This is a Canadian chain and from past experiences of Canadian chains, they are far better than American counterparts, and this is no exception. Tim Hortons is everywhere - and they are known for the Timbits and coffee, though the coffee itself is pretty regular and nothing too special. For the price, it is quite dangerous because I could theoretically go here daily for breakfast and not break my wallet at all - for example, an original blend coffee (opted for cream and half sugar) with 10 pieces of Timbits is 5CAD total. Service is pretty quick, though a little bit incompetent as I had to repeat my coffee preference of cream and sugar at least 3 times as they didn't seem to listen, but I got what I wanted.

This was my first time at Tim Hortons! It also was during the Justin Bieber collab with Tim Hortons. We ordered the bite-sized Timbits donuts, a Boston cream donut, and drinks. It wasn't busy when we went through the drive thru. Everything went by pretty smoothly and quickly. Next time I'm in Canada and need a coffee or donut fix, I would definitely come back to a Tim Hortons near me.

Another 1st review. Yay! Just like most other locations (as expected), except this one has a decent-sized parking lot, and also a very large seating area with a solarium, which also gives you a great view of No.3 Road.

Timmies Donuts, 1 of my guilty pleasures in life but it's the 1st time I've had their Easter Dream Donut. Love the combo of frosting, mini eggs and whipped cream

Great coffee & pumpkin spice latte. Hype was real. Went every morning!

Observed on the shuttle ride from the airport to our hotel. "Wow, there's Tim Hortons everywhere. Must be the like the McD's back home" Me- "I think I've heard of this chain. Something about their coffee." Hey! There was one right across the street from our hotel. Started off every morning with a visit. Tried their pumpkin spiced latte and it was pretty good! The hubby had Canadian bacon breakfast sandwiches that he said were good. I just went with their yogurt fruit cups & mini-strudels (3 for 50cents with a beverage purchase) instead. Pretty good way to start off our days. Gotta admit that it's a step up from our usual fast food chains back home.

OUTSTANDING; drool! Freshness, not too sweet & full of "flavor" donuts. Good reason to cross the border for sure.

Lousy service. Staff makes fun of customers. Cannot keep up with line of customers. Only one order station open most of the time.

It reminded me of searching for pineapple buns as a kid. Unfortunately, the experience quickly took a turn. My wife, child, and I stopped in close to closing because my child wanted sesame balls. It was his first time ever asking for them, so we were excited to get a few. When we brought our items to the counter, the staff member curtly told us to grab more pastries, which already felt a bit off. Things became more uncomfortable during checkout. We were told they only accept CAD cards, which is understandable, but when we asked about paying in USD, they agreed at a one to one rate. Not ideal, but we were happy to support a local business. Our total came to 10.75 CAD and we paid with 20 USD. Instead of receiving proper change, we were strongly encouraged to take additional pastries because they did not have change. The staff was quite insistent, and we ended up with several extra items we did not really want. To make matters worse, after piling multiple pastries into my wife's already full hands as she was carrying bags from traveling, we asked for a bag and were initially told no. Only after we returned some of the coins given as change did a box and then suddenly a bag become available. The entire interaction felt unnecessarily pressured and uncomfortable. While both parties were speaking Chinese, I could not shake the feeling of being taken advantage of as an outsider simply trying to support the business. To top it off, the pastries themselves were mediocre at best. It is a shame, because the place has such a nostalgic charm, but the service left a lasting negative impression.

Also compared it with a few other changfen/rice roll places in Richmond and we still loved this one the most, especially at this price point ($7.50 cad with egg added) The changfen isn't in very distinct strips because it hasn't had time to cool down and take shape, but I didn't mind. The walnut bread was very dry. There was a small surprise though. I noticed several items are Taishan pastries packed in plastic boxes.
