advantage of women! My family members is where I draw the line. I'm calling you out and hope women listen to this and make more selective decisions! If you need assistance, reach out to us and we can help you avoid this!

Zero stars if I could…read more On Saturday, we brought a federal government fleet vehicle to this Jiffy Lube location on York Road for a routine oil change. The service receipt listed Kai and Darryl B as the technicians. Monday morning, while turning onto FDA Boulevard en route to Silver Spring ( nearly an hour away), the vehicle experienced a critical failure. Multiple warning lights illuminated simultaneously, and the engine began to smoke. Upon inspection, the vehicle was found to be completely out of oil. This created an immediate safety hazard and left us stranded roadside. We were forced to coordinate alternate transportation via another fleet vehicle to reach our destination, and ultimately had to obtain a loaner vehicle due to the condition of the van. This incident reflects a serious failure in basic service execution and raises significant concerns regarding whether the oil change was properly completed at all. The level of negligence involved placed occupants at risk and could have resulted in severe engine damage. This experience demonstrates a complete lack of quality control and regard for customer safety. I strongly caution others against trusting this location with their vehicle. This matter is being documented and may be escalated further due to the potential liability and safety implications involved.

This is what I get when I bring my vehicles to Jiffy Lube for oil changes. Jiffy Lube doesn't require an appointment. A lot of the time I base my visits on driving by and seeing there isn't a line. Usually I am in and out in less than 30 minutes. Jiffy Lube changes my oil, lets me know what else they may have noticed during the change but don't really try to sell me things I wasn't planning on when I came in. This is a far cry from other quick oil change places I've visited in the past. Price wise, Jiffy Lube seems comparable to other businesses in the area that specialize in fast oil changes. I will continue to visit this place for my oil change needs until they give me a reason not to.

Within five minutes of me sitting in the lounge, the technician, Lamar brings in my cabin filter and says I need a new one. I couldn't even understand what he was saying he was mumbling so bad. I had him repeat it. He said "cabin filter". I looked at the dirty filter and said "how much will that be?". He said $49.99. I said "no thank you". I looked up the filter on Amazon and it was $11 and will be at my house today (overnight). The representatives of this Jiffy Lube were less than impressive and courteous. When I got in my car, it smelled like marijuana. Some people might like that smell, I do not. Then as I was driving home the entire front of my car was smoking. When I pulled in the driveway, my husband came out and said "what the hell?", you just had an oil change and paid $93. So he called the store and whoever answered the phone and spoke to him basically said "there was nothing wrong with the oil change service provided , the new oil filter they put in or the service performed. That was it and they hung up. My husband was furious and he said to me "they absolutely could careless". Needless to say, we won't go back to Jiffy Lube anywhere ever again.

My wheels are factory powdercoated (Toyota TRD Pro) and the shop chose to use a die-grinder to "prepare" the surface to adhere stick on wheel weights. This irreparably damaged the finish of my wheels and left large silver streaks on an otherwise flat black set of wheels. This is also not an industry standard practice as they should have used solvent/cleaner to prep the surface. Their only suggested resolution was to offer to spray paint my wheels and refund me $400 for the cost difference in the tires. Spray paint is not anywhere near as durable as powder coating and would not bring my wheels back to the condition they were before this shop damaged them. They also have not actually provided the refund they promised although it has been 6 weeks and I've followed up many times. Absolutely TERRIBLE experience with a shop that takes ZERO accountability. And for Monroe Customer service, I've already called you and left a voicemail at that exact number. You did not respond. I also sent a message electronically through your "contact us page", which you also didn't respond to, so let's not pretend like calling you solves anything. If you want me to provide more info why don't you start by returning the call and electronic message I've already sent to you?

I had another problem _ I needed to have the metal bars (to hold the hanging folders ) shorter to fit into my file cabinet and they so very kindly did that for me! What a life saver! I'd have spent endless hours trying to do it myself and not succeeded. If you want the real thing - honest, thorough, competent auto service, - go to Bob and Brian at Adolph's! They will treat your car as if it were there own, and treat you just as well. A well deserved 5 star rating!
