We rode our bikes from Hoover and wanted a place to cool off and grab a bite. We had the fish and chips and the meatball sub. Everything was great and our service was quick and friendly. The restaurant itself is very nice and has a good selection of small medium and large tables so you can have any size of group comfortably sat together. About 12-14 of us showed up at 4:00 on a Friday and pushed a couple of tables together to wait for a friend to celebrate her retirement that day. Steve (maybe one of the owners) started yelling at us that we should have called ahead. There were about 4 people at the bar at this time and nobody else in the restaurant area. He just kept yelling that there were too many of us and we should have called ahead so he could have called in extra staff. I told him we wouldn't mind waiting for drinks and he said "that's what they all say." He was so incredibly rude. If we hadn't been waiting to surprise our friends we all would have walked out. He wouldn't let us order drinks from the bar and then automatically added a 20% tip. Many people in the group frequent this establishment but NO MORE!!! It's actually a 4 plus. Prior to COVID19, we would stop in for a drink and appetizers. Quick friendly service and pretty good food. Since COVID19, we've placed orders of pizza (delicious) and fish baskets (tasty) and there was no wait past the time that they said would be ready and the food was hot. Myself and friends have been here several times now and it is beyond hit or miss on the experience you will have. The biggest issue we have had is due to a server they employ. On several occasions when we have had this server, drink refills are kept to a minimum (maybe 2 over the course of the whole meal), plates remain on table even after being finished, checks in on how you are doing almost never and it becomes incredibly frustrating to get their attention. Also, the food is average to good, all reasonably priced, depending on what you get. The last time we were there a friend and I saw a menu item that piqued our interest. It was billed as a chicken and waffle grilled cheese inspired dish. The menu describes it as fried chicken breast with cheese between waffles, complete with a side of maple syrup. Sounds awesome. However, when our food was brought out we could not have been more let down... it was seriously nothing more than a chicken patty, a slice of cheese, between two Eggos. I gave this place 3 stars because there is another server who does an amazing job. She checks on you all the time, is warm and receptive to requests, and keeps your drinks filled. If I go there and see she is my server I know we are in for a much more enjoyable experience. read more

We went there last night for dinner. We had the Jalapeno Slammers as an appetizer. Crispy, fried, not to hot (spicy hot that is) and the dipping sauce was good. My wife had the teryaki wings. Cooked to the right amount of crispiness - fried not baked like some places, but the sauce was a little weak in flavor. I had The Archie burger - two 1/4lb burgers, two slices of bacon, two slices of cheese of my choice, all topped with two onion rings. Served with a pickle spear, seasoned steak fries, lett, tom onion, two pickle slices. It was a good sandwich - definitely a belly buster, but for $10.50 I would have expected REAL ground beef, not frozen burger patties. Big disappointment there, but otherwise a good burger. Will it keep me from going back? No, certainly not. The bar had a good Happy Hour crowd but it was only 4:30pm on a Friday so I'm sure it got busier later. Time & Change is a new sports bar. They have a good menu of pub food (burgers, signature sandwiches, etc.) with nightly food and drink specials. I tried the double-barreled reuben (two all-beef hot dogs grilled, with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing on marbled rye) and it was fabulous. Pigskins (potato skins with cheese, stuffed with smoked pork - I added the house chipotle bbq sauce and a little sour cream) will DEFINITELY be repeated. And the cheesecake: worth it on it's own! I'm going back tonight to have the XXL wings (a signature item) and either the Cuban sandwich (recommended by several) or the 4th and Goal - a half-pound burger, with a huge onion ring surrounding a heaping of pulled pork, covered with cole slaw and surrounded by a giant bun. Oh, and it comes with fantastic seasoned potato wedges. Oh, and they also have a full bar, with a full complement of bottled and draft beverages. Go because it's close to where you live and because the beer is relatively inexpensive. The food is ok, and given the lack of similarly priced restaurants in the immediate area of Sunbury and County Line, its not a bad place to grab some grub. The pizza is the best item on the menu and is made with a good, thin crust, and fresh ingredients for toppings. The other menu items are basic bar fare and after the 5th beer, I'm sure it all tastes pretty good. The spinach dip is loaded with tomatoes so it's chunky...not a bad thing, but just not traditional spin dip consistency. For the food and cold beer, I could give another star, but the service I expected (warm, small-towny, friendly) did not accompany my meal. Although we were waited on quickly upon sitting down, it was a ghost town after that; neither our direct looks nor our empty, clinking beer bottles were getting anyone's attention, and it was not even a busy night there. Prices are good, but I'd pay a bit more if it meant more professional table service and attentiveness. If that isn't an option, make it self-serve...I would be happy to get myself another beer, just like at home. Had I been attended to I might have stayed for a while. The TVs are everywhere and it's not a bad atmosphere. As it was tho, we ended up eating our meal and then heading to a different bar to hang out for a while, and be served when we were needing to be served. Maybe next time we will sit at the bar at Time & Change (pretty small and near the door, so maybe after it warms up outside) and see how that goes for service. read more

This place is great. i recently moved to the area and decided to go in. Not only was I impressed with the love for the buckeyes (think of the song lyrics to Carmen Ohio) The place was very clean and well kept. A nice bar sits to the left with a great bar staff..... Now to the food.... Let me say that the Chicken Bacon and Ranch pizza is the best out there. I mean it, it is just incredible, The BLT is my 2nd favorite thing there. We have been going here since the week it opened. Friendly atmosphere and staff and the menu continues to evolve. Love the spinach artichoke dip and the salads are huge and delicious. Is a very good local sports bar-restaurant . Have recently expanded the number of beers available on draft to include a couple of craft beers from Elevator along with Columbus Brewing IPA. Has a friendly staff with a typical sports bar menu. A couple of stand outs are the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza and the Bacon Jalapeño dip. Burgers aren't bad and the prices are reasonable for what you get. We go there on a regular basis and find that unlike other restaurants in the area, the quality is consistently good. It is nice to have a decent place on the east side of Westerville. Lots of TV's so not locked in to just one event. Very good for the family as well. read more

Have been here several times over the years and always had decent service. Unfortunately, tonight was awful. We sat at one of the tables at the bar, and every time we wanted a refill or place an order for food we had to go to the bar while the tables on either side of us had prompt service and were checked on often over several hours. At first tried to chalk it up to oversight but they weren't very busy and customers at the other tables had come and gone. Can't see going back anytime soon.
