I went to the store to get two smartphones and two tablets in May. I was told that I would get $100…read morebonus credits which would be credited to my account in my second / third bills. I also got an additional $125 credit for trading in my iPhone 3. However, none of these credits were shown on my second / third bills. Then I called the customer service hotline and they asked me to go back to the store to have it corrected. When I called back the salesperson I dealt with, she told me she could not find my bill and asked me to email her a copy. Then she got her manager to credit me $50 first. And it took two more weeks to credit me the $125 trade in credit after I called them a few more times. Then I needed to wait for the following bill to have the remaining $50 bonus credited to my account. They also allow you to cancel any devices within 15 days of purchase. I returned one of the tablets I purchased within the 15 day period which was a Samsung tablet. The monthly financing for this device was $27.xx. But I kept the LG tablet which costed $10 for monthly financing. Six months later, I found out they actually cancelled my LG tablet and charged me the price of the Samsung tablet in the monthly financing. And the balance owing of the tablet was always $500+ in my account which was wrong because the price for the LG tablet was only $240 if I bought it outright. You can see it was a real hassle to correct all these problems. One more thing I want people to aware. I used to use Wind as my mobile phone service provider and I rarely used over 5GB per month even though I turned the data usage on 24/7. After switching to Rogers, it became very easy to go over 5GB even though I sometimes turned the data usage off. I am not sure if Rogers scams on the usage or their infrastructure causes users to use more data than they need to. And their connection is poorer than Wind. Wind does not have wide coverage as Rogers does but I rarely dropped calls when using Wind. I drop calls very often with Rogers and my calls disconnect in times making me hard to continue with a phone conversation smoothly.
