I've always thought I was lucky given the number of burger places in the neighborhood. Now, I'll have to add wings to the list. Within a 2-mile radius, 3 popular eateries specialize in wings: Buffalo Wild Wings, Detroit Wing Company, and Wing Stop. The latter is the newest; I noticed it a few months ago. Wing Stop is mostly set up for pick-up, although there are a few tables at the front. A large counter that opens up into the spacious kitchen greets each guests. I had placed the order online for pick-up. Apparently, delivery is also available. I selected the 10-piece classic combo with Hawaiian and Maple Sriracha sauces. Along with these wings, I also had cheese fries. I'm glad I got the fries since they filled me up, as the wings were smaller than what I am accustomed to. Also, they were mostly drums instead of my preferred flats. However, both the sauces were flavorful. One was sweet, while the other was a bit spicy. The fries were better, though. They were thin but tender, with a nice cheese sauce. My other complaint is that the online order system indicated that this location has a Coke Freestyle machine. We started coming to this one after going to the one on 6 Mile & Grand River, then the one in Livonia on Schoolcraft & Middlebelt. The first is better than the second but this location is the best I've had. It's always fresh and they're always nice. We have to wait a few minutes sometimes but we don't mind, just means the food is being made fresh. read more

Every single time I order online on Uber eats or the website and my order is completely wrong. There's no seasoning on the chicken no seasoning on the fries. This is getting very disappointing. I ordered my food at 9:30 I received it at 11. When ordering it says should take 15-21 minutes so I know there is standards amongst Wingstop. This Wingstop however fails to meet these standards constantly. Disregarding the wait, the staff seemed as though the didn't care that 20 people had been waiting over an hour for their food. They clearly knew they were doing something wrong because we received complementary drinks. We received our food and pleasantly enjoyed the French fries. The chicken however was overcooked and I don't think seasoned correctly. I've been to other Wingstop and never had an experience similar to this. Ordered online and had to wait quite a long time, along with some other customers inside...BUT. The manager on duty was great at communicating that to the customers, offered a drink and extra sauces to someone that waited much longer than expected and just generally had a great sense of customer service. Listened to a recorded message for 10 minutes, then began driving to the location. Upon arrival the staff was unwilling to provide any accommodation for their failure to deliver the order completely. Only willing to offer for me to wait an additional 15 minutes for my missing items, or to have that portion of my order refunded. I never been treated with such disdain before. I walked in on a slow Saturday afternoon for a pickup order. There was only two pickup orders on the shelf, and there was a woman seated right it front of it. She asked me for my full name - first and last, and I repeated the name to her TWICE. She then asked if it was a 16 piece combo (i had ordered a 15 piece), which i nodded yes to in confusion but i figured she would match the name to the order given that my name was written large and bold across the bag. I double checked again to make sure as she ripped the receipt off the bag. I noticed that it wasn't my name and quickly mentioned to her that it was not my order. I was absolutely kind about it, but her entire demeanor changed and she was like "this is why i asked you if it was the 16 piece" in the most irritated way possible as if she was talking down to a child. I did not say anything to her as she grabbed the right bag this time and tossed it on the counter and said "that's your order you can take it". She still did not hand over the cups for the two drinks that came with the combo so I hesitated before I picked the bag up. I still said thanks and kept it pushing, but this was the worst possible experience i've ever had when it came to service in MY ENTIRE LIFE. The woman was so condescending and belittling in her mannerisms and tone. The fact that she was acting this way and I did not say anything to her spoke volumes about her character. Mind you, she did not have to put ANY effort whatsoever. She did not even move a step away from the pickup shelf and she was acting like we inconvenienced her. This wing stop has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The people working here hate their job and it shows through their interactions with customers. I placed an order at 7:11 online. I was given an estimated time of pickup at 8:35! I arrived at 7:45 just to see if it was ready and was told my order was not ready yet. I was never told they had no record of my order just that it wasn't ready yet. I said no problem I will be back at the time indicated on my email. I arrive again to pick up the order at 8:35 just to be informed they never made my order. It didn't "come through their system". Which makes no sense if I got a confirmation number. I ask if I can just cancel my order because I'm not waiting another hour for my order to be made I ask to cancel my order. No one knows how to cancel an order at this location? No one offered any type of compensation for my time no drink nothing but attitude. Then I call back the next day and Ashley who is supposed to be the manager has the nastiest attitude for somebody supposedly handling customers. Wouldn't let me talk and claims she's cancelling all of the orders that was left the night before. If you never got my order slip how are you cancelling my order?
