This is about corporate not knowing where the cables are run. We winter in Yuma and decided to have the cable run from the street to our home. When I called, several calls, I was told that the cable was not in my neighborhood. What? My neighbors have it. They don't show service to our address. Of course not, we've never had it connected down here. Finally after several calls I got someone that offered to send someone out for a walk out verification that would take 7 to 10 days before anyone could be here. I was told that they would schedule and send an email with the date they would be here. Welll, it's been 48 hours and no email. I figure they may be out after Christmas. When I went down to the office in town I was told that they could do nothing for me, since they had "procedures" they had to follow. I understand procedures, but come on folks, your field service people know where they have run the cable and connected it to other homes how about using their knowledge. UPDATE: I finally cornered a installation person that was in the neighborhood. He came over and verified that YES WE HAVE SERVICE. I had been working with the call center both on the phone and with facebook since 11/27/15 ( it is now 12/10/15) and all their records showed we did not have service in our area. Trying to get someone out here to verify is next to impossible. The installation person took our information and stated that he would give to one of the installation supervisors at the local office. Hopefully we will have internet service prior to us leaving in April 2016. Time Warner you need to do some house cleaning and make sure your records are updated!! read more

I would give them a -10 rating but it won't let me! Worst company in Yuma. They go up on the bill each month then after the 1st year they went up $30. They block channels that you are paying for! Bad service all the way around! read more

This is the worst business for internet. They employ techs who cant fix your modem properly but continue to charge you cor the servicr. What poor customer service. I was on hold for a little more than an hour the first time just to have someone tell me they couldn't find my address. So they blind transferred me. Another 45 min later and they can't seem to find my address. The kicker is my address is right next door to my family who HAS twc. I arrived at the office on 2nd Avenue at about 4:00 pm to drop off a modem. The waiting room was standing room only. I got my number which was 32. They were currently on number 97. There was one employee behind the counter. About a half hour later another customer comes in but does not take a number. He tells me he already got a number an explained that he stops by on his way home from work, gets a number, leaves, goes home to change and take shower and then comes back an hour or so later. He shows me his number and it is 12. I'll have to try that next time. read more

Been fuming for a while now and finally at my limit. Purchased service in August per an advertisement in the mail. I got a special "bundle" of $89.97 per month. Being old and on limited income it sounded okay. Few days days later I got a bill for installation which I paid. A few days later I got a bill for $116.??. Called and asked why, was told the box was so much, to which I questioned how many channels can I get without the box....the answer, NONE!!!!!??? What??? In January my bill went up to $120.23. Then my two most watched channels, NBC and CBS, are not available. No olympics, no super bowl, and no soap opera!!!!! Yes, I'm not a happy camper. Thank you for letting me vent. Did it do any good? We've had TWC ever since we'd been in this house. We as in my father and I. I don't own the house, he does. But...we've had some internet and cable issues. We contacted them to see if we could get out cable issues resolved, and to my knowledge...they have been, I normally don't watch TV, my dad does so I didn't really care. How ever I do use the Internet/Wi-fi all the time. And while the tech was here, he swapped out our modem for us...which was covered under contract(his words) so we got an upgrade cause "Our modem couldn't get up to the speeds we we're paying for." So he swapped them out. It wasn't bad with the old modem, it was just lagging or dropping every few hours but it would reconnect within minutes, even seconds with some slow speeds. Nothing too bad. BUT now...It will drop for a good 10-20 minutes, it will disconnect and won't reconnect for maybe an hour, speeds have gotten worse, and all of this happens at lease 8 times a day, to the point a 5 minute youtube video takes 3-4 minutes to load, with consistant buffering. It actually got WORSE with the upgrade of the modem. read more

TWC Yuma is terrible. I purchased a moderate package - 15 Mbs. I can't even reach 2.5. They told me the (used) cable modem that I was given was probably bad, and I needed to return it to TWC for a new one. Spent the time (and you will spend a lot of time) returning it, only to find out I still only get @ 2.5 Mbs. On top of that, I had TWC at a temporary apartment until I was able to move into my house. I returned the equipment to the store, and was assured I would receive a partial credit back on my bill, and I would not longer be enrolled in auto pay. Guess what? Neither happened. If you are considering TWC in Yuma, run away. No good can come of it. read more

By far the worst service we've had. Had time warner for about 6mo until we decided to cancel & switch since all they're chanels are repeated & quality sucked. Turns out they lied to us on our bill charging us more than what we had to pay & they tell us now that we no longer want their services & the representatives are so damn pushy to make you try and stay after you keep telling them you want to cancel or downgrade. Yeah it's been a horrible experience not even one of the few things we've gone through w/ twc just horrible. We will be staying for Internet but that's it. read more

Part #1- So I just got the time warner cable internet service in Yuma,AZ, I got to tell you I'm already getting a bad vibe on this, it took me about 20 times just to get them on the phone to order yesterday, now I'm at the actual TWC store to pick up the wired they told me I need to hook up my modem to have Internet service, they wanted me to rent their equipment for $10 extra a month which I think that's garbage to so, so I'm at the store waiting in line like I'm at the DMV, I got here at 6:45 am and they open at 7am, I've been waiting now for 34min now, and my number is ticket number is 78 and they just call 55, it just open too! This relationship it's starting rocky already. Prepared yourself if you are planning to get TWC services . I'll Write another review once I test the Internet service. Part2. It took over 2 hours for me to a cable wire they told me I will need where I could've just went to a local hardware store and buy it instead of waiting for a couple of hours, my number came up around 9:30am and finally got the wire. Now I have my internet, so far with the Internet service not bad, now just waiting for my house goods to be delivered from VA so I can actually test the Internet service when I'm gaming online. Will update when I get my stuff. read more

Time warner had been relatively decent, but now that it is Spectrum it is terrible customer service! We called to remove a service knowing the price would go up since it is no longer a bundle and they continued to try to make us keep the tv. They gave us a couple options: high speed with higher price or less speed for less price. After a few "let me put you on hold" (I'm sure talking to their manager to see what they can do) we got a "ok we put it the way you wanted", but we never said if we wanted the fast or the slower option so what the heck did you do?! They almost hung up as we asked wait which speed did you give us? They gave a brief explanation and once again "ok bye have a great day" over my Dad as he asked another question, and then she answered shortly once again and hung up on him! Internet service has slowed to a snail's pace. Download speed is supposed to be 100 Mbps. Not even close. The service is definitely no worth the money. Spend more for a data plan on your phone. read more

This service really sucks. My Internet and cable stop working for days at a time & when I call I get ZERO help. Instead, customer service makes promises about crediting us but makes no record of that promise on our chart so we never have proof of being told that. We call over and over and never make progress. The customer service just really sucks & flat out lies. They say they make notes in the chart, but when you call the next time they claim there is never any record of anything. Awful customer service. Husband went to Afghanistan for 6 weeks, I put our cable and internet on a seasonal hold, now that we are back Time Warner said their seasonal hold has a 2 month minimum, so we'll have to pay the full price for the time he was in Afghanistan risking his life so Time Warner can have the freedom to bamboozle good customers. I have used TWC internet for several years. Recently it seems that all I get is 'internet not responding' when I try to bring up a search item. I then have to wait until the internet somehow recovers and I can continue. I do not understand the technical part of the internet so I have no idea why this is constantly happening. It sure makes me wish I could get an internet service that works all the time. read more

As a subscriber to Time Warner Cable, I am not happy. Not that I have a choice as to what cable company I subscribe to living here. I enjoy watching KTVK TV 3 from Phoenix. I only watch the news since everything else they broadcast is blocked by the local stations based on FCC regulations. The anchors/reporters are professional and I get more Arizona news from them than KSWT and KYMA put together! We get more California news from the local stations than we do Arizona. I don't live in California! As of Monday May 21 I am no longer able to view this station. Time Warner has taken this off. I do not agree with this as do many people I work with. read more

This complaint is as a result of false advertising: I called Time Warner cable to have my internet service moved to my new address, and while talking with the representative I was offered a deal on cable TV. I initially had refused the offer because I was still in a contract with Direct TV. The time warner representative told me I would qualify for a $300.00 gift card to pay for my early termination fee with Direct TV. At that point I agreed to switch my service from Direct TV to time warner. I called and disconnected Direct TV, and paid the early termination fee, Two weeks later Time Warner told me I do not qualify for the $300.00 gift card. This is only after they installed their service and I had already paid the early termination fee to Direct TV. I called to rectify the situation, and was told they aren't going to do anything about it. I feel the $300.00 gift card was only offered so that I would agree to switch to them. They lied to me about their offer, and now they are refusing to keep their end of the deal. Time Warner is deceitful and unwilling to rectify their mistake. UPDATE: I checked my status as "Stephanie" suggested and the issue is still not resolved. Direct TV refunded my early cancellation fee, and I have re-connected with them. I have made arrangements to disconnect ALL of my services with Time Warner and will never go back. read more

Time Warner was ok but not great service. But...Spectrum is a joke. I cancelled service end of April 2017. I had an overpayment. I called again today May 17 to make sure my overpayment was on its way...HO HO HO. I was told that they only processed the cancellation 2 days ago. 2 full weeks after I cancelled and that my refund of overpayment would take 6-8 weeks. Yes that's right 6-8 weeks. I was told when I challenged the extended delay that that is their standard. WOW...Crappy standard. If I didn't make a cable payment for 8 weeks do you think that Spectrum would carry me and allow me to continue service. UH NO. Of course not. So sadly customer service doesn't exist and there is a double standard of service. Not in the favor of the customer of course. If I could give them zero stars I would have. I was also told they do not have a hard address to address customer concerns. They only have managers and supervisors to handle customer complaints but the standard is in their favor. Sorry customer. Oh well glad I cancelled service with Spectrum. read more

If there was a way to give a lower score I would. I have been dealing with store for years after my service. When I had the service it was terrible most of the time and decent on its best days. When I finally decided to move on I turned everything in and cancelled my account at the store. A few months later I get a bill for a remote. I then explain to them that I have the receipt for me turning it in and that I will not be paying for it. I then have to drive to the store to show it to them to get it settled. Another couple months go by and now I have a bill for modem. I explain that I have the bill I have shown them the bill and that I have moved to San Diego and do not wish to drive to Yuma to prove that I have turned everything in. They look through their receipts see that I have turned it in and close the account again. Fast forward 2 years later. I pull my credit report and see that Time Warner has sent me to collections twice for around $120 and for a bill around $40. I call and yell at them and they can not find anything stating that I owe them anything. A month later the collections are reascended. A month in half later guess what is back $120. I call the Time Warner furious at this point. Now I am told that the modem the cost $59 is outstanding and I need to pay to get it removed and even if I have the receipt it would only send my account into a dispute status until resolved. Over they are thieves and con artist who happen to sell Internet access and cable. DON'T FALL FOR THEIR LIES!!!!!!! read more

Today is the day! I have been waiting years to disconnect and finally did it today. I have had many issues including dropping internet multiple times a day, rude customer service, incompetent tech support, and passing the buck on problems. I was actually told on more than one occasion "what are you going to do? you have nowhere else to go we have a monopoly" which at the time was true.... but not any longer! They became responsive when I called to cancel service, too little too late my friends. I researched the issues I was having and believe that Time Warner intentionally refuses to fix issues if you do not rent their modems. They have the ability because they use the same modem they just wont do it in order to make you pay the additional fees. Well TW, your attempts to get the extra $7 per month rent just cost you a $50 a month customer. I paid for Turbo internet and was told we had to call in at the end of six months to keep the same charge. The last time I did they reduced my service to basic without telling us, thats how they maintained our fee level. This company has a rotten businesses model, and unethical practices. I would like to see a class action lawsuit for their lack of service fulfillment. count me in when it happens. read more

I met a guy who works for them and was pretty nice and chill so give him a call instead of the 1(800) number if you want someone to answer within a few rings of the phone to get you set up give him a text or call at 951-400-2337 his name is Daniel he can set you up super quick and he can get you guys free installations. And remember time warner cable does not require a contract for its tv Internet or phone packages so if you are in a apartment complex and don't know how long you will be living there then time warner is the best choice in my opinion. I remember having direct and Verizon and my bill was huuuuuuuge and they had me in a freaking headlock with that damn contract never again tho if time warner does anything crazy with me I'll have to cut it too but so far I've had it for about 6 months and can't complain saving a grip of money and got better service it seems figure that one out lol but anyways give my boy Daniel a call an see if he can help you out too. read more
