One of metro Toledo's best bake shoppes. If you didn't know, Timmy's is legendary in Canada and the Midwest US. Everything we tried here scored big. My favourite was the Bacon, Egg and Cheese combo on an English muffin. I added a Boston creme stick just to give my Endo doc something to talk about. The coffee was perfectly in line with the blend, mix and timing of Tim's standard. The folks in the drive-through were most friendly. Stephanie told us we were a couple weeks too early for hot apple cider drinks. Our loss. During the Covid-19 thing, this Tim's is only open for the drive-thru. My order got a little messed up, but it was quickly corrected, in fact, the staff bent over backwards to make sure everything was correct! Even through the little window, I could see a large, energetic group. Some of them were being trained and from what I could see, everyone was having a pretty good time in there. I like that. Having lived in Canada for 15 years of my life and knowing Tim Horton's very well, I couldn't imagine why this Timmy's has a 2 star rating. Our donuts, muffins, and coffee were all fine and maybe in some regards even better than some experiences in Canada. It truly is the service. This Timmy's is the worst service I've ever had. Like, really really BAD service. Drive-Thru only was open morning of June 28th. The people taking the order sounded like they were trying to limit how much we could order and were almost rushing us to take the order and saying "That's everything?" after everything I said. We got to the window and I asked if I could add a blueberry muffin to my order which the girl training the new girl working the register explained but got really annoyed about it. They handed us most of the order but not the muffin we added and no napkins so I asked for those items from the rude girl training the other girl. The drive thru window was open and after a couple of minutes, the rude girl says "what are they still doing here? Why aren't they leaving?" New girl asks us more politely. I respond about the missing items. She nearly tosses the muffin and napkins at me and says "okay, have a nice day" window closes. I'd eat at Timmy's regardless but what a lousy customer service experience! Someone at corporate needs to solve this if they ever want Timmy's to take off in the US. read more

Things have changed for the better for this chain. Been around 5 years since Ive visited any stores. At the time, I complained about dry crumbly pastries and burnt over roasted coffee. Happily they've figured it out as Ive been to several stores in the past week in NY & Oh and things are much better taste wise. Service always was ok and still is. As a native Chicagoan, Tim Hortons is a real treat so my wife and I naturally stopped over while on a road trip back home to downtown Chicago from Ohio. It was an afternoon on a Sunday and the manager, Mike, a really nice guy from Texas originally, heard that I was excited to finally step into a Tim Hortons after so many years and offered to give me a free variety pack of the Timbits with my order of the mocha iced capp (he added an extra shot of espresso as well). Everything was delicious as expected and the right snack for my 4 hour road trip back. It's not common these days to pass through a casual food or coffee chain and be treated with that type of friendliness. I look forward to a random trip back to the Maumee Tim Hortons! read more

Possibly average at best donuts/ baked goods in a nicer chain style environment. If you want great donuts you need to go to a local private owned place like Ma Ma C's. Tim Hortons has its place, there is a drive through and the coffee is mot bad, but the old style fold back lid is annoying. They have a variety of items on the menu and you can buy bulk coffee, a little pricey though. Its OK for a chain but there are better choices. read more

As a southerner I've never had Tim Hortons before until recently but i really wish i could turn back time to where I've never had it again. Easily one of the worst places. The coffee is terrible, the doughnuts were cold and felt stale, and the breakfast is awful. If someone ever recommends Tim Hortons i promise you your best course of action is to punch them in the throat and go somewhere else instead. read more

It's 2 pm no ones in the store and the wait is killing me should offer Tim bits for the delay.

I keep giving them chances but they always disappoint. 1 - 75% of the time my order is incorrect 2 - Their ice coffee tastes like water 3 - I ask for my breakfast sandwiches grilled because they are never hot enough. They never grill it. They run the biscuits through the toaster on the fastest setting so they barely come out warm and the cheese won't even melt. Staff has always been nice but they need to work on their food quality. It's severely lacking. read more

My go to Tim Hortons. Good iced capps and donuts. This location has the best service out of all the others that I have been to in town. They add a good amount of whipped cream to the iced capps, where other ones kind of skimp on it. They also seem to always have the donuts I want fresh and ready, where some other stores I have to wait for them to make them. Good friendly kids working here too! read more

I should have just had the hot coffee since I guess it's what everyone seems to love. We needed to get some quick and decent breakfast early in the morning after the late night Bosie State-Toledo football game and treking to South Bend for the Notre Dame-Michigan State game. Have to get there early to setup our tailgate :). I ended up ordering a large vanilla iced-coffee and a bagel breakfast sandwich. Well, my vanlila iced-coffee had no vanila and the bagel on the breakfast sandwich was really dry and bland, very unsatisfying. The first hour heading west on the Ohio Turnpike I kept yelling "Tim Hortons sucks". One positive is that we had a van load of people ordering and they sure were very fast to complete our order. Next time I am in the area, I will only get the hot coffee and get breakfast at Micky D's :) read more

Employees are always just wandering around talking to each other while people wait for their orders. Then they'll hand you one thing and walk away. I asked for the rest of my order and they asked, "what else did you have again?" It seems that way every time I have been there. The final straw was last week when I ordered a bagel belt (egg, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato) and was given a plain bagel that was toasted yet cold, with the smallest amount of cream cheese on it. This was our first time eating at Tim Horton. The food was okay, nothing special about it. The service was not good at all. The workers are inattentive, unresponsive, and overall, lacks character. One customer, after waiting for one of the five employees to tent to him, finally broke and demanded service. The man was standing in front of the cashier spot for a while and nobody noticed him. They did an amazing job. I've been there several times during my stay. Today it was pouring rain so I just pulled up to the window and they greeted me with this huge smile. They then saw my dog and was like awwww. Then asked if they could give him some treats. I said sure. They gave him a donut hole and then a cup PACKED with sausage. I mean packed there must have been at least ten patties in there. They were having trouble closing the lid. My dog was so excited. Even on the way back to the room he was jumping up and down the whole way to the room. These guys were very sweet and kinda. Keep up the awesome job!!! read more

Our visit to Tim Hortons on Sept 29 certainly wasn't service oriented. Six people in one corner - one not knowing what the next was doing and very disorganized. One person at the front counter and she was very slow and it took forever to get a sausage and biscuit sandwich. People behind us were waiting to order as well. Trying to have patience and upon leaving the young man behind the counter made a snide remark. I inquired as to the owners name and he said Duane in asking for the last name he didn't know; however, a lady waiting said Stillwell. You need to get a handle on your employees so that aervice can be obtained on a timely fashion or you can look for loss of customers. I wish no stars was an option. This location is full of rude, disrespectful, belittling employees on all levels. The manager we spoke to was in full support of her rude drive-thru worker refusing to serve us. Asked us to return to the location and then hung up on me when we arrived when I called to speak to her about the issue. Closes early, or should I say leaves the lights on but won't serve you once they have started cleaning up half hour before they're supposed to close. Will never return to this location and probably any tim hortons ever given the fact that they promote this type of behavior. read more
