Good coffee and even better donuts. I've only ever seen this Canadian chain of coffee sports in Michigan. I almost forgot to visit on while staying in NOVI for a wedding because of the way they are scattered around town. They aren't conveniently located everywhere like DD or Starbucks. They are sporadic to say the least and I don't ever go out of my way for muddy water. Anyway I liked the donuts and I just think the coffee is "meh" I think they will continue to grow, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We came at 4:50pm, the place closed at 5pm. We pulled into the drive thru and after making eye contact with a worker, they looked at us and waved "no service" to us. We then proceeded to park our car and get out, thinking maybe just the drive thru was closed. After parking our car they proceeded to run and turn the lights off as well as turn the Open sign off. We knocked on the door and they laughed at us and continued to deny us service. All of the reviews are true about this place. It's horrible and people are rude. Service is SLOW & RUDE!! I sat in the drive-thru for 18min with 1 car at the window & 1 car in front of me. When I got to the speaker a woman yelled at me to "wait!". As I waited my puppy whined a bit (he loves Tim Bits & he knows) the drive thru lady told my dog to SHUT UP over the speaker!! Unbelievable. I got out of line & called the store, they claimed to "just be really busy"- what does that have to do with being incredibly RUDE and lazy? They were not busy- 2 people at the inside counter. First visit to this Novi location. Drive thru, sausage breakfast wrap. Ordered with no cheese, like I always do at other Tim Hortons. Received a wrap with no cheese and no sausage. My husband took it back in to get another one and the guy pointed at the girl at the window and said "talk to her, she made it" and they both just stared at him. Other locations, if they make a mistake they gladly make another one for you. Not that it happens very often to me and I'm a weekly visitor to Tim's in Rockford and Howell. We got nothing!! Literally the worst tim hortons i've ever been to. Would give it 0 stars if I could. My fiancé and I stopped for a quick coffee visiting family. The service was horrible. There were only 2 employees there at the time. One was managing the drive thru and the other was at the counter. The one at the counter literally scoffed when we came in. She took our order and was complaining about working the whole time we were waiting for our drinks. For some strange reason my coffee cost here. Lesson learned no receipt given it was automatically crumbled and tossed. However, the cash register did say correct order. Small black dark roast. Go to this store if you want a major attitude given to you. If you like to be disrespected, yelled at by multiple workers because you asked them to correct your order on the screen to ensure that your order is filled correctly then this is absolutely the store for you!! I have never been treated so poorly. I was just trying to get my breakfast, I wasn't looking to be treated like a second class citizen. When I tried to speak to the manager, after being yelled at by the two employees working the drive thru that at first the manager wasn't there. When I informed them that I would just call corporate, I was told she was on break and wouldn't be back for an hour. So which lie was accurate? I'm never going here again. I've been stoping here just about every Saturday spring through fall since the day this store opened. Used to be friendly (brought the wife and kids after soccer for a quick bite), not sure when they decided to leave CNN on the TV 24/7 or who thought that was a good idea? Worst customer service ever!!! Wow! Reading the reviews looks like I'm not the only one who encountered interacting with these people. I came here- not new to Tim hortons but new to the app. I pulled up and ordered. Then asked the lady to help me redeem a 2 dollar latte coupon. I asked her if I needed to active the coupon first she said no. She scanned my card and nothing happened. Three of the women in there were so rude. Such uneducated rude women. They kept making noises with th with mouth, kept saying "o my..." as I sat in the car waiting for someone to help with the situation. They told me the promotion is only after 2pm but no where in the terms of the coupon did it say that!!! I think the whole issue was she told me not to activate it. After I clicked activate it gave me instructions of how to use it. The ladies were so concerned about the line behind. They refused to rescan and restart my order for the coupon to work. They shut the drive thru window on me. Worse of all the smell that wreaked from the perfumes they wore- sorry I'm glad I didn't get coffee from here after all ! My coffee lid probably would have tasted like their disgusting perfume !! With covid and everything going on you would think people would be more kind. The staff is rude, careless and clearly don't care about customer service. Not sure who the manager is of this location but their interview process must require that the employees have no customer service background or care to learn and keep up the image of the brand. Although this location seems to have more ethnically diverse employees (but also seemingly all part of the same ethnic group so not really diverse), it really doesn't make the customer experience better when they cannot understand their orders and don't have basic etiquette when it comes to their behavior. The one time I decided to walk inside and order, the employee taking my order shamelessly flirted with me, not focusing on my order, which I didn't appreciate. He held up others in the line behind me because he was more worried about talking to a girl rather than being efficient. I'm pretty sure the owner of this franchise just hires his/her family friends, not caring about if they are actually competent in providing a good customer experience. Moreover, they have not once got my order right the last 10 times I've been there. If they can't do as much as a smile and make some eye contact in the drive through, at least getting the order accurate is the least they can do. While it is a prime location for those getting gas coming off of/getting onto the highway, you are better off spending a couple extra dollars and getting better service at the Starbucks drive-thru literally next door. read more

I don't usually write bad reviews on yelp, but this place had to be one of the very few places that left me unhappy. Tables were not wiped down, I had to clean my own table. Employees were sitting in a corner talking, laughing, and definitely not working just being loud an obnoxious then started verbally fighting behind the counter. I waited like 10 min in line for 1 coffee. Their was only 1 employee at the register while the others were messing around in the dinning room. Bathrooms were filthy it looked like they weren't cleaned for a week, I wish the pictures showed more details. When I asked for soup or hot sandwiches, the employee's response was that everything was already shut down. This was 2 & 1/2 hours before closing. It was obvious that the employees did not have any decent customer service experience. This was my first and last time going to this location. Highly don't recommend going. read more

This place is ridiculous. First of all, no one speaks English. There were 2 women and a kid, I'd say he was about 17 or 18. All they did was yell at him in whatever language they speak. When they took my order they screwed it up 3 times. They didn't have several items we wanted. We were standing where you stand to receive your food. She left part of the order too far down the counter to reach, never gave me a receipt (I pulled it off the register myself) and when our food was done, she didn't tell us. She threw it on a whole other counter that had nothing to do with receiving an order and yelled "your food is ready!". We were standing there for far too long to know our food was just waiting elsewhere. So rude! And, I feel sorry for that kid. read more

Years ago I used to go to this location every morning five days a week. They were fast and more importantly KIND! Fahhed ...who no longer works here.... greeted me with a smile and knew me by name. I will say that this location is clean but the coffee wasn't up to their usual strongly brewed deliciousness. In addition, my BF's donut didn't seem fresh. I went here with my friend for lunch I ordered a chili and a garden salad and a small Pepsi my friend ordered a #5 grilled cheese combo and she paid for our order. The guy taking out order didn't put my salad on the order (or didn't tell me they didn't have salad) then proceeded to process our order as my chili being and pop being her side and pop for her combo. He said he did it because my friend paid for the entire meal even tho we ordered separately. They he argued a bit about it while the other workers just corrected our order giving her the side and pop that should have come with her order. read more

Not much improvements after over a year of this place in operation.

As someone who loves him Hortons, I stop at this location every day on my commute to work and sometimes twice a day to grab a drink on the way home. However, today was the last straw. This review is solely based on the food made by the workers here. Every day we order the same thing. Medium or large Triple triple, small ice cap, blueberry bagel DOUBLE TOASTED and breakfast egg and cheese on a biscuit DOUBLE TOASTED. I will say that at least three or four times a week, none of the items are double toasted as requested. It has gotten to the point of why bother telling you how to do it, when you're not even going to try to make it the way I requested. I don't know if the workers just don't read the screens because it shows double toasted on the order screen. I'd like to also say that it can't be because they are rushed since my commute time of being there is usually around 10 AM and there's no one behind me and one car in front of me. If this was during a busy time during their drive-through, I totally would get it. But today I waited five minutes in the drive-through for the transaction to be completed until I got my coffee and then we got our sandwiches. This will be the last time I will order any food from them. Thankfully they are getting two stars because their beverages are always made correct for me. read more

I said there is a sign that says Colombian Coffee $1.00. When I pointed to the sign she rudely said - you DIDNT ASK FOR COLUMBIAN.
