I stopped by this morning needing 3 dozen donuts. The lady on the speaker was so nice and very helpful. She didn't get frustrated with all my questions and the changes I kept making. She also gave helpful advice how to pre-order by calling a head and they can have them ready. When I arrived to the window my order was done. I was super surprised how quickly they packed them up. Having only visited one other Tim Horton's location (Niagara Falls, ON) in the past, we were looking forward to several visits during our just completed week long visit to Michigan and Ontario. Unfortunately, our most recent visit left much to be desired. The service was slow and the options limited. There are little to no options for decaffeinated drinks. This is the worst Tim Horton's I've ever encountered. Out of the first doughnut we asked for...no big deal..it happens...order tim bits...get to the window to pay and they are out of those too! So finally just asked what kind of doughnuts do they actually have?! My ice coffee is cream with ice cubes...doesn't even look like any coffee is in it. My husbands coffee is missing a sleeve too. Where oh where to begin! Walked in Sunday morning around 10:30 to a line at the register. They only had one register open but it went fairly quick. The line however is akward because there isn't much room to stand so you're basically in the way of people coming and going. I stepped up to order and asked if there were refills on the coffee, granted I didn't ask if they were free but, she said they did. Then I asked if they were free and she said no. Probably better to tell me there's a charge for refills then to leave it to my imagination. I could have been upset if I got a refill, assuming it would be free, and had to pay. I did ask how much refills were but she didn't know, that's information that should be readily available. So I ordered a large coffee, which is pretty large! Their one redeeming quality is that the coffee is hot and tasty. I also ordered the maple waffle breakfast sandwich while hubs ordered the English muffin with bacon, cheese and egg and an apple fritter. We were given our coffees and donut but no further instructions on how to get the rest of our order. I asked and she simply pointed to the cafeteria style counter. We walked over to it and found 2 sandwiches on a plate but no one indicated they were ours, so again I asked and the guy sweeping the floor simply nodded yes. We walked to a table and there was a few pieces of trash around the floor and where we sat the floor was sticky, yuck! A couple of tables around us were dirty but we found a clean one and sat down. Ok, here we go with the actual food review....my sandwich, although edible, was barely room temperature. The waffle was very soft. It seems they simply have them made up and then warmed when ordered because of how soft the waffle was. It wasn't like it came out of a waffle iron with that somewhat crispy texture. It certainly would have tasted much better with that crunch and warmer. Hubby's sandwich wasn't anything to write home about other than the fact it was unremarkable. Soggy, doughy English muffin and again, barely warm. The apple fritter was even worse. No apple to speak of and a very thin ribbon of cinnamon. Definitely nothing remarkable. With the lack of cleanliness, bad food and unhelpful staff we won't be returning that's for sure. I felt I could get a better breakfast almost anywhere and most places have free coffee refills! Do yourself a favor and get breakfast elsewhere. read more

So the line is long and slow which is challenging. The issue is I get to the front finally and ask for a coffee using my refillable cup that is clean. The girl says I'm sorry we can't due to covid. My family lives in town, so I roll through here when I get the chance. I've never had a bad visit here, and the last three times were exceptionally great. Go with glazed sour cream or honey timbits, plus an Iced Capp, to perk up these hot summer days. Ordered a caramel mocha, got an "iced coffee" with no straw. Went around the building and got in line again to get a straw. Put the straw in and took a sip, and it was lukewarm. I looked at the cup, and saw that there was very little ice in it. Like not even enough to cover the top of the drink. It was over 90 degrees out, but it wasn't cold enough to make the cup sweat. Do you trek to the other side of town to Starbucks, make a McDonald's run, or drive-through at Tim Hortons? I say there's nothing wrong with Tim Hortons. Didn't have the 3 cheese bagel that I always get at time hortons. Said that they had asiago but that was it. I asked if that was the same thing and they acted annoyed. Standard Tim Horton's. I was there once on a Sunday morning, and the church crowd was coming in as well. They barely had many options for donuts which I found incredibly surprising. I do not think I will be going back to this place again anytime soon. First of all, businesses should ALWAYS have products ready for the customers to have. Tim Horton's runs out of some food when they shouldn't. The last approx. five times I have been there, I have always wanted breadbowl to go with my soup, they say they don't have them. Quite several times, they have ran out of chicken or pesto or even mango smoothie! Plus, sometimes there are only ONE soup available and there should be more. Come on, seems like the management is poor because that shouldn't happen. The cashiers should listen better next time customers come around. I have told one of the cashiers previously to get me large bowl of soup, but they gave me small! Then, I told her I wanted white bread instead of wheat, guess what.... I got wheat. It's not that hard to mess up orders when it's that simple. For the positives, the workers are friendly and will get your food out as fast they could. The food are alright. Awful. It doesn't even deserve 1 star. We live right next to this Tim Hortons and my husband loves Tim Hortons coffee so unfortunately we go there a lot. We've been to many Tim's but this one is the worst hands down. Atleast they can get his coffee right but anything else is just to much for them apparently. First of all I HATE that on their coupons and their menu the photos look nothing like the food you get when you order off the menu. I order a grilled breakfast bagel which on the menu in the photo is on a regular bagel so when I received mine on an everything bagel the woman at the window says that's how it comes and shuts the window!! Like what the hell! So next time around I say forget the bagel I'll just get an iced coffee. Now on the menu it looks like a nice iced coffee with some cream all done up and creamy looking, I eat to the window and they try to hand me this black iced death drink so I say that doesn't look anything like the menu and they tell me most people prefer it black. So I ask them to put some cream in mine so they do so while huffing and puffing the whole time. I just think that the menu should match what you get! If per say I did want that black for who knows what reason I would use my brain and see that the photo shows cream in it and I'd just say I'd like that but black. I shouldn't have to ask them to remake it, I ordered off the menu it should be what's on the menu. Next trip I go I order a 1/2 dozen of chocolate glazed doughnuts, they hand them to me I open them and they're plain with chocolate frosting, I get it everyone makes mistakes but I open the box before leaving the window and tell the girl I'm these aren't chocolate glazed and she was already waiting for me to hand them back like she knew they weren't and was just hoping I didn't notice!!!! A lot of people don't give this place too many good reviews but I'm not a lot of people! The coffee here is great and cheap! Way better than a over sugared Starbucks coffee. A few weeks ago, I went in there and there was 1 register open and quite a line. Another worker came in and got the 2nd register working. When it was my turn, I asked for a medium coffee and the cashier rang me up for a small and gave me a large coffee, he said it was for waiting in line for so long - and it was literally 3 extra minutes of my time I waited. I go to Tim Hortons often and every time I go they seem to be out of Tim bits except for two or three disgusting kinds. I can go there at 10 AM and they will be sold out of almost more than half of the kind of donuts and Tim bits they offer. If they made more they would definitely sell. Especially when they're selling out during breakfast hours and have the rest of the day to go. Not only will they be sold out of every product that you want but their staff will be extremely rude and not say anything to you. Once I receive my food I found an eyelash stuck to my doughnut. I spit out my food and will not return for quite some time. I've also gone to this location and have had wonderful experience but it's nearly a 5% chance that you will get that service. Honestly Tim Hortons has been eating a whole new staff and management for quite some time. Everyone I know complains about this location if they could get someone in there who properly knows how to run a store this location could be within the top 100 of the company since we don't have a Dunkin' Donuts in our town anymore. Our experience at the Midland Tim Hortons was nothing short of extraordinary. Our party of five successfully gave and received our orders (no mistakes!), and seized a corner table surrounded by the lovely Midland morning light. The table next to us really gave us a treat, exposing us to the unique cultural traditions of Midland folk and birthday celebrations. A satisfying, day I say rejuvenating, fifteen minute stop in this gem of a place was exactly what we needed to strengthen our spirit on our journey up north. The place is open 24 hours, but when I went recently about 10 p.m., they had just one kind of soup, none of the mac & cheese they were advertising and few donuts. This is NOT the first time, and I'm sure it won't be the last time that I have had the upmost worst customer service at the Midland, MI Tim Horton's location. Today at roughly 8:15am I ordered a coffee, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, and a 20 pack of Timbits. The girl at the window handed me the box of donuts with chocolate frosting all over the box, and then had dripping chocolate running down the side of it. When asked for napkins she looked puzzled. My coffee was then also dripping out of the cup, and onto my work clothes, because the lid was not on all the way, and to top it off my bagel was NOT toasted at all, and had the littlest amount of cream cheese on it. This is UNACCEPTABLE customer service. I am pretty sure you are supposed to change your gloves with every customer order due to allergies, but that wasn't the case today. I keep going back because I enjoy your coffee and donuts, but when employees don't seem to care about presentation or their reactions to the customers it's a slap in the face. Why should I continue to give you my business when it seems like you don't even care about your job? The manager Sara (I believe that is her name) is ungodly pleasant to speak with. She is the root of all their problems. Maybe if they had a manager that cared about her job, then maybe her employees would care about theirs. Customer service is not that difficult especially when you are delivering coffee, donuts and sandwiches. This was my last and final chance with this business. When you go, do NOT order any sort of breakfast food (besides donuts). They get visibly upset when you order any other type of breakfast food. They are usually "out" of most breakfast items, or they tell you "It will be 15-20 mins do you still want that?" I'm talking about outrageous things...breakfast sandwiches (usually a 15 min wait), breakfast wrap (usually a 15 min wait), yogurt parfait (usually "out of"), bagel with cream cheese (usually "out of"). And I'm NOT talking about ordering at 11am....I have been through the line at 5:30am...and they were already "out" of most of the breakfast items. When you order more than 6 donuts (like if you are buying for your office or co-workers), they get really furious that you would ever want that many donuts (they ask you multiple time if you really want 2 dozen donuts)...then you have to wait 10 mins for the donuts. They have never given me napkins...just straight up never. They also refuse to give you a bag to put your multiple boxes of donuts in, so they slide all over the place. Just overall a horrible place and I have given them so many chances and they just hate supplying you with breakfast items in exchange for money. read more
