I placed an order for pick up between 6-7 pm. My husband arrived around 6:30 and it wouldn't let me check in on the app because it showed the order had not yet been shopped. I called and spoke with someone who told me the order was almost done, "5 more minutes". 40 minutes later, no one came and the order still showed it had not been shopped. I told my husband just to leave. I called and explained the situation in hopes to just cancel the order, but got put on hold for 20 minutes when I finally gave up and hung up! I then received a text around 7:30, 30 minutes past my pick up window, saying the order was now ready. My husband is now driving 20 minutes back to pick up the order. I am not one to normal write a review but this was very poor service and communication, and unfortunately this isn't the first time I have had issues with curbside pick ups. read more

Meijer runs deceptive ADs. They advertized little one dollar Barefoot wines for 1$. Went in, looked up and down all the alcohol related isles, couldn't find anything but the six dollar ones no matter how hard I looked. So of course now I'm out 36$. Went back for a refund and got offered a 10$ coupon for my troubles. If you want what's actually advertized, good luck. They must be hiding all that in the back so you can't get it. Meijer often has good sales. Aisles are wide and clean. The store is open pretty late so good for night owls. There's a good variety of options. They even have plenty of vegan and organic ptions. Parking lot is massive, just like the store itself. They have recycling bins at the front of the store for soft plastic, such a grocery bags. Reusable bags are better of course and they sell those too. Carts are always in good supply whether large or small. Some sale items were sold out, but not too many at least. read more

I used there curbside pickup for the 1st time. They shopped for me and everything. I got produce meat and other things. Produce was good and they even gave me a better deal on the meat I was purchasing. Parking lot was cleared from the snow . Store was clean in front and all. Meijer's makes enough money that they could afford a bagger at their store. I spent almost $300. I stand in line and wait forever because they only have 2 lanes open through the week. I put all the items on the belt, and then I am EXPECTED to go down to the end where the groceries are, and bag them myself. I don't work for Meijer. The cashier wasn't happy I wouldn't bag them. Why should I have to do all this work? It is my favorite store but I had to stop doing weekly shopping there. Because instead of the cashier making me feel bad for not bagging, I will just go to Walmart or Kroger, where they apprecaite your business. read more

For the love of God! The last 2 times Terrie from Instacart has shopped for me at Meijer's in Marion, Ohio she's failed to deliver important items which I have been charged for. I'm tired of it! Meijer is my go to grocery. Just moved to Marion and was happy it is so close to my home. The store is NEVER stocked. I can never get my usual purchases. Very disappointing and frustrating to shop here. Cashiers are slow and there's never enough lanes open when the parking lot is packed. I love the neighborhood I live in and the home I bought, but shopping and dining in Marion has been very disappointing so far. read more

I have been frequenting Meijer in Marion more often than Kroger or Walmart these days. I shop there for the freshness and good taste of the Meijer brand ground chicken,...hummus and the stone bread for the hummus. All of these times are always fresh and great! The ground chicken makes great chicken tacos! No unusual after taste in the meat! Also, I don't have to ask their deli employees to put out the stone bread... they usually keep it stocked! The employees speak without prompting and are eager to help their customers! Thank Meijer for a great shopping experience! read more

Meal (***): The usual gustatory satisfier I choose is some form of chicken, usually fried, accompanied by some kind of fountain drink. Sometimes I purchase cooked meals, sometimes I have to do the cooking in a microwave. Sometimes the microwave is out of order. Regardless of the amenities, you can have a quasi-healthful meal for relatively cheap. You can pretty much eat anything you purchase at the store. So to make the meal lean toward the healthful side, you can purchase a pre made salad or you can cook some rice-the possibilities are endless. If you're into richer flavors, there's everything available from sushi to subs and everything in between. Ambiance (***): This is truly a grab bag. Depending on the time of day, you could experience the golden oldies club, or the lunch bunch work crew, but many times you'll have some solid solitude. Service (***): I've personally never had extremely poor service, but I've never had extremely awesome service, either. It seems like just a job, and that's okay. read more

The store itself is a typical Meijer. It has several items at average prices. One thing I did really like, though, was some of the bakery items- until now. I got one of my favorites and was really looking forward to it, only to bite into a huge, blond hair inside of it. Gross is a understatement. I obviously will not be going back here, at least for any type of food products. read more
