Had a craving for some wings so decided to give this place a try through the uber eats app. I ordered the buy one get one 6 piece of bone in wings. They also had some promotion where if you spent $25 you got free fries. So figured I'd order a six piece of boneless that I could take to work the next day. So boom I got my free fries everythings good to go When the delivery guy got here and handed me the bag, I thought it was kinda funny there were only two boxes? First, I'll say this restaurant used to be one of my favorite spots. HOWEVER, over the last couple of years things have gone drastically downhill. The quality of wings: Below subpar. The seasonings on the wings(besides buffalo): subpar. And I just kept hoping they'd get better, but tonight was the last straw. 1. There were so many feathers on A LOT of the wings. And I'm talking thick feathers. Like, those wings could've taken flight, if they wanted to! In total we ordered 30 wings. At least 15 had feathers thicker and stiffer than hay. 2. We ordered 12 buffalo wings, only 7 of them had sauce. The rest were plain. My husband calls to let them know about the quality of our food and is told to bring it back and they'll make it again. But obviously we weren't all on the same page as to what was going to be remade. The employee thought that they were going to take the 5 unsauced wings and put them back in the box. He also put on gloves and attempted to pull the feathers from wings that were covered and give those back. My husband, of course, refused to accept that same food back and requested that they make the complete order over or give him a refund. After the employees talked, they decided to make the food over again. But that's not the end. They fix the wings and attempt to bag it really fast. My husband says "No, let me check it first". I think I've been to one Wing Snob before, but honestly there are so many businesses with the chicken wing concept that it's hard to keep track of them all because they essentially do the same thing. You choose if you want bone in or boneless wings (mini tenders essentially), how many pieces and your choice of sauce or dry rub. I got my order with fries, a drink and the Jamaican jerk sauce. To simplify things, it was okay. The chicken wings were kind of dry and chewy. The sauce itself did not taste anything like jerk nor was it spicy. I went to this location for the first time. It was this pass Saturday around 6pm or 7pm. The cook was not wearing a mask. The man who took our order had his mask over his mouth, but the nose was exposed. I hadn't realized it at first...still getting use to wearing a mask myself and by the time I realized it, monies had been exchanged and we were waiting in the car. When I went back inside to get my order, I did let man who took our order know that he and the cook need to wear their mask properly. As for the food, it was good. We had lemon pepper boneless wings and bone-in wings with lemon pepper fries. All was good, but it might be a while before I go back to this location. I'll go back to Southfield location.
