This is my favorite Tim's. The staff is always friendly and pleasant. Today I asked for a red velvet cold brew and was told they were done for the season, but the lady working the drive thru offered me a custom made coffee without me even asking! If I need a quick pick-me-up on my way to work, I usually hit up this Tim Hortons. I'm not at all a morning person, so despite my lethargic and edgy demeanor I'm always greeted by a smiling face or perky attitude. This easily changes my case of the Saturday mornings. They are slightly more expensive than some other fast food breakfast options, but they always taste good and I've never had bad service here. My go to options are some OJ, and a turkey sausage and egg white sandwich. I seriously miss their Chorizo breakfast wrap, and I hope they carry it again one day. I go to Tim's more than I should, yes I support our local scene as well. Listen this location is nice, clean and the staff is friendly. If your staying in they will ask you if you want an ACTUAL MUG or a to-go cup and usually they will warm up your pastry you don't have to ask them they ask you if that's what you like. They have all sorts of drinks hot and cold for you. Lots of pastry, in the warmer months you can sit on the patio. It's a nice location with a really nice staff. They have plenty of parking.. if your in the area go. read more

Disappointed the last two days with my coffee order. Someone had made my iced hazelnut coffee Sweetened the first time. I made sure the girl taking my order was aware I didn't want sweetener the second time around. she replied, we never put sugar in. Guess what... the second coffee was sweet again. Every time I visit the Penfield Tim Hortons location, the price varies wildly despite the fact that I order the same thing every time. On May 12, my order cost $8.19. On 5/14, it was $9.04. On 5/15, it was $8.66. On 5/17, it was $8.82. On 5/19, it was $8.82. On 5/21, it was $8.82. On 5/24, it was $8.45. On 5/25, it was $8.82. On 5/26, it was $8.45. On 5/28, it was $8.66. On 5/31, it was $9.04. And on June 2, it was $8.82. I asked the supervisor on May 31 why the price had jumped, explaining to her the other prices, and she insisted that was the correct price, despite it being the highest. This was likely to cover her own mistake. Today, I realized the rewards card I've been using since May 15 should have earned a reward by now. The cashier said that it had, but that the system automatically resets after seven visits and I was never informed that I had missed the chance. This is almost certainly the policy to keep people from redeeming rewards at this location. Since I use the drive-thru on my way to work, I don't have the time to stop and discuss this continued fraud in person, but something should be done by Tim Hortons corporate office. read more

It's not everyday that you get uber-friendly, super sharp staff at a quick-order place like Tim Horton's. I am a daily customer - mostly via drive-through - and whether there or occasionally stepping inside, am routinely impressed with the caliber of staff that this location's owner has selected. And clearly nurtured. They're friendly, fast and clearly enjoy their job which can be unique in this industry. Major kudos to the Penfield/441 location's management. I'm personally a Dunkin' Donuts kind of gal but this location is slowing converting me. The paninis and soup are real pretty yummy for a drive through and I love their timbits and coffee. But the most important thing about this location is the customer service. Very disappointed with the customer experience I had here. Seemed like the employees cared a lot more about the drive thru than the counter inside. Was not welcomed in right away and was not waited on for at least 3 minutes. I ordered a coffee and a panini and the speed of the items I ordered was ok but the quality of the sandwich that I got was pretty lackluster. Mayo everywhere and not a whole lot of anything inside. Tasted like mayo and bread. I asked the girl if she could look at it and tell me if it was assembled correctly and she said it was. I told her it seemed a bit underwhelming as far as the meat goes and she kind of gave me a nasty look and said, "we've always made it that way" and "you have to order extra meat next time if that's what you want". There was no real solution offered so I ended up throwing the other half away and going to McDonald's across the street to get a burger. Avoid this place at all cost and definitely don't order the sandwiches if it's the same short skinny girl that made mine. Not sure if she was having a bad day or something but I'll never go there again. read more

The people who work there are the nicest you could find anywhere, they're efficient in order-taking, and my order is never incorrect, never in line too long. They compliment my new tattoos or say hi to my puppy when I bring her around too. Horrible service and the rudest, most incompetent cashier. Not even a simple hitw coffee can be charged right, they'll still add the charge for Whipped cream and it being ice. 4/2/16 I am a daily customer. We received a coupon for "2 for $3" in the mail. "Medium Coffee Mochas or French Vanillas" Shows a picture of two cups with whipped cream and chocolate on the top. I ordered Two French Vanillas at the drive through & told the girl I had a $3.00 coupon.She said "come to the window & I will figure it out." I gave her the coupon and she said" $4.56" I explained that I had just given her a coupon for $3.00. She replied Whipped cream is extra. Any case I showed her the photo with the coffee and the wipped cream on the top but she still said $4.56. I nicely asked for my money back and left the drive through. I understand she is a young person, but there is a lesson here. I am not going to argue with a pretty young thing for a dollar so but part of her learning experience is the importance of customer good will. A known fact is 80 percent of a coffee shops business comes from 20 percent of it's customers. She could have said I have to speak with my manager or make an empowered decision and made an exception. I realize this is only a dollar or so and won't break the bank but I thought you would like to know. I will still buy coffee at Tim Hortons but will get acquainted with the Dunkin Donut store across the street as well. read more
