I drive past Bearclaw Coffee fairly often, and stopped there today for the first time. I ordered the Busy Bee latte from the seasonal spring menu, and it was AMAZING! The staff (looked to be about 3 people working) were friendly, patient, and had my coffee made quickly. I don't normally stray from my normal iced caramel coffees from other places, but this latte in particular was delicious! I will DEFINITELY be a regular at the Brownstown Bearclaw Coffee! read more

I heard great things about the Strawberry Chocolate Mocha, so the very next day I decided to try it for myself. I purchased one iced and one frozen, and both were absolutely amazing. They were so delicious that I returned and purchased two more. The drive-through wait time was quick and efficient, which I definitely appreciate. Customer service: I Understand some days we don't wake up feeling our best that's human. I actually returned the following day because I enjoyed the drinks so much. The employee who took my order at the window was pleasant both days. Unfortunately, both days , the young lady preparing the drinks was unwelcoming and visibly unfriendly. Her demeanor took away from what was otherwise a great experience. Because of that interaction. My BFF told me about this place when I was annoyed that the line for the closest Tim Hortons was wrapped around the building. I'm so happy she did! The coffee is delicious! And the building is adorable! You pull up, place your order, and drive around to the opposite window to pick up your drink. Everyone working was very friendly and service was quick! The nicest baristas! Always helpful and happy. It's hard to get one of their bearclaws, they sell fast. Muffins are really good as well. I've been here a few times and their lattes have never disappointed me. Occasionally the lines can be long but they usually move fast. Outdoor seating area looks kept up in warmer weather. read more

Best Coffee Downriver hands down. I'm talking Coffee drinks/and Flavored frozen/iced and hot drinks. All are way more delicious and way more affordable than starbucks. And I've never had to wait in line more than a minute. Baked goods are awesome, the Bear Claw is huge and delicious and they also carry vegan friendly cookies, one of my favorite Cookie Companies from California that I can't find anywhere around here (alternative baking company) Their Breakfast sandwiches are great too. This place is drive-through coffee ONLY and they do it well. If you go with the intention of working there for the day you'll be severely disappointed by the outdoor tables and no official dining room but for driving past and grabbing a great tasting, fresh espresso beverage they nail it! This is a cute little Drive thru coffee shop. They only do drive thru, how ever there is a small patio that you can hang out if the weather is good. I give this small cute little coffee shop a 5/5 because it was my first time going to a drive-thru coffee shop (other than Starbucks) that has a patio set outside for you to park your car and sit to drink your coffee! Super cute. And the string lights make it a nice atmosphere. read more

You would think that it is not difficult to run a coffee shop. Unfortunately, most do it poorly. Bearclaw does it right. Regular coffee is smooth and balanced. Cappuccino was appropriately foamy (and I was asked how foamy I liked it) and excellent. Service was quick and efficient even with the line. Whenever I am in the area, I will be back! I have always had a pleasant experience at this Bearclaw Coffee location. Going there during the pandemic they did not disappoint. You could tell that they had a well thought out plan and were very conscientious of other people and the health of the community around them. All employees wear masks and they have social distancing maintained. They even have plexiglass and no contact food delivery. Their coffee is also very delicious. This coffee is of a high quality. I love coffee and when I want coffee I prefer bear claw. The coffee is really flavorful unlike Starbucks bland coffee. I don't think many people know of this location cause it's never busy or maybe since so many people were spoon fed Starbucks coffee for so long that they don't know good coffee and believe that Starbucks is good coffee cause that's what they've been told. Try bear claw if you haven't everyone I made try it has told me that they loved it. The only problem with this location is it closes before I get out of work. read more
