Wish I could leave zero stars. They were not helpful. When we walked in, someone greeted me and asked how she could help us. I said, "I have 2 questions, really, I need a new phone...and" before I could finish, she walked away. Another person started to help us, they were out of phones so I ordered one. My second question? Every single time I've ever had a problem, customer service over the phone tells me to go to a store and a-z will happen, then i get to a store and the exact opposite happens.. they sold me a product that doesn't work in my situation, wi-fi with free cell service, so when the wi-fi didn't work, they told me the cell service would be less than $20, then two moths later they upped the charge to $25, and then the next month $50. THREE YEARS trying to get Spectrum to correct their billing errors and information. Moved, disconnected all service, and all seemed okay. Then after two years, I started getting email bills for service I hadn't had in months, and after 3 moves with no Spectrum service. Talked with numerous reps -- after spending an interminable amount of time in recorded voice Hades -- and each one either says the problem is fixed, or drops the call. Moved and terminated service in July 2022. In 2025, continued to get "bills" showing a $20 credit due me. I didn't care about the credit; just wanted the auto billing to stop. In July 2025, FINALLY got a decent rep, a $20 gift card was issued, and I thought the matter was closed. Then in Aug 2025 I get another online bill saying I OWE $20. These people don't know their head from a hole in the ground. Customer service is non-existent and a joke. I will tell the entire world how awful they are if I can. I had to input my address and give my name but I refused to give the agent anymore details. The price that was offered started very High, when I said it was too much, she said that a promotion was going on. She gave me a new offer which was also too high. I told her that I was not interested and I will shop elsewhere. The next day, I received a large box from Spectrum with a label that says if I break the label, I'm responsible for the products inside. I immediately called and they told me that since I had the equipment need to finish my order.... First when I called the lady kept trying to sell me everything . Once I finally told her I only want WiFi and nothing else she set me up... but wrote my phone number down. So today at 10am when I was supposed to have them install WiFi the service tech never came because he "couldn't find my address" and then "couldn't get ahold of me". Because they took my phone number wrong. I have 3 family members in town from Oregon and we specifically made no plans this morning to wait for the WiFi guy. When I called customer service they couldn't get anyone today, which I still couldn't understand because if they didn't come to my house and went to their next appointment they should be running ahead of time and should have time to come back to my house. . . Customer service guy I talked to was nice and told me he was sorry but he couldn't do anything else. So I asked to speak to the supervisor. She couldn't help. Nobody could help. They all are helpless. The next time they have is Wednesday... they think people have all the time in the world to sit and wait for the "WiFi man" to come. They won't get my service ever, and I will make sure anyone I know doesn't get their service. We paid for 300mbps, and even when there is only 1 device connected our speed will never get over 130-150 mbps. The internet is constantly disconnecting and interrupting and I am required to reset my router 5-7 times a week just to reset my connection and get stable continuous internet for a few hours at a time. read more

(You need an Acct # to check online). HaHa, how do we even know what our Acct# is if we never received our bill?!! Then, to find out our billing address wasn't even in their system!!! They demanded $291 immediately or we would be sent to collections. ($291 because they bill 1 month in advance)...so we were already being billed for April, and mind you...we were 'past due' for April!!! This all during our Very First Month. Then these buffoons refused to back off the second month, even though we had no contract as they advertised with their $89 Special. By the time we spent 2 days arguing with this joke of a company...They agreed to waive the second month and the installation fee, only to cut our service while we were still on the phone. I am a new spectrum customer that had to cancel service ,because spectrum cannot figure out how to connect a desktop on the first floor and another one on the second floor, My job requires a desktop to be hardwired to the Internet (not wireless) for security reasons. I switched over to AT&T and one guy connected everything by himself in one day and installed cable TV at the same time. AT&T -the technician ran the wires through the outside of the house in order to get the job done. It's pretty common practice for them.. Sorry spectrum but, if you want to install Internet service then.... have the knowledge and resources to wire a house correctly for service you offer. read more

This cable service is terrible from time to time. Example right now, during the Cowboy game, about every 12 to 16 secs, the signal freezes for about a second or two. The is very annoying and calling Spectrum changes nothing. This does not happen all the time but is seems to occur in Cowboy games more often than it should. It should never happen. Shady dealings going on here, my billing cycle ran from May 23rd to June 22nd. I cancelled our service on 2 June due to moving into an area where Spectrum is not available. They would not prorate my bill. I had their service for 11 out of 30 days and have to pay the full amount. They are thieves charging for services that I did not receive. If you decide to go with Spectrum, just know that they will not prorate you bill if you cancel. Time Warner Spectrum has earned the worst customer support for a reason. I own a small hotel and today they decided to deactivate all of my digital adapters by mistake. I have been on the phone for 3.5 hours and spoken to 6 different departments and about 10 different people and nobody can reactivate the digital adapters. The best they have been able to do is offer to send out a salesman in 3-5 business days. I'm at my wits end. @!#$%^&*()) Out of all the people I talked to there were 2 who seemed to care enough to actually understand the problem. Robert in residential tech support and Sean in enterprise technical support. Robert took the time to understand the problem. He knew what the solution was and documented it well. Sean was the guy that actually cared enough about me to solve the problem himself even though he technically wasn't supposed to. Kudos to Robert and Sean. Literally the worst internet I have ever had. My internet was bad but at least passable before Time Warner switched to Spectrum, but now my internet goes out at least 5 times a day and requires me to reset my modem constantly. Every time I have called they try and walk me through restarting my modem and do not listen to my complaints. They have suggested it be my modem, which is not the case. We have our own brand new nice modem - they just want us to rent theirs for an arm and a leg monthly. We had a technician come out and he said he did something with the cables in the attic - the internet went out not 1 hour after he left and there has been no lasting change. On top of that, every time we have measured our internet speed, it is well below what we are paying for. NOT satisfied and looking for other options. I would rather go somewhere else that is more expensive (by not much) and 1000xs more reliable. read more

This rating ^^^^ after just one month!!!!! Well....I guess I should have done my homework better than I did. I am going through a divorce and moved into an apartment complex last month. I was told by the apartment manager (who is a great guy BTW) that they had a special with spectrum of $89 per month for TV and Internet. I called them and they confirmed the price, so I signed up. I was told on the phone that I would be getting my first bill in the mail and I could then set up my account. Well, I got busy and forgot about it and the bill never came. Today I received a text from them saying I owe $264.69 because I had missed last months payment, and I owe for this months bill. Not only was I hit with the first and last months payment on top of my bill for this month, but these are the taxes that are added; spectrum receiver fee on top of the Cable TV cost, extra charge for wi-fi service on top of the internet fee, broadcast TV charge, Franchise fee, Regulatory cost recovery fee, PEG capital fee, State cost recovery fee. You know how you get that dirty used feeling when you know you have been taken advantage of......yup, that is spectrum. As soon as I leave this apartment complex I will immediately switch cable TV service and spread the word as fast as I can. Absolutely worst service ever. Was scheduled to have an appointment for installation between 9 and 10 this morning. At about 10:15 I called customer service and they said that they would have dispatch contact me in 15 to 30 minutes. When I receive the call I was told that they had accidentally scheduled my appointment with a technician who was off and a new technician would make it to my house in 20 minutes. That was an hour and a half ago. I called customer service once again and they said that they had put the wrong contact number in their database and the technician had tried to call me to tell me he wouldn't be there for 2 hours. I have a moving company scheduled at 2 at my old house and I have to be there. Do these people not get it or they just complete idiots? The next lady I spoke to who told me that my number was put in the system incorrectly said that I would have to wait another 15 to 30 minutes to hear from dispatch again. Be sure and check the TWC/Spectrum locations site before going to the New Braunfels location. As of this date the NB site is closed and you will need to go to San Marcos or Universal City. The counter person in San Marcos said there was a fire at the NB location and it wouldn't be opened for a month. Take that for what it is but in any regard check before making the trip. read more

Today marks week 4 of trying to get cable installed in my new condo. The only time they came to bury the cable it was to the WRONG address! Since then they haven't shown up when scheduled. The window is from 8 am to 11 pm. Who is going to bury a cable line after dark? Apparently customer service thinks they do even after you tell them they didn't show up. I live at T Bar M Condo, New Braunfels. They are under a bulk account that allows everyone to have the same package including HBO EXCEPT MY UNIT They have sent out several techs who are unable to get the cable box to be recognized by the time warner system. They have changed out cable boxes. etc, etc I merely pay for HBO and extended programs and get only local TV. They are uanble to get the unit recognized but happy to expect me to pay for this service read more
