First time stopping here, I needed a place to stop at near my hotel since I wanted something cheap to eat. This place had $1.50 McChickens here and I was over the moon about it. The place was very quiet and the staff here was pretty friendly for the most part. Even is drive-thru is pretty dead too. Overall, I got my food within a reasonable speed and I was on my way. The restrooms were very clean for what they are which pretty much impressed me. 3.5 stars! read more

This location is very awful. Some of the workers are nice, and others are just rude. Their grease is always dark and old like they aren't changing it twice a day as they should. The food also at times comes out rubbery like it is sitting all day. read more

If you go to this McDonalds it's a hit or miss. Sometimes you get the most fresh amazing food ever and sometimes ur getting the wrong items or hair in your food. Same with the workers, either it's the nicest person ever or the most mean person ever. read more

I have always got great service that was friendly in the drive thru. When I have gone in to buy gift cards, they find a way for me to get $7.00 instead of the normal 5.00. I always have a special order cheeseburger without onions and they always get it right. read more

Service is still very slow in drive thru. Maybe half what I'd expect. Staff are sometimes good, other times not and aloof. So many times I see people pull out of line and leave. During the day there were lines. Anymore that's rare except Saturday morning. This store is failing. This was my sausage egg McMuffin wrapper. What? read more

Warm fries with a coffee! You know I just want the fries! Why are they warm! Nobody wants warm fries!!!

This is ridiculous not only did it take 18 min to have my order taken, then i pull up and they tell me to go to the third window!!!!! Insane!! So far I counted 3 cars getting their food. The guy right behind me looked like they tried to give them my food. And here I am sitting here waiting for my food still!! I am never coming back to this location again! This isn't fast food service at all!!!! I am not happy at all!!!! Still waiting my order was taken at 6:44am by a guy who seems to not know how to take an order even! My sandwich was cold when I finally got it! Even though the employee said they were waiting on the eggs to get done. Never again. read more

This has to be one of the most incompetent McDonald restaurants. First, don't give customers water down orange juice. This has happened not once or even twice but several times. This morning received the wrong breakfast sandwich. Is it that hard to read? It was a mobile order. It's pretty clear what it says. Now to get a refund I have to drive back to McDonald with the sandwich I didn't order. I go to this location because it's the closest. I realize they have high volume traffic and to some it's just a job, so who cares! Maybe more training is necessary! Just do your job and READ! READ! READ! read more

Do not come here. Waited 30 minutes with no other cars in the drive through just for the food to be wrong. They told me to pull up to serve other customers then forgot about me and never made my food. Completely disoriented and disorganized staff, very incompetent. Very lazy and show no pride in serving customers. read more

Don't come here. They'll make you wait an hour to order and then tell you they are closed

Staff seemed to hate me. My mcdoubles were covered in onions when I had them remade once before. The atmosphere here was questionable.

Probably the slowest McDonald's in history. Food is hit or miss. I get that it's a McDonald's... but cmon

Mixed experiences here over the last 18 months (which is how long I have lived in Novi). The good: - when they are on their game, service is fast and food is as expected The bad: - if they are not on their game, you will wait a long time for your order to be taken. Last night I left the drive thru line as I waited 8 minutes for somebody to take my order. As I drove by the windows, employees were busy chatting inside with each other and one lone female was hanging out of the window where you pay, trying to wave cars forward. I swear i heard the previous car place an order over the speaker so not sure what that was about. In all - like most businesses, if they cannot be fully staffed, don't open for that shift. I would rather see the place closed than have frustrating service. read more

Ordered 2 hash browns and 2 sausage McMuffins and waiting inside for 27 mins... this place is absolute trash. The manager is unprofessional and there is no communication with the staff. Asked for a refund instead of my food, cause it still wasn't ready... sad thing is they weren't even busy. I'm from flint and we have better operating McDonald's there which is just pathetic. Only giving a 1 star because It won't let me leave a 0star review..... Smh and they want $16 an hour lmao if you can't tell I'm defiantly NOT LOVIN IT!!! read more

I'm sure there are staff that care and are kind at this location, I just have yet to meet them. Years ago a friend and I came here after a rock concert in Detroit, and we got a small order around 1:30am. Just a chicken sammie and 2 fries. They forgot the chicken in the sandwich. We had a good laugh and turned around so we could get it fixed. The workers said they were sorry and replaced the sandwich with 2 for the trouble. We didn't check the bag until arriving at home. BOTH SANDWICHES WERE MISSING CHICKEN. Sad. 2 stars cause y'all play read more

A negative number is all this place deserves. I have literally and honestly had the most shocking and worst experiences of my life at this McDonald's on Haggerty just north of 8 Mile Rd. It is such a joke it's hard to even describe. I drove through this morning just after 10 am and no one was in line at the drive through. No one answered the intercomm..intercoms... ever. I finally just started ordering and WHAT DO U KNOW- a person answered. I drove up and SAT at an empty window to pay. No one EVER came to take my money. I drove up to the food window to see what waa going on in this circus joke of a McDonald's. There was not on person in site. No one. So I drove off and grabbed food at another restaurant a mile away. I have continually experienced long lines with people driving away in frustration; incomplete and incorrect orders; the slowest moving staff on planet earth and rude attitudes. Such a horrible joke of a business. read more

We placed an order at the kiosk around 5pm. Over half an hour before someone appeared in the front to be able to question about the wait. I understand that things happen. But the worst part of eating in the lobby was a group of teenagers which included an employee apparently on break. This group, including the employee yelled and cussed loudly. We had a young child with us. Then they proceeded to "prank" a Chinese restaurant by calling and ordering $80 worth of food that they had no intention of picking up. I know this because it was on speakerphone and they were filming it. All of this could have been avoided if there was an employee in the front, to monitor customer concerns as well as the actions of their own worker. read more

This place was horrible. We walked in a couple had already been waiting for service, after waiting a few minutes for someone to come to the counter my father had asked if someone was coming to the counter and the lady behind had said that they had 'touch to order' that we could use, instead of asking someone to come to the counter. But dad didn't have a card. We had to type all the things in manually and take off what we didn't want on the sandwiches, etc. And then go back up to the counter and ask for someone so we could pay. If I could put 0 stars, I would. PS While in the truck, leaving, I had started to take out my food and while grabbing a fry bag, the bottom was broken and all fell on me. This McDonalds is one of the best ones i have been to in my time around novi and the detroit area. They have the cleanest overall shop and nicest bathrooms in the area. I would highly recommend this buisness to anyone looking for some amazing eats on the go. read more

On every level, this location is terrible. The only reason why one would patronize this place is because, sometimes, people want McDonald's. The customer service is deplorable, no quality assurance. Very simple orders are often wrong and there is no sense that one employee cares at all. Seriously, Sadly, this would be zero stars because, except for the pre-fab McDonalds food, this place has no redeeming qualities. Long waits and total employee apathy. read more

There is a second Mcdonalds just off 275, two miles south at 6 mile. That is the bad one, this location is the good one. Just to the west of the very busy 275/8 Mile interchange, Haggerty road is crowded and curves slightly here so keep your eyes open for the sign and driveway. Two drivethru order lanes. Inside they have four of the huge touch screen order stations so you can order and pay for yourself, and either pick up at the counter to go, or take a marker and wait for table delivery service. The staff is fast and helpful, and they keep the dining room clean. This is a great McDs location. read more

I never think to leave a review for fast food places because 1. I don't go to them often and 2. It's usually not a great experience. But, I have to leave a review for this McDonalds. I placed my order through the kiosk. This place was crazy busy on a Sunday morning... two rows for drive through, line inside, Uber eats and grub hub orders, kiosk orders, etc., all happening at once. Evan (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly), the manager, was seriously the most magical manager I have ever seen. It's like he had 5 sets of eyes and ears, to know everything happening everywhere... he was SLAMMED, and kept happy and positive, and made sure every order was perfect, he knew what was happening at every checkout area, etc. I have NEVER seen a manager do what he did last Sunday. Above all of this, there were several employees with special needs, and he made every single one of them feel like they were the greatest human ever... the way he talked to them, cheered all his employees on, got them going without one negative comment, etc., warmed my heart more than words can say. This man needs a raise and needs to be recognized for being an amazing human being! read more

The second i walk in the ghetto manager tells me to "feel free to use the kiosk" meaning she is too lazy to take my order at the counter and say "hi can I take your order" When I was waiting for my GMO processed chicken salad a young man asked for better looking chicken strips (because they were probably 4 hours old) and the same manager was getting all funky with him saying "what you mean" So she reluctantly replaced the chicken strips that I guess looked better but were probably just as old. She acted like that was the hardest thing to do in the world. The young man was visibly upset as he should be. I get it, the pay is probably 9 or 10 dollars an hour which isn't very good, If I were In charge I'd start at 12 an hour, that way you will get applicants that are willing to work and not be ratchet But I'm assuming McDonald's is too cheap to pay people a remotely livable wage so this is what we get, bad food and bad service even though McDonald's is a multi billion dollar corporation read more

I made a Yelp to write this. I've never had a worse experience with any business ever. I waited forever in line and finally got the wrong order so I went back through to get the correct one. They left me waiting at the window and looked at me like I was dumb for not going to the next window when all they said was "you had the wrong order?" I finally got the correct order after 45 minutes after being extremely patient and polite. When I ate my food the fries had a bad taste that left a burning sensation in my mouth. It tasted like some sort of cleaner or perfume was doused in it. So thank you very much for that, hopefully I don't get sick and end up in the news. read more

I went to the drive-thru. When I ordered at the speaker box, I said I wanted a QUARTER POUNDER, WITH NOTHING ON IT -- only the meat and bun. I SPECIFICALLY SAID NO CHEESE and no condiments. When I picked up my order at the pick-up window, I SPECIFICALLY SAID, AGAIN, "now this is plain, just the meat and the bun, right?" The young lady assured me it was correct, and that it WAS a quarter pounder. Well, guess what? It WAS a quarter pounder WITH CHEESE (AND i SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM FROM THE GET-GO, "PLAIN, NOTHING ON IT BUT THE MEAT AND THE BUN, NO CHEESE". AND YET THE JACKASSES STILL GAVE ME CHEESE. So I called them to complain and told them I would deliver the proof to them tomorrow. This has happened to me more than this once at this location. The service here sucks, They can consider themselves fortunate if I don't throw the incorrectly prepared burger on the floor when I go there tomorrow. It is not right to treat your paying customers like shit. I cannot "select rating," as your website requests, as one star is the lowest rating, and you do not have anything below a ZERO. But you should. It's no wonder all of the local McDonald's have been closing. Horrible service. If McDonald's had any sense, they'd shut down this particular restaurant. Since you insisted that I HAD to provide a rating, i selected a ONE because you didn't have anythkng lower than a one. However, you deserve a negative number. read more

They definitely like to sell you old food. Which is disgusting. I tried this place three times as it's near my hotel but each time the food has just been trash. This time I made sure to ask cook to order for my food (which means they make it fresh) and the fries were hot but had a gross taste to them and the nuggets were chewy like they'd been cooked left out then redropped and served.
