Sunday night at 8. No ice cream. Cold panini and slow service. Know when to stop clean and help serve.

Tried placing an order 3 separate times over the past 4 months (2 birthdays and 1 anniversary) each…read morevoice message I left (because they never answer the phone) was not returned. Stopped by their store 4 times in the past 6 months. 3 times they were closed (during the posted store hours) the other time someone was in so we tried to place a large order for 2 weeks in advance, guess what... We were told the baker was 'not available' and was working at another job (apparently the baker is only in a few hours a day and has a full time job out of town. No one else can quote a custom order) and we would have to call back or stop in again. I'm sorry to post this review, I will try a few more times this spring. Will post another review if successful.

I wasn't that impressed. I got a chocolate birthday cupcake with sprinkles they look very gourmet…read morebut the taste does not match the look. The whole reason I went to the shop was to put in an order for my daughters birthday. I tried to contact the shop and could not get a response and also attempted to contact somebody via email with no response so I went to the shop. My experience in the shop should have been a clear sign to not place an order for my daughters birthday. There were only two customers buying items and it literally took FOREVER. The customers had questions about certain ingredients which I assume were allergy related and nobody could give her a clear answer (not even the person in the back baking) NOT GOOD. They do or do not know what goes into the cupcakes? Anyways after waiting and waiting I finally placed my order and was told Id receive a phone call with an estimated price and to get a pickup time. Not only did they not get made they simply never called me back. Poor customer service isn't exactly the best way to start a new business. The staff seemed very uneducated about the foods they were selling. I ended up making my own cupcakes and a personal sized cake for my daughter and she loved them both. I guess I'll stick with L&P or do them myself. Shouldn't really have to beg a company for service.

Update: business changed names it's the same place but must be different owners from the last time…read moreI visited years ago. I Had the opportunity to visit the bakery yesterday, bought two different kinds of brownies. The brownies were the length and width of a triple A battery with the price of $2.00 a piece. These were not worth the price. The peanut butter frosting on the brownie was good. I ate the brownies the next day and had to warm up the peanut butter one in the microwave to get it soft enough to eat. The chocolate brownie was much better and did not have to microwave it. When I picked out the chocolate brownie I asked what kind it was and the person that helped me didn't know. I decided to get it not knowing what kind it was. It was good. I felt like the brownies should have been bigger for the price. The cut out cookies were 1.50 a piece but I wasn't willing to pay that for one cut out cookie. I understand that prices have gone up everywhere. The cookies were decorated nicely. The prices were not marked within the viewing area of the goodies unless I missed it. I did ask how much the cookies were. They did have a nice selection of donuts and different assortment of cookies. The clerk put my brownies in two separate small waxed paper baggies. I have never had my baked goodies packed in waxed paper baggies before. Most of my frosting was left on the baggie instead of the brownie. Not sure of the purpose of a waxed paper baggie. If it's supposed to keep your item fresher or softer.

i ordered cake and cupcakes to support a local business. my first impression was i could have…read moredecorated better than the writing on them. the 'carrot' cake was obviously from a box mix because we saw no carrots and tasted like the spicey box mix from walmart. The frosting was horrible and we ended up not eating any of them. $135 for a cake and cupcakes. Yes... i paid for their time but the quality was horrible.
