I come here probably 3/4 times a week each morning to get my son the same thing. Typically I have amazing customer service the employees are friendly and kind. This morning I get to the drive thru order screen and the women employee comes on and ask what I want to order, as I do I reply good morning and proceed with my order, "can I have 2 hash downs and 2 old fashion Tim bits". She replied the order back wrong to see if she got it right and also said we don't have plain Tim bits, I reply can I have 2 hash browns and I asked for 4 old fashion Tim bits not sure plain. She then says ok pull forward. I like to see my total so I can use cash and coins. I wait for a couple seconds she updates the screen to $0 total. I let that go but I should have asked for the total. Ok I then get to the window. Just knowing I would see either 2 of the friendly nice faces of men I see typically in the morning. Or a younger guy and I pull up and think to myself let's try this again. I say hello he says hello your total is $4.85. I have my wallet out with cash and ready to count my coins. As I'm doing that the guy says it's not that much. I look and I could have said something but they have pissed me off too quick for nothing I simply replied the lady that took the order didn't put the total up and I'm paying cash so I need to get rid of my change. Overall, this is some minor things that really pissed me off for no reason at all. I love this location like I said I come here often and the employees are friendly and nice. Today was not good at all. I hope this was just today but I will let it be known if this happens again. I hope to see my original people when I return. read more

This is the location on Ecorse Rd. next to the Marketplace. I came mid afternoon and they didn't have a lot of items. They were out of a lot of donuts and Timbits. That really didn't bother me though. It was mid afternoon and I wasn't really feeling donuts. I wanted to try either their chili or soup. They were out of both. Usually, I would get a coffee, but I just bought soda from next door. I left without buying anything. Maybe next time when I'm in town I'll get to try it. read more

Here I am doing a review for a fast food place... Didn't think I would be doing this but I need to warn others. DO NOT come here go to another location in an other town instead. I run a business near here and first 10 times they have been rude, gave me wrong receipts, wrong orders, missing items in orders, they're confused that I ordered a black coffee nothing on it and keep asking if Im sure that's what I want for some reason, customer service is terrible often times leaving customers no room to speak because what they say goes and its their way or the highway. Now you ask yourself why did I go 10 times and always had a poor experience why would I go additional times? I do because I figured maybe it was a bad day everyone has a bad day, but after 10 times it has consistently been rude and always incorrect. That's my mistake thinking they would figure it out. I hope the regional manager of Tims take a visit and fixes this place for good because this is a perfect location with all the industry around here. That 10th time will officially be my last time, Id rather drive 10 minutes out of my way than deal with the shenanigans here at this location. read more

I just moved to Romulus and this Tim Horton's is a 2 minute drive from my house. I had high hopes that this location would become my new regular stop. I stopped by yesterday to get an iced coffee before practice. It was quick, my drink was made good, and the lady who was working the drive thru was very sweet. I stopped by today again to get a sandwich and iced coffee. The same lady was working as yesterday and was very kind to me once again. When I pulled to the window to pay, I noticed an older male employee in the background without a mask or gloves, standing right over a counter full of open food containers. That was my red flag. This isn't political-- if you can't follow simple CDC guidelines, what's stopping you from breaking FDA rules? I will be finding another location that cares more about the safety of their customers. read more

Too often you cannot get a sandwich. One time there were no doughnuts. Occasionally they're not even there. Not professional at all. I work close by. I'll drive out of my way and go to Starbucks. Where I can count on somebody being there and willing to get me a sandwich or a pastry! read more

Drove thru this morning for a coffee and decided to grab a couple of donuts too. It's attached to a Shell market on Ecorse. I didn't try any of the sandwiches but they appear to have quite a good variety. I wouldn't get the donuts again - I took a bite of each and tossed them. (Sour cream and chocolate glazed). For my coffee I got an Iced Caramel Macchiato...I'm going to drink it but I wouldn't order it again. For me, this is the kind of place I would stop in a pinch but wouldn't go out of my way for. The server at the drive thru was very nice...I would have given it a two, but threw on an extra star for service. read more

Seems like there is only one guy that knows how to do his job in this place. He has to pick up the slack of all else! Every time I go in there's a huge wait! They take orders and then hand you something completely different. I ordered a large strawberry lemonade and a small, the same guy who took my order hands me two smalls and one of them was a plain lemonade! When asked him to fix it I then was told he couldn't make a large they were out of lg cups and no more lemonade mix! As I walked out I had to go back in because he didn't give me the muffin I ordered! This place is a joke! I was so excited when they opened but they can't get things right! Worst Tim Hortons of them all! I just refuse to go here in the morning at all they really need some structure in here!! I leave for work 20 minutes early I live across the street so I'm there in less then a minute and being there with 20 minutes spare time they still manage to make me late for work even if there is 3 cars in line I just don't understand it smh. So I just stop at the one on ford road off 275 cause this place has cost me a attendance write up and if I keep going they will cost me a job! I work right by here so I don't really have a choice but.....I frequent here in the mornings. Probably about 2-3 mornings a week I stop and get an egg, sausage, and cheese bagel. I was there at the beginning of this week and my bagel was burnt. I didn't think anything of it because it was only once. Well I stopped there this morning and watched the 2 girls (don't have names, but if a manager reads this, the 2 girls were working the breakfast sandwich station) burn my bagel again and laugh about it all while looking at me. I told them i didn't have time for them to remake it but I would be contacting their manager. They stopped smiling as soon as I said that. This place used to be good to go to for a bite eat or whatever coffee you wanted but for the past month or so, whenever I go there during the week they are always out of something. They're either out of the crescents or waffles for the sandwiches. Today I drive up and ask if they have cressants and it turns out they do so I order two sausage egg and cheese sandwiches on a cressant and large iced Capp. I get to the window and they tell me that the sausages are burnt and if I still want the iced Capp. I asked for just the egg and cheese and the girl comes back and tells me that the eggs are burnt too. I told them never mind and drove away. Is this how a business is supposed to be run? I'm done with that store until they make some changes. read more

I drove through there this afternoon at 3 o'clock and I ordered three drinks, one which was for my special needs child. I paid and I told her I didn't need the receipt I went up to the window and they only had two drinks not three. The girl told me she couldn't see your order anymore to know what was on it, so I was so upset because my daughter at this point was crying that I said that's OK I will just pay for another one. And I explain to her that I was dealing with a special needs child and they don't understand especially when we drove all the way from across town because this is her favorite Tim Hortons. So this location used to be the best around. When it first opened it was great, great service, friendly staff, orders were always made correctly. But for the last year it has been the complete opposite. I don't recognize any of the employees that used to work there and this new bunch doesn't seem to give a shit about anything. In fact, if you ask for something like a napkin( which never seems to be in the bag with a FOOD ORDER) or a sleeve for the burnt coffee, they give you an attitude for asking as if you're bothering them! I understand that a lot of the younger generation doesn't have the work ethic like we do but damn.... if you hate your job so much why don't you quit? Today I waited 16 minutes for two coffees. I must note that there were two cars ahead of me- each of them ordering 1 drink each. So it's not like there was some massive order that was taking a long time to prep. I would have left after ordering because of the wait but I was boxed in. Upon recieving my two coffees, both were made incorrectly. Staff was rude and as always- acts as if you're bothering them when you ask for something standard like a sleeve... long story long- get it together man. I somewhat know of the owner and he seems like a stand- up guy so I would hate to see his investment ruined by such incompetence and poor service.
