Went there at about 6 on a Tuesday. Pretty quiet, which was fine after a l9ng day. We had a fried chicken sandwich and a Timber burger. Probably one of the best burger I've had in NEO. It was a smashburger with 2 patties, bacon, cheese, red onion, spicy mayo and bbq sauce. I had them put the BBQ on the side si I could taste the burger. (Not into smothering proteins in sauces.) Fried chicken was great and big. Homemade ranch dressing was excellent. Will definately go back to try an entree. The setting is really cool- like an old log cabin. read more

Very welcoming restaurant with really good food, drinks and service. My partner had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo which was bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious. I've come to love Timber Kitchen. The owners are some of the sweetest and most welcoming people! The interior has such a cozy vibe, and the outdoor patio + bar was such a fun & relaxing time last weekend. The menu has such a wide variety of unique options, from pizza, to sushi, and finally my favorite-- Okonomiyaki (a cabbage pancake!) They also offer fun monthly events like speed dating, drag queen bingo, sushi nights, and tarot readings. Had a great experience at Timber Kitchen last night. Food was great, the owner could not have been more welcoming and the bartender was warm, funny and provided great service. This was a tough review for me to write because it appears they support the LGBTQ community which is a hugely important to me. It's why I rated it with three stars and not lower. I would like LGBTQ friendly establishments to succeed. We were there with friends for our first time attending a plant bingo event. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was poor planning and hopefully they can improve the process for future events. In short, it appears they way over sold tickets and didn't have the staff to support the event. We waited an hour to place a drink order. Food was subpar... Caesar salad was not tossed, nachos with cold lumpy cheese and a mushroom specialty plate that only tasted like vinegar. Again, the crowd was bigger than maybe they anticipated, so maybe the kitchen was overwhelmed. Service was not great. Again we waited an hour before someone helped us. I could have overlooked, assuming it was poor event planning but then after our bills were dropped off, our server came back with different tickets, advising she forgot to charge our friends for their drinks. They had a coke and tea. We assumed because it took an hour for someone to help us that they didn't charge them for the coke and tea (and because no one ever came back to offer a refill). We were wrong. This in my mind was a reflection of how they felt about their customers and service. It's disappointing because we wanted to really like this place. Poor service and food. We came on a Friday night, happy to support a small business that provided vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. I had the cauliflower crust pizza and it was DELICIOUS, my husband had fish & chips and he thought it was average. The chef and owner sat and served us and he had a great sense of humor and made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend giving it a try and supporting this local business, ambiance was excellent (except for the jukebox music) and it's a nice place to spend a relaxing evening out but close to home. read more

If you want a FANTASTIC burger this is the place! We ordered the Timber Burger which is hands down one of the best smash burgers we've ever tasted!! So juicy that we needed extra napkins. The fries are thin and so crispy on the outside and creamy inside. Also we were intrigued by a menu item called Okonomiyaki ( Japanese cabbage pancake) and it was bursting with flavors and SO glad we split it since it was a huge portion. Service was great and friendly. Easy parking in front of the restaurant. Nice local place. Has separate bar area from restaurant. Plenty of tables with comfortable chairs and booths. Upon arrival, we were told that it was going to be a long wait and to order a drink. 35 minutes later, and after being ignored by the bartender, our food came out. The food is delicious, especially the sushi. They have a fantastic happy hour. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is welcoming.

Despite the pretty offensive sign that targeted gingers that i had seen, i decided to look past that and give this place a try. Honestly, the sign should have been all i needed. The sign said something to the sort of " everyone is welcome, even gingers" and being that it is 2022, and hatred is rampant and acceptance is sought everywhere i didnt think it was remotely funny. For starters, the outside is a lovely log cabin, so I was going in there with the expectation of comfort food and warmth only to be greeted by these horrificly painted walls. It was DEAD in there, and I mean i went during normal dinner hours and there was maybe 2 other parties there, that should have been another sign. But i fought my instinct and proceeded with my dinner plans. I truly just needed to know if the vibe i got driving by daily was right. Their cuisine style was some sort of fusion? I think. It was a little confusing, they have pizza and then sushi mixed with BBQ Pork sandwiches. IT was all over the place, certainly not the warm aesthetic i was expecting from a log cabin. We got the pizza, The three little piggies,, and my dough was RAW. I took one bite and stopped. I checked the entire pie and the whole dough was undercooked. We also got a cuban sandwich to share and again, how could you go wrong with something so timeless? No. It was put together sloppily, they forgot the mustard,and my cheese wasnt melted all the way. At this point my date and i looked at each other and called it quits. 15 minutes later the server came by ( still only 3 parties in the place so not sure why the long wait for my check) but all in all i will not be back. They need a revamp of the menu, they need to get the mood right because a log cabin serving sushi just screamed NO, and they need to remember that any hatred, be it a joke or not, is not welcome. read more

My partner and I are new to the area and live close-by to Timber. We've been sampling the local bars trying to find a great local place, and we think we finally found it! We ordered a large number of items and four drinks between the two of us, and everything tasted fantastic. The food and drink menus offer fantastic value and our bartender was willing to learn a new cocktail for me. We will absolutely be returning again, again, and again! Outside and inside, the new Timber Kitchen & Social is warmly lit, attractively woodsy, and welcoming. It took a while to be seated (there was no host or hostess), and even longer to be waited on due to a mixup. But once our server realized the error, she apologized, and the experience became most pleasant. I was delighted to see some low-carb (keto) items on the menu, so I ordered a cauliflower-crusted pizza loaded with bacon, pepperoni and prosciutto. My wife had a sushi bowl. Both dinners were exceptional. I couldn't believe that I was eating cauliflower! Her sushi was a bit spicy, and bursting with great flavors. We'll be back soon! read more

They were formally known as the Cabin. We have been here twice for dinner since they reopened. The wings are good!! We have had the peach BBQ & cherry chipotle. Check out the build your bowl. My wife had the tuna tartare with cauliflower rice - so good!! I had the BBQ pork bowl. We were eating off each other's plates. Then today she got the salmon bowl. & I got the cabbage pancake!! So good! My wife loves the wine menu . The staff is very friendly & don't rush you out to turn a table. The menu is fresh ingredients .AND!! They built a bar on the patio!! Very unique menu. Lots of food items for a vegetarian to choose. Had the Japanese pancake. Delicious! Sat on the patio for lunch which was comfortable and nice. Great local place, spoke with the owner Carmen and was very impressed with his chefs resume as well as the eclectic menu, I never would have thought I'd find OKONOMIYAKI with the add ons like shrimp and pulled pork. I hope this restaurant pulls it together. Very cool ambience but Very disorganized. We were lucky enough to get in before the "rush". (6 tables) Less than half of the menu was available on the Saturday that we visited. Our food was timely and fine except my husband's cuban sandwich which never made it to the table until we asked. (No charge though). We watched 3 tables walk out and 2 others decided to just have a drink and leave due to the wait time. Great concept, the decor/vibe is spot on. The food and drink menu was really unique. We had the Keto Chips and Dip and the pork rinds were right out of the fryer. Formerly The Cabin. Tastefully remodeled interior and bar. Limited wine selection and on the pricey side. No beers on tap. No Happy Hour yet. I had a good Cuban sandwich with coleslaw as a side and a martini as a beverage. The martini was good but the olives were very tiny. Need queen size martini olives. Was not impressed with the music selection at all and on the loud side for a small room. Will come back in a month or two to see if they are out of the growing pains stage. read more

Very disappointing! Got there at 5pm when they opened. Tried to sit outside but there were too many bees. Sat inside at a booth instead. Ordered the leeks as an appetizer. They were okay but a little too oily. One in our party ordered a pulled pork sandwich and was served a shredded oyster mushroom sandwich. Ordered a cauliflower crust pizza and after 15 minutes of waiting, they said they were out. Asked for salt twice and she said she was looking for it. We thought we would give this place a try for trivia night because we love a good trivia night. It was understaffed but the wait staff was very kind and accommodating despite being overwhelmed. The food left us unimpressed on numerous occasions. Several tables around us sent back their food or left theirs untouched such as ours. The owner came out and argued with tables to please leave good reviews blaming it on her kitchen staff or lack of staff. Funny she was nowhere to be found when her servers were struggling or the food came out of the kitchen incorrect/ cold. I felt bad for the servers who were trying their best but the food was inexcusable. If the owner had time to ask people to leave good reviews she should have time to make sure the food is coming out of the kitchen correct. All around it was a horrible and uncomfortable experience and we will not be back nor will any of the tables around us as several walked out. read more

Our experience started off great but went downhill from there. Our two appetizers came out at different times and were cold and under seasoned. Two of the three of us didn't like our meals so we didn't eat them. The waiter failed to ask us what was wrong or to do anything to make it right. Despite the previous reviews this was unfortunately the worst dining experience we have ever had. I understand being understaffed and that was the claim that was made on several occasions but this was more than that. There was simultaneously maybe 20-25 people in the restaurant. Service started out slow, 2 of our 4 dinners came out 45 minutes after ordering (a chicken sandwich, a pre made breast and the cabbage pancake) the second order a hamburger came out after another 35 min and it was burnt with cheese petrified on top the fourth dinner never came, it was lobster pasta. Other dinners were coming out of the kitchen just not ours. The poor waitress apologized but could not seem to get our food out claiming the kitchen was understaffed. We would have been happier to have sat a little longer and had all of food come out at once than some of our party not even get their dinners. At this point there were no excuses that were acceptable, we just paid our bill and left not to return. read more

It was my husband's birthday so we decided to give the new Timber kitchen a try. This was the absolute worst experiance I have ever had at a resturant and will NEVER go back. It started when we walked in and the two front desk workers were rudely laughing as we walked in which was very unprofessional. Was the offered since they weren't busy to pick are own seat which we sat right next to the door near the hostess stand. Our server took our drink or and we ordered the leek rings for an appetizer. When she came back eith our two drinks I made a comment to the server we were tbere for my husband's birthday. About 15 minutes later she comes back with our food. I mentioned where is the appetizer to which said oh no and walked away. She didn't come back for about 10 mins to which she then brought the leeks she said she totally forgot when we were placing our food orders to even put the appetizer order in. In the time she was gone my husband's food have tin foil shavings all in his salmon burrito as they cut the burrito when it was wrapped in tin foil. Not to mention the burrito was almost not edible since it tasted like they used a cup of salt in the mixture. I ordered the sushi bowl which was suppose to have crab meat tuna tar tar and smoked salmon. Since our server was MIA the hostess came over to check on us to which I explain my husband's food had tin foil shavings in it and my food was missing the salmon. She makes mention ohhhh were out of salmon so we just doubled the crab and tuna. To which this would be fine but should have told me you were out of salmon. As for my husband's burrito she said ohh no let me take it back to make another. About 10 mins later our server finally makes an appearance to bring his food. Qt this point she said gosh it's your birthday and we already screwed up twice with the food and walks away. After we finished our food she came by took our plates and asked if we wanted dessert to which we said no. Again it's my husband's birthday no offer of a complimentary dessert but it was fine. Server walked away to which I figured she was going to get our check. NO WE SAT THERE FOR ANOTHER 15 MINS WITH NO CHECK. At this point serve sucks food was terrible and we sat around waiting forever for everything when they weren't even busy. I proceeded to put my coat on and she saw me and screams out loud OH MY GOD I FORGOT ABOUT THAT TABLE!!!!!! SHE FORGOT ABOUT US FOR 15 MINUTES TI BRING US OUR CHECK. She casually walks over slides us the check which was the whole amount. She didn't comp and single thing for our horrible experiance. Then after paying my bill brings over a basket of stale cookies to choose from and an apologetic birthday treat. COMPLETE CRAP AND TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I will NEVER eat here again. Horrible service, horrible food, and complimentary unprofessional. I don't forsee this resturant lasting long at all. Please don't waste your money or time eating here. If I could give zero stars I would. This place doesnt even deserve 1 star. read more
