The food is great. I love the cheese curds. We always get those to share. Service was really quick and friendly. The place is clean inside. The only problem is the parking lot. Had to drive around a few times to get a parking space. Half of their parking spaces have reserved signs for another business's employees two buildings over. The RUDE young lady punched in on the cash register, grabbed a headset and started work without washing her hands. No hair restraint and disgusting, long, fake nails. My food was sitting in the window... 47$ of food. She ignored me and the hot food ... now cold. She touched her hair 3 times, her oily face once, performed cash transactions all without washing her hands and touching all the food. Disgusting! She threw attitude when I was telling the "manager" and gave me a dirty look. I made sure to get my 47$ order refunded. I will never return and I will escalate my experience to the corporate level. I ordered a blizzard ice cream cake for my daughters birthday. My daughter was very specific she wanted chocolate ice cream and Reece's peanut butter cup. We were very pleased with the cake. I ordered 3 medium blizzards and paid about $13. I end up getting 2 minis and 1 medium for it. I asked the person helping me and seems clueless and just flipped my orders. So weird . They didn't have the full DQ cooked food menu just hot dogs and the pulled pork when I went. That said its nice have a close DQ in Westland.

Thankfully the product is consistent from building to building because the service sure doesn't measure up. Slow slow slow. Uninterested personnel make it seem like it's an inconvenience for us to come in and spend our money. They also need to do better at cleaning tables and floors between customers. read more

This location is usually my favorite to go to but last night my friend and I went there for a treat after dinner. We both ordered the same thing just separate checks. She got hers and I assumed mine would be out next. I waited about 10 mins and then I finally asked if mine was ready yet. The girl at the counter said "did you guys forgot about the cookie jar blizzard". That made me really mad. I asked for a refund and she told me the ice cream was coming up. I didn't wanna cause anymore problems so I waited for my blizzard and left. The ice cream was good the service was completely awful. I will no longer be going here. read more

I used to think this place was okay, but really wasn't happy with the service I rec'd today. I'm used to the employees not being friendly or helpful here, but this was a new low. It was actually pretty busy and there were 3 employees working. My son and I both ordered Blizzards, and while we waited for them, a female employee comes up with a little brown bag and asked (in a whispery voice that couldn't be heard above the hum of the nearby cooler) if we'd ordered the "peanut butter cookie dough" ice cream. I said no, as we'd ordered Reese's blizzards. So she has the guy taking orders to find out. Turns out they were ours.... As I sat down, I realized they didn't do the signature "flip the Blizzard upside down" trick, so my next one should be free.......as per the message emblazoned on the menu board. I went back up and told Whispery Girl that she hadn't done that, and she informed me that b/c they were in a paper bag, they didn't have to do that. Huh? I didn't ask for them in a bag, and why would it make a difference. She asks Employee #2, and he comes up and backs up what she said. So then they call Employee #3 up (he's the guy who usually waits on us when we come here) and he just stands there and stares at me. I ask him if he knows the scoop (ha ha...a little DQ esque humor) and he says no. When I explain, he says the reason is b/c they're privately owned and don't do that, even if the sign on the menu board says they do. So at that point, I give up and vow never to darken their door again. Plenty of other nice ice cream places around here to bother with this kind of customer service! read more

Ordered a cake from there for my daughter's birthday and they didn't put any icing on it. It was bare mud looking ice cream. When I called the gentleman on the phone just gave me attitude like "What do you want me to do about it" and "Not all dairy queens do it the same" well if you are baring the name you better do it the same no matter who the individual owner is. read more
