Not sure why the low reviews for this CFA. We stopped by here today for a quick dinner because we were coming back from vacation and my boyfriend's house is out of power, due to the storms this week. I haven't been to a CFA in a while but I usually get the #1 combo - simple and tasty. Today I got it with medium fries and Fanta. I didn't know that you have to ask them to refill your soda cup, which is interesting, but they did it with a smile. I used the bathroom while here too and it was overall clean. Drive-thru looked busy, especially for a Tues night, but I saw the employees were keeping it moving, even walking over to cars to take their orders. Chick-fil-A locations are developing all over Metro Detroit. This happens to be the closest location to our house but it's still a good 25 minute drive or more. Located on Haggerty Road near 8 Mile, this location will open this Thursday, January 28. I happened across a sign up for their training day so I was able to visit this location today. Due to COVID, everything was done through the drive thru. The employees were very organized from the person who checked off names on the guest list to the person who handed out the orders. They are going to be well prepared and they already had Chick-fil-A's signature "service with kindness" (I'm sure there were smiles under those masks too). I pulled off into the Kohl's parking lot to eat my food. I was given everything I needed to eat in the car - napkins, straw, ketchup, sauce. My spicy chicken sandwich was done just right - tender and juicy with just the right amount of spicy. I wish the waffle fries were cooked a little more but they were also good. This location is going to be perfect for Chick-fil-A lovers. It's central to shopping areas and the freeway. read more

The drive through line at this location always looks so intimidating so I decided to park and order inside for carry out. My order got taken right away but unfortunately, there was a mix up as they seemed to miss my order and I was seeing others who ordered after me get their food. I was about to say something when a attentive server saw me and asked me what the name for my order was. He took my receipt and in less than a minute put my order together and apologized and gave me a free cookie. Although they made a mistake, it was worth the wait. Fastest time I've ever gone to and left a Chick-fil-A. It's usually so busy I barely eat here, but I managed to get 2 chicken sandwiches, some waffle fries and for my 2 yr old grilled chicken nuggets (which he inhaled). This chain is known for its great service and I can say that was the case for me today. Food was great but I have to say, it feels like the portions have shrunk while the price of the food continues to go up. This is not a problem exclusive to Chick-fil-A, but it's still annoying. read more

This is the second time I have visited this location and received the wrong food items. I am done giving this place chances to make up for themselves. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten-free bun and got the complete opposite (breaded and on a regular bun). I know for a fact it was a regular bun because their gluten-free buns come individually wrapped. I have never had this problem at the Florida locations but I for some reason have it in Michigan. First time ever visit to a Chick-fil-A. Not sure what happened, but my trip through the drive thru took forever. The line backed up way behind me and probably had something to do with the hash-browns. Wasn't my fault! Even after pulling forward, the cars were still standing in line. The manager, on her own volition, had an employee issue a full refund and give explanation, then she followed up with personally apologizing for the mistake. All good guys! It happens. I've wanted to stop at Chick-fil-A since it opened, but every time I have driven past, the wait has precluded me from doing so. That was not the case yearly Saturday morning. For breakfast, they offer a nice variety of sandwiches. Given it is a chicken restaurant, I had to have the fried chicken on a biscuit. Chicken was amazing! Nice portion, interesting seasonings, cooked perfectly and a great texture. Biscuit was also good, but a bit too crumbly for a sandwich. The service was what really impressed me. A tad on the slow side, but incredibly friendly. Price was reasonable. Less than $4 for a very filling sandwich. I look forward to coming back for dinner! read more

This Chick-fil-a was so fast and organized! Our orders were taken, paid for, and picked up in about 15 minutes. Everyone was kind and attentive. My only bone to pick was with the app. You're not able to view the menu online or in app and your order is taken prior to the big menu display. They do have small menus for you to look at but I didn't have my reading glasses on and only one eye, so it was a little inconvenient. Thought my last experience here was bad but this most recent managed to be much worse... comically bad. Our car got skipped when the attendants switched shifts, no biggie. I flag down a manager and he scrambled to find someone to take my order. Finally someone comes out, takes our order and payment, while car after car passes us by.. We pull up to get a receipt and the attendant there says they don't see our order... I say I already paid and show them my credit card app. They have me pull up, have a manager come out again to ask and take our order AGAIN, offering nothing more than a quick sorry and running off. At this point 12 cars have passed us after we waited an hour... and then the order comes out without ketchup and without one of our drinks. I can forgive one excuse... but for them to drop the ball with us that many times and not even offer like a free shake or a solid apology...? Thought this place was all about their customer service. I've never ate at a Chic-Fil-A in my life. So I decided to keep it simple today, just a spicy chicken sandwich (don't care for the bread but the OVERALL quality is what matters). The level of spiciness was JUST RIGHT, in my opinion - not too hot, not too mild. The chicken was a good size & thickness. Foiled bag wrapped which is ideal for hot items, especially in cold weather. I think they'd do a gangbuster business on chicken pieces! Inside NOT open. I was there at 11 a.m. & the line snaked through the parking lot/well organized for that much drive thru traffic. Oh man. Where to start. First they don't open at 6:30am yet, they open at 10:30am which means you can't get breakfast there yet. Asked the manager when they'll start having breakfast he said at least another 2 weeks. They had a limited menu only (see photo) that they were passing out as you got in the line. They dont really have their drive thru flow figured out yet and the traffic getting in is a nightmare as a result. Once we actually ordered and everything it didn't take long to get our food and get out of there. Wasn't really worth the 45 minutes I spent waiting on them to open, don't think I'll be back for a long time, hopefully they'll have it figured out in a few months. They will finally open the drive-thru on Jan. 28 2021. I got lucky enough to get invited to their "training opening". The staff was very friendly. The food tasted great!! I had the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich, waffle fries and sweet tea. Which is not too spicy and chicken was nice and juicy (not dried out at all). It comes on a butter bun with pepper Jack cheese, a few slices of pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. If you like you sandwich extra saucy you can pick one of their delicious sauces. read more

Where to begin...? Maybe with the fact that I used to work for Chick-fil-A...I worked at 6 different locations over a period of 10 years...in management and the drive thru. I am pretty familiar with the company in general, and the drive thru specifically. The thing about Chick-fil-A that I've always loved is that it's pretty consistent across the board. Every location you visit has nearly the same level of customer service, quality food, speed of service, and attention to detail. Now...let's talk about the Haggerty Road location. A drive thru line that should take about 5 minutes to get through takes 20 minutes or more. It's usually about 30 minutes. There is simply no excuse for this. I've been to countless stores where the drive thru is wrapped around the building, but they get you through in about 5 minutes. I went last night and there were THREE cars in the lane in front of me, and I was there for 25 minutes. I ordered TWO things, and they only gave me one. I ordered grilled nuggets and a side salad without the crispy red bell peppers that come with it. Instead, they didn't give me the salad but did give me the peppers. ??? By the time I was able to check my bag and notice, the guy was gone. And a car was in front of me, and I was in the lane furthest from the window, so I had no way of correcting my order. I managed to pull into the lane by the window because the car in front of me must have had a huge order. I was legit sitting behind them for 5 minutes. I was finally able to flag someone down by waving my receipt at them, and was able to have my missing item given to me. Then I had to sit in THAT lane for another 5 minutes while THAT car waited for their food. My family has been here multiple times and there is always something wrong with our order. The fries are barely filled and we've had to order a large size just to get what should be a medium. I wrote an email once, and never heard anything back. I've always known Chick-fil-A to care about their customers and respond. I wasn't looking for free food or anything, but we've spent quite a bit here since they opened, and have gotten nothing but disappointment in return. It's 5 minutes from my house. I've waited almost 10 years for Chick-fil-A to get to this side of Michigan, and it makes me really sad that this is the result of all that waiting. Something drastic needs to be done, because this is not the experience that Chick-fil-A is known for. I will only be visiting the Novi location from now on. read more

I was stuck in traffic, decided to try this chick-fil-A location (Northville, MI). First time I used the app to order my food. It was easy to use and was able to modify/ customize my sandwich & my drink & add the sauces. I used the express lane. It was fast fast fast once I pulled around, scanned the code, pulled up & waited less than 30 seconds and my food & drink to be brought to my car. When I arrived to my destination, reviewed my order expecting something to be incorrect and to my surprise it was NOT. The food looked good, my customization requests were correct and I received the exact number of sauces I requested. This is my new favorite app and that store rocked my order! It literally took longer to pull into and drive around than the wait for my food. Not to mention the food is hot & fresh when I visit any Chick-fil-A stores.
