Besides the massive increase in price over the years, both at the…read moreend of the promotional period and then price creep, I recently went online to move my service. There were clear options to keep my service at the current plan, or upgrade or downgrade. Since my needs have changed, I decided to downgrade, saving about $25/month. Clicking on "Next", I get a message "Oops! Something went wrong! Try again or call us at [toll free number])". I tried again, with the same result. I tried again. Same result. I tried again, but kept my current plan. No error, and I was able to proceed. I went back. Tried again to downgrade, and again "Oops! Something went wrong!". Tried again, but chose the upgrade option. It worked. I went back. Tried again to downgrade, and again "Oops! Something went wrong! Try again or call us". I tried again, keeping the current plan, and it worked. Now, I may be a little slow sometimes, but clearly, the system is set to deliver the "Oops" message when one tries to downgrade, and if they were upfront about it...as in, "hey, call us so we can discuss your needs and see if downgrading is the right choice for you"...then, I'd still be miffed, but at least I wouldn't call them out for their dishonestly. In the end, I kept the current plan. As soon as the move takes place, I will likely go to Oxio, who are offering a regular, non-promo plan for faster speeds at a lower price. Ciao, TekSavvy.

    I was having trouble with my internet service and phone dropping out so I thought I would switch to…read morea smaller, local company offering internet service through my cable connection which had been solid as a rock. I signed up with Teksavvy and between 8 June and 18 July I had 13 drop outs of internet and phone service. I would have to power cycle the cable modem and service would be restored. During this time I contacted support service and they would find nothing wrong. After cancelling the service and returning the equipment I got an email saying I had failed to return the equipment. I did have an email from them after i had returned the equipment saying I had a credit balance, but they still said I failed to return the phone adapter after I sent them notice of my equipment return tracking data with Canada Post. I have no way of proving that I returned the phone adapter so I am going to pay them $56.44 so they don't turn me over to a collection agency. If you do return equipment to Teksavvy after canceling their service, make sure you take a picture of the equipment in the return box.

I'm…read morethinking that at BEST, I will have to wait a few days to get it fixed, and that is assuming that anyone actually checks the plaintive, pleading message I am going to leave on their "emergency" service hotline. Wow, was I ever pleasantly surprised. After navigating through their phone menu (all I had to do was press 1) a human actually answered! He said someone would come to the house in an hour!! OH MY GOSH!! The guy was an hour late, but he CALLED me to TELL me this! HOLY COW, and he had an excuse, the roads were icy, and I can verify this because I was outdoors early this morning, and it was so bad I nearly slipped and fell 3 times. So anyway, the guy arrives, and he has a Red Sox cap on, which is a risk in this neck of the woods. Vermont, if I had to guess, is 60% Red Sox fans, 40% Yankees fans, so yeah, we were happy about his hat. He is courteous, polite, young and cute (my sister's comment) and he petted the barking dog. He found the problem in 4 minutes (broken power cord, weird) fixed it, and left. No charge! Wow, does it get any better than that? We were all so pleased that we had a celebratory Sidecar. Hey, it's officially still the Holiday Weekend.

The customer service agent tried diligently to help us trouble shoot over the phone, to no avail. She put in a work order, I then told her I had some folks coming to stay in a day, could we get it fixed by that time, oh, did I mention, it was 4pm. No promises but she was going to do her best. Within an hour a very nice service tech dropped off a new box, waited to make sure we got it up and running and we were good to go. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!

I will explain as I go further in the review…read more My day started off with me realizing that I am getting ripped off for paying 115$ for an iPhone 12 and 15 GB. After calling the Call Center, based overseas, and taking 20 mins to inquire about a better offer. Not only was the sound quality unbearable because the call was travelling the Atlantic Ocean, but I couldn't reach a solution. I will quote "We cannot compete with our competitors". After having compared an alternative option. I decided to go to the mall and trade back my phone to get a better offer. Despite being incredibly busy, a sales associate with the initials P.M. approached me and inquired about my request. After having explained the situation, he stopped and began researching a better alternative. With simple questions like, "Where do you work", the gentlemen found the absolute best option for me, with three times the data, and a new phone for 30% cheaper. This gentleman and his manager G, have been the best support and sales associates I have seen in a very long time. The process nearly took two hours but they got it there. I cannot thank them enough. If you are in the Eaton Center, ask about either of them. Nevertheless, there was still a 100$ activation fee, considering I remained in the same company, which I still don't understand. Thoughts Telus? The moral of the story is, PM and G might be the best associates you have on your team. (expecting to hear back about a Bonus) Please figure out what this 100$ activation cost is for because I ain't a new customer. To clients, I seriously hope you get an agent in North America if you have an issue.

With his exceptional knowledge he was able to suggest the wireless setup since I didn't want wires in my man cave. With the way local cable companies rip you off Cody saved me approximately $60.00 a month on my cable bill. With the extra savings I was able to setup a TV outside on my patio and order the Sunday NFL ticket. Talk about the $$ package thanks Cody and your staff. I recommend giving Cody a call today if you want good service while saving $$$.

    I want to update my review because after years of being very happy with Customer service from Cody…read moreI want to warn people to beware. I am not sure what has changed for him and his business practices but he has gone from being upfront and stellar with customers to not being truthful or at least not being completely truthful and then not following up on what he says he will do to make it right. It has been several months now because I had hopes that he would follow through but it is clear that he is not going to. Beware if you are a current customer and want to upgrade call company directly and go through them so you don't have to figure out what is truth and get caught up in Cody's shady practices. You may not get the deal Cody says he can give but considering he doesn't follow through it won't cost you the hundreds of dollars extra it cost me.
