Email communciations with no reply back. Comment: This was an event that took place last year. I decided to post since I became aware of how effective feedback is on this site. Good Morning xxxx, I am just returning from a business trip and see that your team has been out to the house to replace the broken tiles as per our last conversation. There was a broken tile left by the garage I take it to indicate you were here. I want to first start off by saying that as a homeowner, I can only rely on the conversations you and I have had. To refresh your memory, this is the home that we purchased back in Dec 2010 in which your company inspected, recommended repairs to the broken tiles and was awarded the repair job basis your recommendation and reputation with the realtors. When we had the roof inspected for solar installation possibility, we found that the repairs were not competed as recommended. The tiles were not replaced as described in the recommendation report. As a service company / provider, I understand that spot checks helps monitors performance and there may be times you are not aware unless someone says something. That is when I made the call to you back in May to let you know what I had learned on the roof repairs. As you may recall, you and I have had several conversations about this particular repair of tiles (one on scheduling and two on no-shows to come out and evaluate). Our last conversation, I asked what are the expectations of this type of repair so I know what to expect. You explained clearly that broken tiles are to be replaced. Ok. We have an agreement. When I returned back from my trip, I basically looked out side my master bedroom window, upstairs porch and a bathroom window. As you will see with the attached pictures after your company completed the repair or replacement the last time (date stamp on photo is June 22nd), we still have broken tiles. I have no intentions to go up on the roof to inspect but I must say did I misunderstand your statement when I asked what are the expectations? To be honest and straight with you, when I see this type of communication and reliabilty issues, I probably should go up on the roof to inspect to see what has been done. At this point, I do not have high confidence in your company taking this repair has been competed in mind. I know both of us have many other things we need to be doing then to keep going back and forth over this. Please advise your position clearly so I understand what is going with our repair job. Recommendation: No thanks. I have also advised the two realtors involved in this to let them know of the experience. read more

I had the same experience as the first reviewer, Jan. I did have a Dan come out and check out the roof, which he had worked on a year prior and forgotten about, and said he would get back to me with a quote via email. He never did. I called and left messages both at the office and on Dan's cell phone and no one got back to me. I was also referred to them by my realtor and used them to do some small shimming of our roof a year ago. But when I wanted them to check it out again and give me a quote on replacement, they never got back to me. read more

My parents moved into our new home in 2007 and we had leaks from the roof into the house, garage and my new bedroom just months after we moved in. They didn't know who to call or what to do. They met Dan and Laura from Timberline Roofing and Dan said "I'll have one of my guys go up there and take a look." The next day, the leaking stopped and it's been almost 10 years. Last November, mom was trying to sell the house. So, a home inspector inspected the house and noticed that there was a leak spot in the attic. After inspecting the leak spot, he asked her for the company that did the repair. Before he left, he told mom that "It's rare that you find a roofing company that knows what they're doing anymore. Can you give me their phone number?" Usually people ask mom for her phone number, but not this time! Contracted them for a roof inspection and dry rot repair. They got out when they said they would be, they were frank and clear about the work to do, they brought enough men and finished on time, and they charged me a pretty reasonable price for the work. To be frank, that's as good as it gets for a roofing contractor. Would totally invite them back when I need more work done. read more

I interviewed 6 roofing companies and narrowed my search to 3. I learned a good deal during my selection about roofing and found that Dan is the real deal. Dan came to take a look at a leak in our ceiling. He said he'd come back the next day to fix it but I had to work so he said he'd go up on the roof and take a look and call me if the job was more than $250. I had to track him down to get a follow up and he said it was fixed. Then I get a bill in the mail for $395 (which was never approved) and a blurry photo from the ground looking up at the chimney supposedly where they had worked. No direct photos of any repair. The next week it rained and the same drip in the ceiling returned. I tried calling the company several times and get no response from Dan. I hired them to do miscellaneous roof repairs and clean my gutters. They did not clean the gutters and after the first rain of the season water was cascading out of the gutters because they were completely full of leaves. It turns out they did not clean the gutter at all. Would not recommend them unless you are willing to check their work afterwards to ensure it was actually done. read more

I dont know how you get a customer service experience like the positive one below unless you are friend of the company. I have had nothing but problems with this company since the start. They gave an inadequate roof inspection as part of a Nu Century home inspection in 2013 which resulted in my roof leaking after it was repaired. Due to the difficulty getting someone to come during the winter I reached out to Timberline roofing in May of 2014, it is December 2014 and I have not been able to get them to come back to perform the work we had estimated and signed the work order. That was after 5 months of trying to get them to come back to look at the leak not fixed right the first time. Just like mentioned below these passive business men dont even have the fortitude to call me back to say they dont want my business. They would rather run me out and then call me to let me know they cannot come out because it is raining. THERE WAS NO RAIN IN MAY! So how do the people below get help in emergency situations? Or in a timely manner? Cary and Dan will NOT treat you with respect, dignity or anything you would expect from a service provider. Instead Cary would not return my calls but send me an email of someone to get in touch with to do the work from his company, not much of a leader since he cannot even get the rest of the crew to call back a customer. My realtor has repeatedly called them to investigate the situation as well, they have been just as disrespectful and dismissive as they were with me. She is still waiting a return phone call. This company will not help you, roof inspections bidding low and then getting the work only to find out that the bid did not cover what was actually needed to keep your roof from leaking. Good luck when you roof leaks and your positive review turns into water in a bucket and needing interior ceiling and drywall repairs on top of a simple roof patch. I was satisfied with the initial work, but other roofing professionals have clued me in, do not get sucked in. Ask for another roofer to provide your home inspection and AVOID TIMBERLINE ROOFING SOLUTIONS, unless of course you are friends with them, their reviews make it seem like they do great work if they like you. read more

It was quick and easy and the roof looks great! They were able to use part of the original liner that was already on our roof, so they came in just under their original estimate. I recently had Timberline Roofing install a new roof on a home I own in Dublin. In choosing a company to do this job I obtained bids from 5 different roofing companies. Surprisingly, they call came in within a couple hundred dollars of each other. I chose Timberline because they were the only company that pointed out that my gutter and downspout system were inadequate for the house. As a realtor, I have sold over 350 homes. That's a LOT of home inspections and roof inspections that I have been on so, I know that the advice Timberline gave regarding the correction of the downspout problem was spot on. Amazing!!! This company met all the requirements to protect the most important investment I have. My home. Timberline provided outstanding customer service, followed up with professional quality work and maintained the personal care I demand from any contractor. I had approximately 4 roofing companies come out and provide me a bid for the roof. Dan came out and was friendly and knowledgeable . In fact, I called up the company to provide feedback on how impressed I was with his estimate and customer service before I made the decision to go with Timberline and found out he was the owner. I am a first time home owner and had done an extensive amount of research on roofs and contractors but he was able to help educate me even more about the type of material that would be best for my house and the type of material. This was extremely helpful because it allowed me to look at other options that I had not considered. He provided references and the qualifications that all his workers had to obtain to work for him. When the work started they cleaned up every bit of debris at the end of the day. they stayed on schedule and the house looks amazing.
